Alas no. You have traveled down the staircase. Though at the base of the staircase you could push open the big doors or look around the other rooms... If you want to rain death down from above, you need to find a way out first!

Jorrast pulls on the door handle... 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 = 15... It could be locked but looking at the door it looks like the wood has swelled perhaps there is water or a liquid on the other side. Str DC 17 to open the stuck door.

Blood seems to collect into the air and forms into a mist and flying streams. At the end of the round they coalesce into a female form with glowing blue eyes, covered in blood, and armed with a cruel glowing dagger.

Once someone, likely Quince, gets next to him he smiles weakly. He states, "Thank you..." He seems like he would have said more but he seems to die violently as his body seems to cave in on itself.

Realizing that the door seems to just be stuck Jorrast tries to force it open....

Jorrast looks at the blood covered woman and attempts to Hex her. She raises her hand at the act... and the attack simply fails.

She giggles crazily and squints at your group, the smile doesn't leave her lips.

Are you just looking at the different doors? Are you still on Rocii? Are you opening doors to see what is beyond them?

Looking at the doors you see that the big doors in front of you are metal reinforced oak. They are sealed by a five inch thick beam of a dark wood of some kind. The other four doors in the entry hall seem to be rather plain, as if beyond would be the servants. You have seem some extravagant doors already.

She quickly cracks her neck and drops the dagger into the floor board where it sticks. Then she dances really well almost hypnotically, up to Jorrast. As she moves forward all the blood seems to disappear revealing a very attractive female elf in a monk's suit.

M17 Workshop seems the best option though they all seem empty vacant, the fires in the kitchen are not even lit...

@GM, the manifestation might be subtle patterns in the hexed creatures movements or behavior, that a witch/shaman may recognize as it taking hold. Perhaps slightly slower executed attacks, less a steady stance on their legs, is what i would imagine.

Round 17

Alice focuses, and as her eyes turn black as the void of space, shining particles form and attach themselves to the woman. The woman now sheds light like a candle, getting no benefit from concealment or any invisibility effect. Them clinging also to her eyes, she takes a -3 penalty to attacks and visual perception rolls. This lasts 4 rounds.

Alice resumes her chanting.
For a net of -7 on attacks.

M17 it is, but not until after I raid M16 for any herbs and such that can be helpful with making Roci feel better, as well as food.

Once "safely" into M17, I'll check Roci out to determine the extent of her injuries and such. She seems awfully beat up.

Jorrast does watch what the strange lady is doing, but stays in place, apparently laughing. He then points at her and sends another hex at her.

Cackle to extend the previous Evil Eye -4 on attacks (now -7 for Alice's Stardust?). Additional Evil Eye -4 to AC. Duration 7 rounds. DC18 Will save to reduce the duration to one round.


Round 17
She dodges the attacks with ease as if apart of her dance. She looks at Jorrast and states, "It's not nice to Hex someone, poor manners!"

Round 18

In a velvety voice she states, "If you want to be so rude, then I will handle my uninvited guests."

In a blur of movement she smashes into Jorrast and Ulricha each with a kick, then a right palm hit to Jorrast's face and a knee to the back of his head. Though with the hexes she misses.

Any creature in the area when the spell is cast must make a successful Reflex save or fall. A creature can walk within or through the area of grease at half normal speed with a DC 10 Acrobatics check. Failure means it can't move that round (and must then make a Reflex save or fall), while failure by 5 or more means it falls (see the Acrobatics skill for details). Creatures that do not move on their turn do not need to make this check and are not considered flat-footed.

Quince can see that the dark warrior is no longer 'possessed'. He looks drained of his health and is breathing slowly as he lays on the ground. He will not be getting up unless some severe healing occurs.

Once Quince, gets next to him he smiles weakly. He states, "Thank you..." He seems like he would have said more but he seems to die violently as his body seems to cave in on itself.

Jorrast, how did you hit her with two hexes to: "-4 on AC. Additional Evil Eye -4 to Saves." As Alice's Hex: Alice puts protective luck on Ulricha.

Effortlessly shrugging off the woman's kick, Ulricha watches her movement, aware of the frantic verbal exchange through the haze of her rage. As Xandarian shouts and the others hold in a standoff, she holds her attacks, taking a moment and relinquishing the rage driving her in battle.


Alice:
You do believe her but you also know words can have hidden meaning. You sense great danger from this elf.

Vandomir:
Rocii took lots of damage and was hit for about a dozen fort saves vs. the disease. She failed four of the saves.

She steps back and the blood seemingly follows her. Technically out of combat.

The damage is coming from the scepter he has planted with his off hand. Jorne has resistance 10 to electricity.

He coughs a bit of blood before stating, "Yes indeed. Thank you for the healing. The scepter can only be activated once a week so I am holding out to make the effect last as long as possible."

At several points he sheathes his dagger and holds a stop motion with his hand. This saves you two usages of the wand and he is near full hp again.

Like Jorrast, but without grinning, Alice replies to the woman.

"We inflict ho harm on you, if anything, we were pacifists in that regard."

But the intuition Alice got on this woman, is that she has a very dangerous presence about her.

She shakes her head with a sigh, speaking some words of 'relief', in hopes of the elf not understanding Sylvan. Jorrast does, i believe?

Sylvan:

"She is very dangerous, stay alert."
