DM Blayde MacRonan's Of Aeons and Giants: The Still Continuing Adventures of Team Ruby (Private Campaign, Closed Recruitment)

Game Master Blayde MacRonan

In search of powerful weapons to wield against the Storm Tyrant, the members of Team Ruby and their allies followed a map found in the lair of the hill giant chieftain Grenseldek, which led them to the tomb of legendary giantslayer Nargrym Steelhand. Armed with weapons of legend, the adventurers then continued into the treacherous Mindspin Mountains in search of the valley where the Storm Tyrant is recruiting giants for his army. Having snuck past the legions of giants inhabiting the winding valley, the heroes made their way to the horde's headquarters—an ancient temple dedicated to the giant god Minderhal. Once there, they must awaken a mighty artifact and disband the mustering army before the giants can be unleashed on the world!

This closed campaign (which is the continuation of two previous installments of the ongoing Team Ruby series which started on these forums) uses the Pathfinder 1st Edition ruleset, and as such, makes use of the following optional rules: automatic bonus progression at +2 level, consolidated group skills, consolidated skills ,staggered advancement, and wound thresholds.

Characters were built using 20-point buy, with no score being lower than 8 (other than through racial stat adjustments). Level progression is done using the medium table for experience (default). Paizo material allowed (unchained classes are standard) as were 3PP from Dreamscarred Press, Kobold Press (spell-less ranger standard), Legendary Games, and Rogue Genius Games. Characters also started with two traits, of which one had to be a Giantslayer campaign trait.

Finally, we're using a different kind of critical hit system, one derived from the mind of Sean K. Reynolds for use in his Five Moons RPG.
