"Zarongel is pleased with your fiery death!"

Reta's shot is not quite as accurate as her previous one and narrowly misses its target. Poog's fire bolt in contrast seems to hit a particularly flammable bit of the stirge (blue) and it explodes in a fiery conflagration, almost completely incinerating the poor creature.

"Two points to Poog" anounces the Spook-Speaker.

After a few rounds of fighting them you suspect their defenses may be primarily due to size and agility rather than tough hide (i.e. mainly touch AC).

Frustrated at seeing her original target incinerated by Poog, Reta's shot goes wildly off target. Poog's effort is somewhat more accurate, but still fails to find its mark. Chuffy manages to complete a hat-trick of misses, slashing wildly at the stirge in front of him and completely missing it.

The stirge in front of Chuffy sees an opportunity for a nice snack and tries to grab hold of the goblin...

Reta's shot narrowly misses her stirge.

As it looks like Poog may be out of fire bolds already, Poog can do something different this round. I'll resolve Chuffy's attack after Poog's action.

"Moar fire plz, Zarongel?" Poog calls out as he tries to fling another bolt at one of the stirges.

That roll wouldn't hit anything anyway, so no need to retcon.

Poog's plee to Zarongel yealds no further fire bolts. He get's the impression that Zarongel is of the view that Poog already has more fire.

Chuffy slices at his stirge leaving a nasty gash in the flying pest. The stirge tries to return the favour by drinking Chuffy's blood...

"Gotcha!" Finally a hit again! :-) Unfortunately, minimum damage... :-/

Mogmurch toadies up to Wise Mummy, pointing out the flaws of the others and trying to learn how to stay on her good side.

Reta regains her composure and lands an accurate shot against her target.

Mogmurch uses his unplanned time as a spectator to try and butter up Mummy Sprattleharsh, who seems to appreciate the effort being made to keep on her good side.

(I'll resolve Chuffy's attack after Poog's turn.)

"Zarongel has plenty of fire for Poog!" the goblin shouts confidently as he starts dipping into his magical reservoir (not that he knows what a reservoir is), casting burning hands on Maroon (and possibly singeing Red).

Fire Damage: 3d4 ⇒ (3, 1, 1) = 5

"Hmm... Zarongel might need more kindling."

Poog unleashes Zarongel's burning fury on the two stirges ahead of him...

...the creature closest to him takes the brunt of the damage and is left buzzing weakly around it's post, clearly struggling to keep aloft, but still hungry for goblin blood... Poog thinks he can goad it into attacking him which would finish it off, if he steps a little further forward... (I assume he would as he still have a 5 foot step or move action which would let him do that).

Meanwhile the stirge which Chuffy is facing manages to escape the worst of the fiery blast, only to be caught by a well timed blow form its goblin assailant. It is left in a similar state to is compatriot...

Both stirges lunge at the nearby goblins, unable to control their lust for blood, but the effort causes both to slip into unconsciousness (both were effectively at 0 hit points before their attacks, and the attack itself would not do any damage to the goblins).

"Two points each to Poog and Chuffy." shouts Wise Mummy Sprattleharsh.

Sputtering from the mud, Poog shouts at no one in particular, "Zarongel curse you! Ten thousand deaths are not enough for you!"

Chuffy, seeing his quarry to far a field, walks the post back on to dry land, and runs toward the far pots where the remaining stirges squirm in their tethered prisons. Double move

Reta's shot flies wide of its target, while Chuffy moves towards the remaining targets.

The stirges buzz angrily.

Cruffy leaps onto the post at the edge, stalking and attacking the nearest (brown) stirge.

Mogmurch anxiously awaits to see who wins and helps Poog out of the mud.

Reta's arrow finds its mark, slaying the buzzing beast and setting it on fire for good measure.

"Two more points to Reta!" shouts Mummy.

As she does Chuffy swings at his new target, but the blow misses and the stirge senses an opportunity for a meal...

Reta draws her dogslicer, moves carefully forward and attacks the (white) stirge, all while singing her song:

Chuffy and Reta's initial blows strike true, slicing into their flying opponents. Both stirges are however very much alive and remain hungry for goblin blood...

...with Chuffy's foe finally managing to grab its victim, plunging its proboscis into the goblin's flesh and starting to feed (Chuffy takes 1 Constitution damage. Removing the stirge will require an Escape Artist or CMB check, although it is probably easier to just kill it. The stirge counts as being grappled while Chuffy does not).

Chuffy 10% disease chance (low = infected): 1d100 ⇒ 14

Reta continues her success with the follow-up strike which badly wounds her stirge, leaving it visibly staggered.

"OWW! Fooking bastard!" Chuffy curses as the stirge gets a lucky poke.

Chuffy cuts at the stirge which is now attached to him and drinking his blood. The blow lands, but does not do quite enough damage to remove the annoying parasite, which continues to feed. (Chuffy takes another point of Constitution damage from the stirge).

The stirge which Reta is fighting makes another attempt to grab on to her, but the effort causes it to lapse into unconsciousness.

"Two points for Reta." announces Mummy Sprattleharsh.

Oops, just realised I'd forgotten to roll to see if the stirge remained attached to Chuffy...

...and it looks like it did (they are pretty good at staying attached to goblins).

Round 11

"Ha-HA!" Reta tries to jump over to Chuffy's plank...

Uh-oh... but that's not low enough to fall - Reta had to move forward on the plank, so it just did not work, right?

Poog calls out, sometimes in Goblin, sometimes in animal speech, for the stirges to bite the remaining contestants good.

I think whichever of the options Reta goes with she will not be able to attack anything on round 11, so I'll resolve Chuffy's action.

Chuffy continues to strike at the stirge which has attached itself to him. It's easier to hit now that it has landed, but its hard to get a good angle to do significant damage (It looses its dex to AC while attached). It is however looking like its on its last legs after being repeatedly battered by Chuffy's dogslicer and it's attempt to keep hold of the goblin proves to much for it (it's staggered, so the action to maintain the grapple will finish it off).

"Two more points for Chuffy." shouts the tribes old Spook-Speaker.

Poog speaks to the remaining stirge and it tells him how it hungers for blood and wounders if perhaps he would also come closer so that it can feed on him as well?

Chuffy walks down the post and double moves to leap on the long post next to the smaller post, containing the remaining stirge.

Ok, if attacking from this plank is possible, then there's no need to jump. So...

"Uh-oh..." Reta tries to jump over to Chuffy's plank move forward, but stumbles and nearly eats mud. "Bad shoes are bad!" Stubbornly, she tries again...

...and successfully closes in on the stirge!

Enraged, Reta tries to jump over to Chuffy's plank...

...and successfully lands next to the other goblin!

(Normally I do not assume the outcome of an action, but our GM already posted the DC in discussion.)

"Now you eat mud!"

The fighter tries to push Chuffy off the plank. (bull rush)

@GM: Shenanigans are allowed when playing the Goblins scenarios, right? Chuffy has no chance to fail the acrobatics check and fall by himself - not with his modifier - and this combat maneuver does not cause harm. However, if you rule otherwise, that's more than fine.

bull rush: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19 (Chuffy's CMD: 15)

Reta leaps over to Chuffy's plank and gives him a good shove, sending him reeling backwards and into the swamp below.

"That's Chuffy out as well. Five point to Reta as the last goblin standing..." shouts wise Mummy Sprattleharsh.
