I'm here too! I played the first part of this series two years ago and never got to play the second part. So...yeah this felt like my chance to finish the story!

I will likely bring Klara Hoft (lvl 4) as good investigator always handy in such missions.
Although I've got Monk (lvl 6) as a possible option.

Hey all! Yep, still jettin' around the globe. I'm in Hong Kong this week for days off, and not sure if I'll still be here once Gameday starts or where I'll actually be then. That's the adventure!

Just got the scenario today and I'll start prepping it.

Since we're not allowed to post anything official from the scenario before the start date, I can't tell you where you're all meeting until then. Normally I prefer to set the stage to allow character introductions in situ, but I can't really do that this time. So suffice to say you meet in the backroom of a tavern, and can introduce yourselves while we wait for your host to "begin the briefing."

In the meantime, please let me know if you've played or GMed this scenario before (I see that Shayna's Player Uncle Froggy has and is using a Replay, yes?)

Also, let me know who has played or has GM credit on this character for part 1, #3-11 No Time for Treason.

We'll be importing chronicle info from the master sign-up spreadsheet, so once you've decided on a character, please make sure to update that, too.

I have plans to GM 3-11 No time for treason during upcoming weekend so if players will come - I will be with a chronicle and likely aware of related scenario plt.

Although I am still hesitant wh to bring - Monk-6, or Investigator-4.

Investigator seems like better choice for such mission. I see we've got 2 rangers and 1 bard.
I will take couple days to decide oer the weekend :)

I have 3-11 on a Fighter6, which will definitely pull us into high tier.

I think if I bring a third level instead we are low tier at 18 CP. Would someone please double check my math?

And does anyone have a strong preference to play one tier or the other?

3 x lvl 5: 12 CP
2 x lvl 4: 6 CP

If you really want to play low tier, I can drop to a lvl 3 PC as well.

IIRC, Pirate Rob also has 4 glyphs -- so we'll all start with 2 HP each.

Run a game while in the air. Play with your 1st officer and ATC.. be kinda hard to validate dice rolls though ;)

Hmm ... we're going to need a GM to weigh in on this.

So, I completed Sunshine's Remaster Rebuild just before Gameday, but I forgot to update his item list. According to his character sheet on Paizo, Sunshine still has a hatchet (which he should have sold) and a bag of holding, and he should have had thieves tools and a spacious pouch.

Would you allow a retcon? If not, then Sunshine technically couldn't have Picked a Lock (unless someone else has a toolkit).

I'll allow it, and allow me to explain.

In cases like this, I tend to lean toward how would it have happened in a real Golarion. It's not like Sunshine (Anschluss in his old form?) was just sitting around one day and magically transformed into his Remastered self. He was rebuilt to be a new build from the ground up, possibly with a new Background, Ancestry, and feat selections at earlier levels. If the New and Improved Sunshine is a stealth build with a strong emphasis on Thievery, then Sunshine might very likely never have owned a hatchet, but certainly would have had a set of thieves' tools, maybe even the same ones passed down to him by his Papa. A rebuild is a complete reset into a whole new person with a whole new backstory and history (except, of course, the history of missions accomplished.)

On the other hand, if I did a Retraining of a skill or feat choice and then forgot to buy the appropriate tools, then that would fall into the "Well, the Character did a dumb thing, just like his Player did." He retrained his Proficiency in Performance into Thievery, but he's still got his lute and forget to buy picks? Yeah, well, sounds like what happens in the real world, too.

Annnnd... As I was going over character sheets for vision and Initiative, I noticed that Klara has a set of thieves' tools. I'm sure she would have loaned them out in the Spirit of Cooperation. So, no worries.

Heh. I almost put "Taipei Time" but I figured most folks wouldn't know what time zone Taiwan is in (GMT+8, same as Hong Kong and the PRC for those unfamiliar.) But, yes, Taipei tonight and tomorrow, then down to HK in the evening for 48 hours, then back to the US for about a week of days off before my next work pattern.

I'm not supposed to be in HK those days, but anything can happen. Would love to meet up someday though. I'll be in Bangkok the last half of Oct and all of Nov, though, in case your travels (or anyone else's from the forums, of course) take you that way.

My apologies. I was sick yesterday and made some errors.

Red is unconscious. I've now turned her sideways to indicate that.

Shayna does NOT need to make a flat check in bright light, I just didn't amend that comment. Shayna and Klara only need to make those checks in the Dim light area.

@Black Molly: I probably should have asked earlier, but what exactly is Jack? He's not an eidolon, right? So a regular summons? I don't think you said in ooc. It likely won't matter this fight, but if you could post basic stats, like AC and hp next time, I'd appreciate it.

On second reading, “take them alive” could mean to take them prisoner, but it’s a little unclear. I figured the PFS didn’t want any blood on our hands.
