Azalmak tries to climb the fence but doesn’t find any good handholds. He thinks if someone gave him a boost up, he could likely make it. Failure, but not by that much. Try again and maybe get someone to Aid you.

Cara calls on Sarenrae and deals with most of the frostbite caused by the brown mold.

Evelyn swifty climbs the fence, and grabs Azalmak to help him pass over it.

Quick, we need to open that fence. If there's an heavy bar, remove it. If there's a kind of lock, leave it to me.

Evelyn is successful in climbing over the fence.

Evelyn can see the bar holding the gate closed. She expects that she is strong enough to be able to remove it from the gate. Makes sense, she is stronger than most goblins.

Anyone else want to do something as Evelyn is climbing or helping Azalmak climb over?

Gaius will use his Wand of CLW to heal anyone steal dealing with NL damage; that will take 1 round of actions. Then he'll activate his Wand of Divine Favor the 2nd round.

Gaius uses his wants to heal Azalmak as Evelyn climbs the fence. It completely heals him. Putting that wand away, he pops out his other wand and uses it.

With his mace in hand, John walks confidently toward one of the campfires, all the while keeping an eye out for source of the noise.
Perception to Search: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12

Cracking John sees that this small practice yard is surrounded by a crudely made metal fence and several small wooden buildings. Mud and morass cover the ground, and the sickly sweet stench of decay hangs heavy in the air. A rusting metal gate blocks the entrance to a cave to the northwest, while a second gate leads to the southeast. In the center of the yard, a stubby rectangular building sits upon a roughly hewn stone foundation. A crude depiction of a three-eyed face decorates its door.

The sounds were being made by a hound of some sort in the kennel to the west. It starts growling and barking at the sight of John. The gate on the kennel area is closed.

Suddenly there is a shout in the goblin tongue right near Evelyn.

Once he can see it, Gaius will realize that the hound is another goblin dog. This is probably the mother to the pups you saw earlier. Judging from the fur, it is alfflicted by Demon Bile as well.

Goblin dogs have fur that causes an allergic reaction. You have seen it enough to know that the Demon Bile makes a creature resistant to fire and cold damage.

Cracking John 1 NL 3 damage

Grand Lodge

female human cleric 3, HP 25, AC/T/FF 19/11/18, F/R/W +5/+4/+7, Init +1, Perc +6

Cara follows the goblin and traps it between John and herself.

attack, CI, flank: 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 + 2 = 71d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

SD...these low rolls are all your fault...

It's true, I took all the high rolls for myself. ;)

Gaius fires two more arrows at Fleaza the Skeeza!

MW Composite Longbow (+1 Str), Rapid Shot, PBS, Divine Favor: 1d20 + 5 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 5 + 1 + 2 = 161d8 + 1 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 1 + 1 + 2 = 5

MW Composite Longbow (+1 Str), Rapid Shot, PBS, Divine Favor: 1d20 + 5 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 5 + 1 + 2 = 241d8 + 1 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 1 + 1 + 2 = 12

Although Cara misses, Gaius is able to hit Leeza with one of his arrows and that is enough to drop her.

With the whole group now focused on Purple, it is quickly defeated. It fought to the death, but that didn’t take very long.

Leeza has a masterwork shortsword and a single alchemist’s fire. Her chain shirt is dirty, but usable if only you had someone that small.

The other goblins don’t have anything of significant value.

— Repeating description of courtyard —

This small practice yard is surrounded by a crudely made metal fence and several small wooden buildings.

— description of kennel —

The interior of this squat, wooden kennel is filled with hay and stinking excrement. A door leads to the east.

I would suggest someone draw arrows to indicate the order you will investigate the buildings when you are ready to proceed.

I hope someone has the skill & experience to draw the arrows. My attempts to draw on maps has been, shall we say, not good. :( I think we should start farthest from the main building and go clockwise until we end up at the front of it.

@GM: Taking 10 on Gaius's Perception for an 18.

I drew a series of arrows based on my interpretation of Gaius' suggestion, starting with the top right corner of the map. If that works for everyone, let's get started

Looks good and we should check for traps after the brown mold.
