Yeah: Cascading Rapids failing the Phantom Pain to start (and as importantly, having bad luck with the Flat checks), plus the div nat 20ing initiative definitely got things off to an ominous start. And being at near-max CP for this tier meant plenty of other combatants - whihc in turn means the combat dragged longer and meant more and more pillar blasts.
Still, you managed to pull through in the end with some nice teamwork! Hopefully in the end it'll be more of a 'great story for the PCs to recall' than a frustrating one

A grim start for sure but the tides turned thanks to that healing and buffs outlasting the damage. Once the added zombies were down we could pile on the div.
I really, really enjoyed the game. I haven't really played this character in a long time and enjoyed the 'restart'. Junior will be here to stay.
Junior also has expensive tastes and enjoys luxury, he often passes some minor relics on through his contacts after his missions...
