Talienda Blackhorn |

Talienda squirms as the questions about Alina come. She should have kept her mouth shut. Every time she speaks, she just makes things more complicated for herself. Thankfully, Ceru came to her rescue and she tries to see what she can glean from the crowd and to see if she can find the men the gnomish cook mentioned.

Kimberly rubs her chin while considering Ceru’s question. “I’m really not sure. I will ask and let you know. I believe, if he has room on the ship, it’s probably ok.”
Katrina continues to take orders and then glances around when Dario begins asking questions about the sailor. After taking stock of the man, she leans in and whispers, “I haven’t seen him before." She shrugs and then continues. "I suppose I can say that about most of the people here.”
Once the last order has been taken, Katrina flips her pamphlet closed and then heads over to the cook’s window. Meanwhile, a couple young boys make rounds, filling empty steins and clearing tables.
Before long, Katrina returns with the food, which includes multiple plates of backed fish, fresh steamed greens, and a large baked potato. The fish, backed with a thick garlic butter, looks to be a variant of cod. Its meat is fluffy and rich with trails of butter-sauce running down its veins. The salted greens, which rest alongside the fish, have been steamed to the point that they are soft to the touch. The potatoes, served on a separate plate, have been spit down the middle and fluffed to the point that they spill over onto the dish. Separate condiments, like butter, sour cream, lemon, and chives, have been carefully placed around the table for easy access. Finally, the houses special pickle flavored tart-sauce, finds its way to the center of the table.
Characters with employment at the “Rusty Flagon” in their background, don’t recall seeing the older sailer around. As fare as you can tell, he’s new to the area.

Later, during your meal, Kimberly leaves and approaches Sheila with your questions. You can see her from across the room discussing the situation in length. On more than one occasion, she points over at your table and then continues with the conversation. Before long, she heads back over to your table. “I’ve spoken with Sheila about the mule and the seventh passenger. She seems to think there is more than enough room for both and has agreed to pick up the extra fair. So, everything should be ok.” After her statement, she lays a second voucher down on the table for the mule and the extra person. “Give that to the captain and you should be good to go.”
I’m going to give everyone this evening to RP and address anything you would like to do for this night. I’m going to push things forward to the following morning either late tonight, or tomorrow afternoon. Let me know if you require more time than that.

Dario eventually returned to his companions and shared the information he found out about the sailor.
See spoiler in above post by GM for the information

Ceru |

Wayilant leans forward to address the gnome. "Ceru. How important is the pack mule to your.. operations?"
"He carries my alchemy and cooking supplies. Which are for me one and the same. I'm unfortunately a little too small to carry it all on my own. I expect he may also come in handy on a rescue mission, especially if we find the missing people and they are injured. He can carry them. Or if all is well, he can carry lots of loot."
When Kimberly returns with the good news that taking Gary will not be a problem, she gushes with thanks and takes the voucher and stows it in one of the many pockets in her overalls.

Ionatan Deverin |

"Kat? I didn't see it on the menu, but if you have any of the rasberry ale, the team deserves to taste something proper."
----
"As enticing as it sounds, the problem with the Divine Three-Way is HOW enticing it sounds. While we will be for hire, I don't EXPECT we'll be putting out a red lantern?"
----
Looking over to Nat, Wayilant says, "We'll do our best to find your kin, Ionatan. Cayden be with us!" And raises his mug toward his fellow caydenite.
"Bah! Let him run have his own adventures! Let US follow his example, and find a way to win the day, regardless of what may come."
----
"Don't look, but there's some grizzled looking seamen types studying who's signing up for what. The one human with the fabulous white beard has walked by us like five times. I don't know if they're just one of the sailors on the ships going to these different locations assessing their potential passengers... or they're looking for someone..."
"Oh, there are so many things he could be doing . . .. He is most likely spying on our host and her business. Sure, we should pay attention, in case anything comes up, but the Pathfinders are a big group, she probably expects opposition from somebody."
----
"So, they show up in time for this event, and instead of participating they slink around the edges spying? Yeah, we should tell our host in case she is unaware the opposition has arrived." Ionatan will look about for Lady Heidmarch.

After passing on the information to Kimberly, she heads over to Sheila and relays your concerns. Shortly after that, you see Sheila walk over to a pair of heavily armed men and begin a conversation. During the conversation you see her point at the white bearded sailor just before the men begin heading his direction. It doesn’t take long before the sailor is escorted out of the establishment.
In respect of your recent commitment, everyone’s room and board have generously been provided by the Pathfinder Society. The rooms, although not rich, are kept clean and have a fairly new bed. The wash basins and tubs have been deeply cleaned and can be filled, upon request, with heated water. Each independent room has a securable hardwood door that has recently been upgraded with iron inlays. Clean, freshly scented linens have been laid out across your bed, leaving the room with a light fruity smell. Before long, you bed down for the night.

