Poog will check if anything is magical and, if necessary, commandeer the potions of identify to figure out what they are.

cmlobue pregen γ |

"Chieftain needs this," Poog says as he grabs a potion from Mogmurch. He quaffs it, then examines the magic items.
Spellcraft vs. Armor: 1d20 + 3 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 3 + 10 = 33
Spellcraft vs. Gourd: 1d20 + 3 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 3 + 10 = 15
"Ooh, nice armor! And potion of... pumpkin spice?"

GM Mike...R |

Poog identifies the armour as +1 shadow studded leather armor. He is less sure about the gourd, however it looks the same as the one consumed by the boar the party fought on the way here. It sounds like it contains some sort of liquid, which could be accessed by removing the bung used to seal the gourd.
There does not appear to be anything else of interest on this floor of the house. Would I be correct in thinking that the plan is to use the potion of levitation to get up to the hole in the house's second floor? Is there anything the party want to do before entering the second floor?

Chuffy quickly removes his old studded leather to don the black studded leather from the dead goblin. The light from the outside doesn't want to cling to the black oily leather. As he don the last piece, the shadows around Chuffy deepen, to the goblin's delight.
"I. Am The Night!"
Chuffy, now far more Cool and Awesome than he previously was, looks down at the trap door. "Yous want me to go explore the birdhead's cave below us? or go up?"

"We know the birdthing is mad, leave it alone. We're here for Pa Buttmunch and we don't know where he is. We go up, find him, and then kill him lots."

GM Mike...R |

The goblins head outside to implement their assault on the second floor of the house. As they exit through the front door they notice that the two vultures which had been watching them from the roof have now flown down and are busy helping themselves to the corpse of the dog which our heroes vanquished earlier. The two large birds watch the goblins warily, ready to retreat back to their perch in the event of any trouble.
It sounds like the plan is to have Reta levitate Chuffy up to the roof of the 'kitchen' so that he can stealthily look through the hole in the top floor wall. I've revealed the roof of the 'kitchen' and the hole in the wall on the map. Chuffy will need to make a stealth check to try and look through the hole without being spotted by anything which might be on the other side of the hole.

GM Mike...R |

Chuffy is carried up to the top of the 'kitchen' roof by Reta with the aid of the potion of levitation and sneaks up to the hole in the wall to find out what he can see in the room beyond... The dominant feature of this room is a large bed, really nothing more than a nest made of old mattresses, loose straw, and mud. The fleas swarming on the 'bed' are obvious from several feet away. A single trap door sits in the ceiling above.
Stood in the room is a large humanoid wearing hide armour. His face is covered by a mask made out of an elk skull and he carries a spear which looks a little small for such a big creature, but which is also on fire. Although the creature does not appear to have spotted Chuffy, he does appear to be on guard and ready for a fight.
Examining the area around the hole Chuffy does not spot any traps.
I've revealed the room on the map and also the picture of the creature in the room. What do you want to do now?

.Mogmurch |

Would those of us on the ground see Chuffy's gestures?

cmlobue pregen γ |

"Subchieftain want to do this alone? Because some goblins still down here."

kaervek78's pre-gen |

If Mogmurch offers Reta the potion of barkskin, she will gladly drink it.
"Psst! I'll get you two up there, but you have to be quiet!"
The Subchieftain of Dog Killing grabs the remaining two goblins and levitates up, keeping them close to her.
I put our three icons on the map #8. I also assume that we are squeezing into two squares in total while we are levitating (you need to keep whatever you lift close to your body - otherwise it will become heavier thanks to leverage), so we're as little visible from inside the hole as possible. When Chuffy gets inside unseen, Reta will deliver both Mogmurch and Poog together (still squeezing) to the square that provides enough cover to hide behind.

