J smiles. "Perhaps you're right, but for now, the pupils are safe, which is the most important thing. Thanks once again to the Pathfinder Society. You know, I myself have been known to survive an adventure or two in my youth, and to have an affection for scary stories…"

You have a pleasant morning trading adventuring and ghost stories with J in the tea room.

And then, too tired to stay awake much longer, you take your leave. You walk out into the sun, blinking in the late morning light as you make your way home.

Despite the early hour, Ned looks surprisingly refreshed. "Nothin' like a good night's stroll ta gitcher blood pumpin'! You young'n's mind yer P's an' Q's. I'm gonna see 'bout gittin' muhself some eggs. Maybe some Sanka." He toddles off to the nearest inn for breakfast. "Ayuh. Dang proteans stir up an appetite. Ayuh."

Elissa curtsies to J Dacilane. "It was my pleasure to assist the school and your family name, Mister Dacilane." She smiles brightly. "Besides, I was worried about ghosts but despite that mean dummy and having to look around a couple of bathrooms, it was quite a neat adventure. I'm glad it wasn't just something mundane. Just wait until my family hears about this, they'll be so interested! I'm going to write them right away. I hope the students have a wonderful school year!" she says, excited. "Plus, the possums were cute."

"Do you keep a diary too mister Yuan Wu? I do." Elissa asks curiously. "And, I'm sorry I called you Wu earlier, I didn't realize it was rude. And sorry I said fiddlesticks" she adds with a blush

"Oh, of course I remember, mister Kirath. I'm looking forward to it" she says happily.

"Call me Nyx, Miss Estin." he says with a smile. "If you guys wish to join us, please do." he says to the rest of the party, but not to Nedri (since he's supposed to go).

"Do you have a favorite place that serves these beverages, Nyx?" Elissa asks. "I'm rather new to this city, although it is a fascinating place to be sure."

"I wonder if mister Yuan Wu still has those cookies..."

"Yes I do. Let me take you there." The tavern is where most Pathfinders hang out in Absalom. Nyx makes sure that he doesn't order any rats.

"I wonder if mister Yuan Wu still has those cookies..."

"Oh, oh, yes I do." Yuan Wu produces them, somewhat sheepishly, for the basket is definitely lighter than before.

Elissa snags a cookie and snacks on it happily. "Saving the day makes you hungry. Perhaps the greatest treasure I've ever received"

"When you aren't assisting the school, what do you do Nyx?" Elissa asks curiously.

"I go train. Most of what I do needs me to be in good shape, otherwise I wouldn't function so well. I also study a bit of magic. What about you my lady?"