The night passes peacefully, with very little activity taking place while you sleep. Dreams, both good and bad, frequent your thoughts as you drift deeply into slumber. Then it happens!
“ERRRRrrrr, er ERrrrrr, er ERrrrrrrrrrr!” The sound of a nearby roster cries out, alerting EVERYONE that the crack of dawn has arrived. You fight to regain your sleep, and actually manage to drift off a little, before it happens again.
“ERRRRrrrr, er ERrrrrr, er ERrrrrrrrrrr!” Your fairly sure that wasn't the same rooster.
Soon another rooster calls out. “ERRRRrrrr, er ERrrrrr, er ERrrrrrrrrrrr!” And another. “ERRRRrrrr, er ERrrrrr, er ERrrrrrrrrrrr!”
Soon you realize there will be no winning this battle and resign to waking up. Once awake, you begin preparing for the day ahead. After all, the voucher did say early morning, right? “ERRRRrrrr, er ERrrrrr, er ERrrrrrrrrrrr!” As the dueling rosters continue, you begin to wonder if their placement was intentional. It would be a clear way to motivate guests to vacate their rooms bright and early in the morning.
After gathering your gear, you meetup with the rest of the group in the Rusty Flagon’s open dining area. Although the establishment isn’t open yet, the staff seem buzzy preparing the morning meal for the inn’s residing guests.
If theres anything anyone would like to do before heading to Sandpoint, let me know.

Wayilant Arden |

The cleric wakes to the cacophony of cocks. Wayilant gets out of bed to pour some of his applejack into a tankard. The caydenite then sits down and prays for his clerical spells for the day. Afterward, Wayilant offers a toast to Cayden Cailean, extolling the virtues of his deity. The cleric then drinks the applejack down. "Ahhh-men."
Wayilant then washes up for the day and takes out his grooming kit to trim his beard and nose hairs, combs his hair, deodorizes his armpits, then gets dressed and leaves his room.
-------
Wayilant Arden, cleric of Cayden Cailean, goes downstairs to greet the day, his fellow teammates of The Flagon Slayers, and his new adventure.
"If I felt any better, I'd be dangerous", the aasimar says to himself, giving a comely waitress a wink as she passed.

Bryndís Raelyosradinsdóttir |

It isn't difficult for Bryndís to be up and where she needs to be on time, even a little early. She is used to caravan travel, where schedules need to be kept and daylight can't be wasted. Gathering her possessions requires no more than stuffing a few things that aren't in her pack back into it, and picking up her spear. she doesn't carry it around normally due to it's unwieldy length.
She eats quickly and waits impatiently for the rest of her group to be ready to go board the ship.

Ionatan Deverin |

One eye cracks open, followed by the other and then a cautious turning of the head, taking in the surroundings. The sounds and smells are wrong for this to be his own bed, after all. Didn't drink much last night at all, and I took a room at the inn, so I _should_ be alone in here . . .. Seeing his expectations met, Ionatan rolls out of bed and begins preparing for the day. Doesn't really take long.
Heading to the open room, he greets his new companions as he sees them. "Mornin', Bry! Last night's fish should be a good soup this morning, I think, with some bread to soak the broth. I'm sure they'll have some fresh bread, but I always find having the bread a little stale gets it to soak the broth better, ya know? I wonder how long the others will take?"
"Oh, wow! Thank you for bringing in some of the raspberry so quickly! Bry, you've got to try this. It is the most famous of the family brews. Just a little sweet, and no real pointless bite."
A while later Wayilant finishes his morning preparations and joins them. "Way! Come, come. They grabbed some of the Raspberry Ale last night. Really nice start to the day, with the rest of breakfast, of course."

Wayilant can't help but smile at the Deverin generosity. "That is very kind of you, my good sir. Thank you very much!"
As both caydenites pour the special raspberry ale, the cleric toasts the swashbuckler."To Cayden! To Ionatan! To House Deverin! And the the successful completion of our adventure!"
Both men taps cups and drink.

The bard woke to the crowing of the roosters and quickly performed his ablutions. He took a moment to offer a quick prayer to Desna before stretching and going through his Kapenia forms.
Finally, his hunger got the better of him and he made his way to the common room. ”Something smells good,” he observed before taking a seat.

