Hello all,
I am recruiting for this scenario as a bit of a memorial for Silbeg who passed away recently. Recruitment will be up for the next week or until such time as we have a decent looking team.
I will not be taking first come first served. This is a complex and potentially quite difficult seeker tier scenario. I will be looking to put together a team clearly within a particular sub tier. I will take up to six players but may not take six as such tables often result in a lot of delay.
Posting expectation is one post per day during the week, less frequent at the weekend. If you cannot commit to that then please dont sign up.
When registering interest please make sure you have a complete character profile. If you are using anything particularly unusual or complex then make sure it is explained.
Note this scenario also has a specific Hard Mode. Hard Mode brings wit it no additional reward, it is designed for players who are looking for a greater challenge. Please indicate if you would like to play on hard mode. The decision to play on Hard Mode must be unanimous.

I would love to play this one with my 13th level herald caller cleric if possible. His entire character sheet is included in his profile. I do have two 15th level options as well if the table swings to the higher tier of play. A 15th level druid and a 15th level wizard.
I can play hard mode or not at the discretion of the table and the GM. I am flexible and excited to play at the seeker level. :)

An elf wanders into the recruitment, flipping through a stack of handwritten notes, before looking at the recruiter. "Oh, hello. I am Lichaam Pisell; scholar, sage, and wizard."
"Your mission summary mentions a demoniac and an assassin. One of my more-recent missions took us into the Abyss to stop a demonic ascension, so I have some experience there. I've also had experience with an assassin, although..." Lichaam looks to his notes awkwardly. "That didn't go so well. "Wanted to prove a point" my coccyx. That was uncalled for."
He clears his throat before getting back on track. "I can give you a full list of my previous missions and accomplishments, if necessary. I do speak dwarven, which could be helpful given the mission's location. Skill-wise, I am well-versed in any knowledge I can find. I am also quite good at diplomacy through logical arguments, though to be fair most of that is sourced from my headband. I have some minor training in traps, though I would much prefer to not be the primary disabler. I keep detect scrying active constantly, along with several other personal enhancements, and can always act in the surprise round. Those near me are somewhat protected from death effects, and hang on to life a little longer. My wizard spell selection tends towards utility and save-based effects rather than direct damage, though I can certainly prepare something else. I believe my spell library to be the largest in the Society."
"I've also studied ancient Thassilonian techniques for enhancing scrolls; several times per day, I can boost their power in various ways. When combined with my UMD bonus, that lets me use most class' scrolls, extracting slightly more power out of them than standard activation techniques while allowing for the occasional additional enhancement."
He seems to run out of steam (and notes) at that point. "Uh... if it helps, the dwarves in the area of the Five Kings Mountains know of me. My first mission with the Society led to the discovery of the Gallery of Wonders, and I still have a few thank-you notes they sent me."
Name: Lichaam Pisell the Risen, Apatite Sage
Level: 13 - wizard (diviner, scroll scholar) 7 / cyphermage 6
PFS#: 53092-4
Faction: Scarab Sages
Hard Mode: No
Chronicles, notes, etc: See this thread (off-site)
Book Wizard built around two things - book, and wizard. Has since branched out into magic items, with a side of diplomacy and a dash of disable device.
All knowledges are at least +26 unbuffed, with some being higher. Also has Linguistics (+30), Diplomacy (+25), UMD (+26-34), Spellcraft (+26), and Perception (+17).
Can't natively handle magic traps, but that's what Aram Zey's Focus is for.
Always casts scrolls at +1 CL. Can sometimes cast scrolls at his own caster level, boost CL checks they require, improve their DC, or do other things.
30' aura of +3 vs death effects and +4 to death-by-negative-hp threshold.

I passed over this game initially because I've already played it & don't typically replay. If you end up needing someone to fill a chair though, I can do so. My available characters are:
* human fighter 10 / bard 2 - primarily melee, don't expect much from their bard side
* half-elf cleric of shelyn 12
* half-elf inquisitor of Asmodeus 14
Looking at the existing party, I'd guess the fighter fits the best

Since Korin will be a seeker in 17 hours I figure I can post him.
Name: Korin Rosenthal
Level: Id Rager/Steelblood Bloodrager 1 + Bonded Investigator/Mastermind Investigator 11
PFS #: 2411798-4
Faction: the Exchange
Hard Mode: No
"You're a seeker now sir, the mission board for you will be on that side of the room from now on." "Oh Okay, got it. Thanks."
A figure in full plate holding a bec de corbin approach the group, and bow to the more senior/experienced seekers. "Greetings.I am Korin Rosenthal, your newest 'recruit". I am a 'witcher' by trade, so I utilize alchemical creations to help me slaying monsters. I know a thing or two about most monsters, but I personally find monstrous humanoid most fascinating, and I like to borrow their form or strength in battle. I also enjoy logical arguments as well."Korin smiles to Lichaam while a arbiter inevitable climbs out of the familiar satchal, "And this is my little helper Quidditch, he knows how to tinker with magical devices. "
"A demoniac and an assassin you said? Could be some old 'friends' of the Society. When it comes to 'persuading' people from harrasing the Society, I have observed that beating them with a big stick works quite well. Speak softly and carry a big stick, that's where I'm at." he put his adamantine Bec de Corbin across his shoulder, "Anyway, it's a pleasure to meet you all."

