I actually considered taking the "Gunslinger" archetype instead of blessed one in particular the Way of the Sniper. Taking out a deserving target at a distance seems very vengeful, and in keeping with the feel I get from Dranngvit.
Since I haven't done anything with the Blessed One concept yet, would you have any issue with me changing this up?
Korox Bouldershoulder
Korox will still be very good at healing and medicine... but it never hurts to have back up healing. He still gets the standard cleric feats and skills, and the divine font spells... just using something else for the "Free Archetype".
I'll update the profile hopefully tonight.

Well for PFS, with "you never know who you're gunna get" Knab prioritized healing pretty early.
I was dithering a bit about my level 2 skill increase / feat, so let's see where the party gap is:
Myōbatsu the Night Shepherd @ Skills Acrobatics +8 (T), Crafting +6 (T), Intimidation +6 (T), Religion +4 (T), Stealth +8 (T), Thievery +8 (T), Underworld Lore +6 (T)
Jaqsiaria @ Deception +8, Diplomacy +8, Intimidation +8, Occultism +5, Performance +8, Stealth +7, Thievery +7, Genealogy Lore +5
Zothan the Seeker @ Acrobatics +7, Arcana +4, Athletics +6, Deception +7 (+8 w/Implement bonus), Diplomacy +7 (+8 w/Implement bonus), Intimidation +7 (+8 w/Implement bonus), Lore: Catfolk +4, Lore: Esoteric +7, Lore: Highhelm +4, Nature +3, Occultism +4, Religion +3, Society +6, Survival +3, Thievery +7
Dyrm @ Acrobatics +5, Athletics +8, Intimidation +5, Lore: Highhelm +4, Medicine +5, Nature +2, Religion +2, Society +4, Stealth -0 (+2 without armor), Survival +5, Thievery +2
Korox Bouldershoulder @ Acrobatics +6, Athletics -1, Crafting +5, Lore: Cave Lore +5, Lore: Dwarven Lore +5, Medicine +7, Occultism +5, Religion +7, Society +5, Stealth +7, Survival +7, Thievery +6
...
Looks like we have 3 solid thieves, and some decent Wisdom skills too - I think I'll stick with my original plan to become an expert in Arcana.
If we make it to level 3, we'll see where we are at!
Zothan the Seeker
For the record, thanks to his feat selections and class abilities, Zothan can Recall knowledge about any imaginable kind of Lore in the game as Lore: Esoteric with a minus 2 penalty (currently +5)
Lore: Beekeeping? +5
Lore: Drow porcelain dolls? +5
Lore: Tar Baphomet’s favorite color? +5

When I was putting the initial six together, one of the things I was looking at was skill redundancy. There is heavy use of all the 2E pre-Core subsystems, which tend to be very skill-based, so I wanted to make sure that those bases were covered. Planning to continue to have skill redundancy as you level makes good sense to me.
GM-Lia
@Knab
While going over level-ups, I found a mistake in yours. You have Bounty Hunter Dedication as your level 2 class feat and Investigator Dedication as your FA choice.
But, you can't do that. Both of those - and almost every other Dedication Feat require two other feats from that Archetype before you can pick another Dedication feat. FA does not invalidate that. You'll need to decide which of the two is your FA slot and put a class feat in the level 2 slot.
At higher levels, if there is more than one Archetype option, you can use both class and FA slots to take feats from an Archetype, or even by level 6, it would be possible to use one to take a third feat from an Archetype, and a Dedication from another.
Knab "The Knave"
|
Knab is no longer a Bounty Hunter by class, just by trade, as I have removed the Dedication, and retrained into the Quickdraw rogue feat.
Frankly, I think this "more focused" Knab suits him better - he is ready to rock!
Myōbatsu the Night Shepherd
Hey, sorry, were you waiting for me to post about going to the merchants, or were you just waiting until some of the other threads were finished first? If it's the former, I'll get a post up as soon as I can.
Myōbatsu the Night Shepherd
@Lia oh no need to apologize! Mostly I just wanted to make sure you weren't waiting on me. GMing puts a lot on your plate so no worries.
GM-Lia
Next week is Thanksgiving week. I don't know how many of you celebrate it and/or travel to do so. Because that week is often busy for people, from the 20th to the 27th, I'm going to freeze gameplay advancement. I'll be around to answer Discussion thread questions during that time, but won't advance the Gameplay narrative.
Myōbatsu the Night Shepherd
That works for me! I'll be out of town visiting family until the 30th so I won't be able to post much anyway.
Zothan the Seeker
Aye, says me.

I’m gunna stick to Knab’s strengths, he is built for mental pursuits, not for social ones.
Also, I am confused how the system is working exactly, so, if you want to ignore, or bank, his rolls, I am happy either way.

