Dashing out of the room, Ulricha stows her bow, draws her axe, and moves to the adjacent room as she notices the sound of Xandarian dealing with another enemy.


Ulricha's arrows seem to hit a wall before getting to the apellcaster. Who merely shrugs and reads a scroll releasing another red bead.

Xandarian stabs the man twice dropping him to a knee. The man struggles to lift the heavy weapon as he wheezes blood.

Ulricha dashes into the room.

Now in the hallway Alice hexes the standing dark figure.

Jorrast waits for an opportunity.

Quince smashes into the blob as the hands and beak rematerialize to strike at Jorne.

Jorne pulls out a scepter and slams it into the ground. With a blur of movement the halberd disappears and is replaced with a black bladed dagger. The scepter begins to glow as the light spell. He continues to do his best to deflect attacks with the hand on his dagger.

Quince:
You know the scepter is a cursed staff from Sulvanii's stash. By losing his health the light will grow in strength. First it will bestow bane on all allies weapons. Next round you will all have holy upon your weapons. Then the staff will begin to spark as he holds on to empower your weapons.

Quince:
It covers the ground with portions of its festering body as it moves, transforming any square it passes through into difficult terrain for 2 rounds, after which the filth evaporates. A creature that passes through or starts its turn in one of these squares must succeed at a DC 18 Reflex save or take 2d6 points of acid damage and become nauseated for 1 round; the nausea effect is a disease effect. A creature can be affected by this acid damage and nauseated condition only once per round. The save DC is Constitution-based.

Septic Wounds Aura (Su) A sepsidaemon radiates an aura that causes wounds to fester. After Jorrast acts the demons say some demonic words, the large one moves its hands. A rune of magic glows on their body. The blue dark warrior and the large demon remain as the others are gone.

The brilliant white and blue flames lick his body as he holds the scepter. Jolts of electricity crackle off of it as well. The light of the scepter is growing, its not daylight yet, but next round it might be. All of your weapons glow with a holy flame.

Looking at the map I don't think I can see any of the enemies. Also, I haven't been hurt. Do I need any saving throws?

Yes, I stated Will Saves but the information stated Fort Saves. I made the needed adjustments.

Rocii for that round took 4 Con damage and 7 Dex damage. I won't go back to previous rounds but you can imagine!

Jorrast you haven't taken any damage this whole fight? Its if you have any lethal damage the aura would take effect.

The demons try to flee using magic. Alice hexes Jorne. Vandomir switches place with Rocii.

I was hurt before this fight but healed up. Evasion and not getting up close and personal has saved me since. (Unless I missed something? I re-read the last few pages... ??

Not seeing any enemy but also not wanting to get in the way Jorrast waits and watches.


Jorne is a little busy focusing on the scepter, the dagger is more for protection. You could walk through his space and attack.

The large enemy is holding a bow in its clawed hands.

There is a dark warrior in armor before Valiard.

Xandarian and Ulricha see the blood stained room. Gore is spread about and the bath looks filled with blood. No other visible threats. But the bath 'eater' begins to bubble.

Xandarian stabs into something.

It pulls itself out of the bath, provoking AoO, and grins at the two of you with its purple glowing eyes looking at a tasty meal. This four-armed fiend has blue-green skin covered in white scars. Xandarian's attack strike home but don't seem to leave any wounds. Ulricha has better luck but even with two good swipes it only has small bleeding wounds.
