this is precisely the reason I had a bounty last a whole month last Gameday.. everyone was fighting 2 creatures that can hide and were having one heck of a time finding them... until I made a bad hide roll and it was game over after that! :)

Indeed, this scenario is already a bit on the longer side everytime it is ran and has some tough fights but is is a great scenario. One of my favorites.

If I sustain clinging Ice do I deal damage each turn or just extend the duration of the speed penalty?

I would think it would require a new save each round with damage to determine the effect as long as you sustain.

I don't believe you are allowed to damage other PCs without their permission and would have to choose another action if they don't all agree.
I do give permission to damage Ra'uf, though.

Anytime. This scenario always runs a bit long due to the investigative nature and having to survive up to 8 rounds on the final fight which is a difficult boss.