PET
FEAT 1
GENERAL
You have a pet—a Tiny animal of a type you choose, such as a cat, bird, or rodent. It has the minion trait, meaning it gains 2 actions during your turn if you use the Command an Animal action to command it; this replaces the usual effects of Command an Animal, and you don’t need to attempt a Nature check. A pet can’t make Strikes.
Level Your pet’s level is equal to yours.
Modifiers and AC Your pet’s save modifiers and AC are equal to yours before applying circumstance or status bonuses or penalties. It uses 3 + your level as its modifier for Perception, Acrobatics, and Stealth, and just your level as its modifier for other skill checks. It doesn’t have or use its own attribute modifiers and can never benefit from item bonuses.
Hit Points Your pet has 5 Hit Points per level.
Senses Your pet has low-light vision and can gain additional senses from pet abilities.
Speed Your pet has a Speed of 25 feet. You can choose to instead have an aquatic pet, which breathes in water instead of air and has the aquatic trait, no land Speed, and a swim Speed of 25 feet.
Pet Abilities When you gain your pet, choose two of the following abilities. If your pet is an animal that naturally has one of these abilities (for instance, an owl has a fly Speed), you must select that ability. Your pet can’t be an animal that naturally has more pet abilities than the maximum. In some cases, the GM might add some familiar abilities to the pet abilities you can choose.
Amphibious It gains the amphibious trait, allowing it to breathe in both air and water, and has both a land Speed and a swim Speed, each equal to its highest land Speed or swim Speed.
Burrower It gains a burrow Speed of 5 feet, allowing it to dig Tiny holes.
Climber It gains a climb Speed of 25 feet.
Darkvision It gains darkvision.
Echolocation Your pet can use hearing as a precise sense within 20 feet.
Fast Movement Increase one of the pet’s Speeds from 25 feet to 40 feet.
Flier It gains a fly Speed of 25 feet.
Manual Dexterity It can use up to two of its limbs as if they were hands to perform manipulate actions.
Scent Your pet can use scent as an imprecise sense within 30 feet
Tough Your pet’s max HP increase by 2 per level.
Special You can gain a new pet by retraining this feat, releasing any previous pet you have. If you later gain a familiar or other companion that uses the Pet feat, you can immediately retrain this feat.

Happy Thanksgiving to all as well. Hopefully I'll remember what is happening when we start back :-). I guess that's one advantage to PbP. We can go back and read.
Zothan the Seeker
It’s just another Thursday here in Denmark, but have a great holiday all you US-types. Don’t choke on the turkey!
Myōbatsu the Night Shepherd
I also won't be available until the 27th or 28th as I'll be out of town visiting family, so that works for me too.

Happy Thanksgiving (USA) or Thursday (International) folks,
One month heads up: I will be traveling December 20th to 27th, so my posting may be spotty during that time. If I am GMing for you, expect more minimal than usual posts (perhaps a pause if there is consensus), if I am a Player I will try and make sure my characters have sufficient Botting instructions and will try and check in every two days or so (perhaps more), but may need assistance with Maps and other technicals.
Cheers!

For the most part, when you guys are RPing I don't mind how you do it. I wouldn't suggest rolls as part of it, simply because the Paizo dice roller is so streaky, and do you really want to risk burning a good roll for something that doesn't matter :).
However, that said, in this case, at this time, Molly would not be being stubborn at all. You guys are literally pulling her out of weeks of not only physical abuse by Algerschmick but also social isolation from the rest of her herd, caused by the herd itself.
She would be incredibly eager to get away from the House of Six Nails, and while she may later become stubborn, right now she wouldn't be at all.
I feel bad for both her (for the reasons above) and Ektar.
When Ektar bought the House of Six Nails, Kayla didn't tell him about Algerschmick, because she thought he knew about her. He did not, and then when bad things started to happen, many other members of the family put it together.
But rather than just tell him, they decided to wait until a member of the Clan, who was known to not ask for help and believed that hard work could fix any problem, asked, specifically, for help. So everything snowballed almost out of control.

I’ll update the sheet with the overview of all rumors and post the link later today. We still have a handful of leads on interesting events.

GM - Knab would be interested in retraining his Dedication into an Archetype that grants him an Animal Companion - and taking White Molly on as his charge.
How may I begin doing that?
=)
Myōbatsu the Night Shepherd
Sorry about the extended absence, but I'm finally back from vacation! Working on getting up to date in my games now.

How embarrassing... I think Dyrm may have jammed the door
Well, at least you did wake up a fellow party member in the middle of an erotic dream about your character. Now THAT would have been embarrasing…

Well, critically missing headless mutton might be up there. *Eyes die roller*

Dice roller seems to be out to get you in both games.

GM - I see you have excluded me - please remove "Knab" from the campaign.
Let me know if you need to know how to do that, it helps to clear my dashboard.
Sorry I couldn't get interested.
You kids have fun!

I didn't exclude you. You had not posted since the group entered the restaurant. I assumed that you had been busy with RL, and when you returned, I'd roll init for you, if the fight was still going on, and go from there.