With the group assembled and enjoying the morning meal, it becomes easy to see how a life of comfort could be appealing to some people. The rain, which fluctuated most the night, still seems persist this morning. The overhead clouds continue to blot out the morning sun, leaving a canopy of darkness that shadows the entire area.
After everyone enjoys a free morning meal, the time comes to seek out the Monte Cristo. Without delay, the group steps out from under the patio cover of the Rusty Flagon Inn and then begins heading down the walkway. The Monte Cristo is supposed to be close by, and by your estimate, you make it about halfway when the sailor with the white beard steps out from behind a building with two other men. They quickly move over to a small two-person ramp that intersects the dock. From what you can determine, passing over the ramp looks like the only way forward. Moments later, a couple seedier looking men step out from behind a different building. Soon, a couple more step out from behind a nearby cargo pile.
“So, you think your little interference back at the inn last night was funny?” The man with the white beard says from behind two of his companions. “Well see how funny you think it is when we get done with you!” After making his last statement, he walks over to a small rowboat and then climbs down into it. “FINISH THEM! BRING ME ANY PAPERWORK YOU FIND AND TRY NOT TO KILL THE DEVERIN! We need that fool alive.” He announces to his men as he begins rowing down the harbor.

Yay, our first encounter. I have updated a battle map in our maps file with tokens for the group, I will add a mule in there tonight, but don’t think it will be involved in this particular encounter. The maid and cat are represented here seeing the encounter happened while the group was relocating. I will give it a day or so, before starting round (1). This will allow everyone time to place their tokens where they want. A question for everyone. When rolling initiative, do you prefer independent initiative, or a single roll for the bad guys. Single roll speeds the round by quicker, you go then they go etc., but presents the possibility of being hit multiple times back-to-back. Oh, one last thing. Check the map and make sure everyone can move their token around.

Bryndís Raelyosradinsdóttir |

Of course Bryndís stops walking when she finds the way forward blocked by a bunch of armed men. For a moment she thinks it is a robbery. But, such a thing would be strange. It is fully daylight and they are a well armed, large group, not easy and quiet pickings for wharf rats.
Bryndís hadn't paid much attention to the 'strange men about' episode the previous evening. She hadn't really considered it their business. The Rusty Flagon had it own security after all. So, when the white-bearded man starts talking about it, she is not sure she is understanding the ins and outs. However, she does understand one very important thing; they are stupid. If their goal was to kill them, take their papers, and grab the Deverin; they should have already been in among them without a word, killing.
Using the extra moments to take a look all around, Bryndís finds her mind put at ease. When the white-bearded man has finished talking and starts toward a boat, Bryndís tilts her head and grins broadly and calls after him.
"So you issue a challenge and then run away? Other people are supposed to have the spine to stand and fight us for you when you do not? You are a bad leader. If I was one of your people, I would kill you now and take your place because you do not deserve it."
"I tell you now that I will remember your face. After we have killed the men you have abandoned here, I will find you and kill you also, in my own time as it pleases me."

As soon as she finishes chastising white-beard, Bryndís starts moving.
"Dario! Ionatan! Hold our front! Move back as you can, make the line narrow! I will handle the rear!"
She turns and hustles back, on past Ceru. Dropping her spear into a horizontal position, she thrusts its point at the man closest to her. She keeps her spear level, covering the zone around her and daring the attackers there to approach closer.
Starting Rage, +4 to strength. Move 25' to position indicated on the map. Attack on Lt. Green(?), or the one threatened with reach as standard action.
Attack (Reach): 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 4 + 2 = 17
Damage: 1d8 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14
What I'm proposing is for Dario and Ionatan to move back as far as they can and hold attacks to make against enemies that approach within range. Everyone move back about 10 to 15 feet as they can by initiative and when they have room. With so many enemies we need to create bottlenecks to limit the number that can get to us at the same time. Bryndís will handle the two at the back with Wayilant and Ceru. Bryndis should be able to pick up an AoO if the ones behind move in on the rear. When they are down, we will reposition to help up front.

Ionatan casually draws his rapier and examines the blade as the threats and conversation unfold. He sounds bored as he starts. "Yes, by all means, SAVE the Deverin! You never know how much his uncle will pay for him, by the PIECE." The last word sounded far more angry than might have been expected. Until you think about what was said.
"Now, as for your poorly conceived effort to delay us on our journey . . .. Caused by you being too stupid not to get caught, as we didn't do anything about it, THEN. You seem to have decided that you'll force us to do something now, though. And we'll oblige. We will spill blood until these fools realize they really didn't want to try to stop us in the first place." And he drones ON and ON about how pointless this is and how it won't end well, etc., until somebody actually triggers his readied action.
After taking his strike . . ..
"Now, didn't anyone tell you it isn't polite to interrupt a monologue? I don't CARE how boring it is, the interruption is STILL rude."

