Yup. The small ones are almost certainly immune to fire. After separating character knowledge and player knowledge I'm forced to fall back on standard tactics. It's a shame to waste that 20 to hit though.

You take a rest to heal your wounds and begin your way back to report what you learned to Biglock. When you are passing down an alley and from the side you can see a movement...
Soon you see an image of the taleweaver that you are carrying and you hear a voice in your head

See previous post for AoO on the blue one when it tries to fly off with Hobbs.
Feeling the energy rippling through her, Raindrop channels it into the creature bothering her ally and the gravely injured dream thing. She also shares a little love with her companion, who continues his biting and clawing.

With rage and directed spells agents destroy the last of Aslynns sidekicks. When they are gone the drea of doom lifts and you once again feel like you have been walking back fromt eh bazar. After few minutes merchants pass you by wondering why are you standing there with your weapons covered in oddly looking fluids.
After taking rest to recover you head back to Biglock and Zarta
"So what's with the loom? On Torags mighty hammer, what happened to you?"
Feel free to debrief
Aktuh

"Awani built the first taleweaver, which held a power that none has since: the power to make illusion into reality. But as his power to hold the strings of others’ fates grew, Awani became arrogant and selfish. He began to use his power for selfish ends, hindering or even eliminating his academic rivals and those who offended him by using his taleweaver to craft terrible fates for them. While she recounts these events, the illusions created by the taleweaver reenact them around her. Eventually, the taleweaver itself became corrupted from the mage’s greed, and when Awani next tried to call forth creatures to do his bidding, he lost control of the summons and they turned on him instead."
Aktuh pauses to let the words sink in.
"This needs to be studied by the Vigilant Seal."
Raindrop - Iceman
|
"If by 'studied' you mean dismantled," Raindrop giggles.
In an attempt to be serious, she adds, "The loom brought more troubles to life for us to deal with... and then Aislynn's minions showed up in an attempt to claim it. Bad mojo all around."
Dran'Thil
|
The dwarf replies simply to Zarta: Oh, some creatures didn't want to let us pass. We had to cut our way through.
Hobbs Picklesmith
|
"Indeed. We BEAR-ly made it." Hobbs chuckles at his own joke.