A tall, beautiful elven male appears as if from nowhere. He is clad in osirion-style desert robes. Perched upon his shoulder is a tiny dragon, no bigger than a housecat, its scales black as midnight. Shadows shift and swirl about, clinging to the elf...
Professor Emeritus Quenlariel Saelgwath, Jacinth Sage and Lorekeeper, at your service a smooth voice announces, although neither elf not dragon speaks aloud. You may call me Quenly.
I have mercantile dealings with the dwarves of the Five Kings Mountains. And plentiful experience in handling the Society's enemies.
Name: Quenly aka Quenlariel Saelgwath, the Jacinth Sage
Level: Oracle (Ancient Lorekeeper, Dark Tapestry mystery) 13
PFS#: 75577-2
Faction: Scarab Sages
Hard Mode: Preferably not
Chronicles, notes, etc: see below
Quenly is a bag of tricks. Here's a summary:
Quenly is built around the the Many Forms revelation. He sometimes uses it for utility of movement, sometimes for melee combat. He is able to cast many spells whilst shapechanged (not his level 6 spells though, so no Heal). Some of the more interesting forms have powerful breath weapons. (Many Forms functions as Greater Polymorph, Quenly's effective level for the Revelation is boosted by the elf favoured class bonus and a magic item).
Quenly knows both Silence and Deeper Darkness, and is not impaired by either spell. Of course, the likelihood is that these spells could impair his allies, so this trick is very situational. (Incidentally Quenly is OK at stealth, and has the Vanish spell too.)
Quenly uses shadow conjuration to copy the Draconic Ally spell. This gives him a long duration translator/interpreter and sensor. The Ally has blindsense and telepathy. Quenly normally chooses to use the nightmare dragon variety of ally, which gains See in Darkness.
This spell gets its own little note. The spell (range=touch) means that Quenly uses a level 3 spell slot and an ally casts a spell of level 3 or below without losing that spell or slot. Quenly loves to get Heroism from a party member using this. Depending on the situation, Quenly may be willing to use multiple slots to allow a particular buff to be spread around multiple party members.
Quenly has only a smattering of knowledges, but has max ranks in History which is a specialism of his (being an Ancient Lorekeeper and a Scarab Sage it seemed apt). However, he has a few tricks up his sleeve thanks to a spell and a couple of choice magic items. Page-bound Epiphany generates up to a +10 circumstance bonus over 11 rounds, so is good for out-of-combat knowledge checks in a subject Quenly is trained in. Quenly's Scholar's Ring gives a nice +5 competence bonus to Know: History and allows a Legend Lore once per 5/days about a subject that Quenly has used the ring's competence bonus on in the last week. Lastly, the gruesome Lore Needle allows Quenly to apply his Know: History bonus to 3 other knowledge skill checks per day.
Quenly has a similar aura of "don't die yet" to Lichaam. He's adventured with Helgar once before.

A hooded elf quietly walks in with another, younger elf in tow, the latter burdened with a briefcase, a satchel and a heavy bag.
The older elf briefly looks up to Eadie and Lichaam in recognition, then looks back down, his younger assistant rapidly trying to note something down in a notebook.
Interested as well with this psychic 12; not interested hard mode. Thanks for offering to GM!

To answer the questions in your Mythweavers profile:
Arcane Bond doesnt care where your spellbooks are.
Recovering an item from a Haversack takes a move action so doesnt work with Swift Scroll.
Analyse Scroll wouldn't work for Emulate an Ability Score or any other part of UMD except for the Activate a scroll check.
You can Take 10 on Knowledge checks outside of combat.

Looking at everyone's saves, I almost regret spending so much gold at lower levels to copy everyone's spellbooks. Could really use an extra +1 on the cloak while I'm saving up for the luckstone.
Looks like we have lots of elves. The Society's relationship with Kyonin must improved quite alot recently. Korin is a half-elf, does that count as 0.5 elf?
Lichaam's last game was three elves, two half-elves, a lion, and an aasimar. Sooooo many pointed ears.

Noted. Thanks.
Not the best, but not the worst. Will probably want to shuffle scroll locations, then (still some only-useful-at-low-levels scrolls in cases).

As Korin is my first Seeker character, I will won't be replaying.
Please make sure there is a character sheet within your profile.

Will do that ASAP. Have GM duties tonight and a cross-time zone multi-table special that I need to stay up all night for, so will probably get it completed around Sunday.

Hello all,
Many thanks for your interest in this game. I have decided against taking replaying players for this scenario. The group will be:
Eadie - Fighter 13
Yanndu - Psychic 12
Korin - Investigator/Bloodrager 12 (subject to sheet review)
Lichaam - Wizard 13
Quenly - Oracle 13
With an APL of 12.6 you will be playing low tier. We WILL NOT be playing on hard mode.
Please let me have your character information on RPG Chronicles. If you would rather not provide your information publicly you can DM it to me here.
We will use Roll20 for maps and handouts as I find it a lot easier than fiddling about with Google slides. We wont use Roll20 for anything else, such as dice rolling, that will all occur on the Forums.
I have set up some blank character sheets in the Handouts tab under PC Sheets. Please upload a token onto one of these sheets. If you need help let me know and I can sort it for you.
I aim for us to start by this coming Wednesday. My general posting expectation is once per day, excluding weekends. I would like to keep us moving fairly quickly.