GM Mike...R |

Other than the disgusting looking bed, the room beyond the hole has very little else in terms of furniture, so there wouldn't be any potential hiding places inside the room. That said Chuffy's current hiding place is good, so he would be able to launch a surprise attack from there as the others step onto the roof (Mechanically Chuffy would get a surprise round, while everyone else would spend that surprise round getting onto the roof).
As the goblins prepare to launch their attack, the creature in the room warily glances around, currently unaware of the green skinned doom currently creeping towards him...
Chuffy initiative: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22
Poog initiative: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
Mogmurch initiative: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
Pa initiative: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
SUPPRISE ROUND:
Chuffy
Mogmurch
Poog
Pa
Reta
(Bold may act and everyone else can move themselves onto the roof)

GM Mike...R |

Unfortunately from his hiding spot Chuffy would not be able to reach the creature and attack in the surprise round as he would only have either a move action or a standard action but not both and the closest spot where he can hide is more than a five foot step away from the creature.
That said, he does have a hand crossbow which he could use to sneak attack from range in the surprise round and then drop to move in and attack with his dogslicer in the first normal round of combat. So I'm happy for him to use the dogslicer attack as his attack in the fist normal round of combat and then do something different with his surprise round action (e.g. shoot with his hand crossbow).
ROUND 1:
Chuffy
Mogmurch
Poog
Pa
Reta
(Bold may act, Mogmurch and Poog have their round 1 actions and Chuffy is able to take a revised surprise round action)

Poog summons a phantasmal dogslicer to slice this non-dog-but-also-not-friend.

Reta is still busy getting herself on the roof.
Waiting for my turn.
If I'm reading it correctly (and the GM can correct me if I'm wrong), Reta and Mogmuch will spend their 'surprise round' action as move actions to get into the hole since we don't have line of sight/effect to the ogre to use a standard to attack with range, etc.

GM Mike...R |

Chuffy leaves the cover provided by the house wall and moves into the room catching the creature (who you suspect must be Pa Munchmeat) flatfooted, delivering a well aimed blow with his dogslicer which leaves an nasty looking wound. Poog follows up, summoning a Zarongel's (un)holy weapon to strike down his foe. Unfortunately Zarongel is not quite as accurate as he'd hoped.
ROUND 1:
Chuffy
Mogmurch
Poog
Pa -7
Reta
(Bold may act)

.Mogmurch |

Mogmurch moves into position and bombs away!
Bomb, Mutagen, No Feats: 1d20 + 8 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (16) + 8 + 2 - 4 = 222d6 + 2 ⇒ (1, 1) + 2 = 4
@GM: The square Chuffy is in will not be on fire per Mogmurch's class ability. Oh wow minimum damage, yay. :(

GM Mike...R |

Mogmurch's bomb hits Pa Munchmeat clean in the chest and explodes. Mogmurch is both surprised and disappointed when the fire fails to even slightly harm the brute who seems to be resistant to the heat.
Pa Munchmeat steps back away from Chuffy and speaks some indeciferable words in a low rumbling tongue while gesturing with one of his hands. As he finishes the goblins start to hear the sound of scrabbling and squeaking from above. Looking up to the eaves of the house they notice a number of small bats creeping out of the shadows, as they watch more and more bats appear, before coalescing into a seething swarm which descends onto the area of the 'kitchen' roof where Mogmurch is standing.
The area with the swarm is indicated by the pink square on the map.
Swarm damage to Mogmurch: 1d6 ⇒ 5 (Mogmurch will also need to make a DC11 Fortitude save vs the swarms distraction ability or be nauseated for the round)

...who is unable to land a telling blow. Reta's attack in response hits the ogre, but can't penetrate his thick hide. Chuffy takes advantage of Pa now being surrounded to deliver another damaging blow to the monster who bellows in pain.
Mogmurch, still bleeding from the bat bites he has sustained, stumbles out of the swarm towards Poog, who proceeds to unleash Zarongel's fiery vengeance upon them...
Swarm reflex save (DC13): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18
The bats manage to avoid the worst of the fire but still a good number of them are incinerated and they continue to advance, this time attacking both Mogmurch and Poog...
Swarm damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1 (Mogmurch and Poog will also need to make a DC11 Fortitude save to avoid being nauseated this round. The swarm attack will also cause both to bleed at 1 hp each round)
Poogs spiritual weapon strikes again at Pa but narrowly fails to land a damaging blow on the ogre. Meanwhile Pa, unable to step away from the goblins tries to cast a spell defensively...

Mogmurch's alchemist's fire explodes in the swarm incinerating the remaining bats. Meanwhile Poog's spiritual weapon once again narrowly misses Pa as does Reta's dogslicer.
Incidentally Poog does have the option of just using a 5 foot step to get out of the swarm which would let him use his wand if he wanted to?
