I can't compete with that, but I do have a fever and a head that feels like an overinflated balloon.

Who is not immune to evil damage? This usually affects Good aligned people and creatures with an explicit Good weakness.
Estes, being an angel, can certainly be damned by these devil's attacks, but I don't know about the rest of you.

Sorry about those rolls, Estes. You are a fantastic double edged sword, but Green kept rolling high against you. I'm pretty sure you can't get close enough to Green without provoking.
Note that Estes is dying with persistent damage.
Under >Counteract< rules, you need a DC 21 check. The counteract level is rank 3.
Casters use their spellcasting ability bonus to counter. If you're using a skill, use your relevant skill modifier (I think that's your Medicine skill check bonus.)

How would it work if one was to use 2 actions to attempt to stop someone's bleeding, following the rules for assisted recovery from persistent damage?
A medicine check to see if it counts as'effective help' to reduce the DC?
There wouldn't be much point doing it if it just have another dc20 flat check, but these barbazu wounds seem to have a lot of special rules to prevent testing them, so I'd assume that just using the two actions is not enough :-)

Spending multiple actions to reduce the Flat DC to 15 for 1 round sounds fine to me. The counteract rules specify a spell or item effect of some kind. Emergency First Aid doesn't really fall into either category.

I think Shayla will take Medicine for a skill next level... I try to make my characters not be medics all the time but it's really hard not to have more than one healer in each party! :)

Yeah... I end up with some sort of healing on nearly every single character as well, even when not initially planning to... I just miss it too much when in a group with limited healing.
Looks like we have plenty of healing options in this group though :-)