Talienda Blackhorn |

The others find Talienda downstairs with Echo, both of whom look more like scolded schoolgirls than an adventurer and her cat about to go out on their first one. With them is a second young woman with freckles and a face that looks like it is far more used to laughter and smiles than the scowl she wears as she looks over each of the other members of The Flagon Slayers
"Hello, I'm Alina, Lady Talienda's keeper, as she doesn't seem capable of keeping herself out of trouble," she says, obviously not trusting anyone.
Reaction to combat starting
As the order to kill them is given, both Talienda and Alina go pale. Echo shifts uneasily in Talienda's arms as the thugs close in.
"Why are they trying to kill us," Alina asks, her voice cracking as the fear takes hold.

Ionatan Deverin |

Nope. Not liking that tone AT ALL.

Talienda Blackhorn |

Alina shakes her head and starts to talk when Ionatan cuts her off. Her face reddens, but Talienda beats her to the punch.
"Mister Io, I would appreciate it if you didn't speak to Alina that way. She's my-- my maid and confidant. I did not wish to worry her, so I came down last night on my own while I knew she would be away. My actions last night do not reflect on her skill or dedication. Am I clear, Mister Io," the young noblewoman says in a cold voice.
Alina glances at Talienda, her eyes widening a little. She turns her attention back to the rest of the group and gives a slight bow.
"Forgive my rudeness. If Lady Talienda trusts you enough to accompany you, then I shall do my best to extend you the same courtesy. I did not mean any offense," Alina says before turning a slight glower Talienda's way. "Though, I do wish that my lady had informed me of her plans before going through all of this."
The bite in Alina's voice melts the iciness Talienda had affected and has her properly chastened again.

Ceru is extremely busy at the breakfast table, cutting her fruit and mixing in honey to get the exact balance of tartness and sweetness, and then if she can find some cream for some richness...
She looks up from an increasingly elaborate bowl of fruit salad only well after the exchanges have begun to fly.
Wispy purple eyebrows fly upward, and ears flatten. "Wait, wait!! Why is everyone so mad? You can't fight, you won't digest your breakfast properly! Oh! Good morning, it's Alina, isn't it? I'm Ceru. Oh Io, what is wrong?"
Later that morning, on the streets
"Interference? Oh mister, you got it all wrong! I just said I thought you were looking for somebody." She pauses. Perhaps this will help, and it is the truth. "And that you had a fabulous beard..."
But as things devolve swiftly into violence, she gulps and prepares to defend herself...

After the man with the white-beard orders the unprovoked attack, Dario moves up, drawing his starknife and prepares to strike. Ionathan adjusts his position while spewing endless monologue and then draws his blade. Once in position, he prepares to strike. The priest Wayilant calls out to Cayden Cailean to bless his new friends in combat. Almost immediately, an inspirational feeling erupts throughout the entire group. (50” radius) Bryndis moves to the back of the group, lowers her long spear, and then thrusts it towards one of the seedy looking men. (Lt. Green) The tip of her weapon finds its mark and dives deep into the man’s sternum. As the shaft forces its way through, the man topples over while taking in a single gasp for air.
The man with the white beard continues to row down the harbor. “An extra fifty gold for anyone who brings me the fat woman’s head!” he exclaims just before moving out of view. A dark-bearded, dirty-looking sailor moves around what looks like a rotting fence and then steps over to Dario. Prepared for the company, Dario drives his starknife forward, digging deeply into the man's midsection. Blood erupts as the dirty-looking man screams out in pain. With renewed vigor, the scruffy character lunges forward with a thin, rusty-looking rapier. Being quick on his feet, Dario manages to easily dodge the inept attack.

"Get behind me, Tali," Alina yells as things go pear-shaped. Talienda doesn't argue as Alina yanks her dagger from the sheathe at her hip and scrambles between two stacks of crates to give herself some cover. Alina steps in front of Talienda as Echo hops down and hides behind one of the stacks.
Sparks of energy flicker and crackle on Talienda's fingertips as she and Alina look at the unfolding melee.
"I have no idea why that man wants us dead," Talienda tells Alina as she tries to work out how she can help without putting herself and Alina into danger.
Ceru's interruption gives the pair of young women a chance to recover from Ionatan's tongue lashing and recompose themselves.
"Please, Master Io," Alina says, stepping between Ionatan and Talienda. "My lady and I have endured much recently, and it has frayed our nerves. She only wished to stick up for me. I apologize for my earlier rudeness."
Talienda sighs before curtseying to Ionatan and bowing her head.
"Forgive me and my forward servant. As she says, we have been through much recently, and I am afraid that it has caused us to forget our manners."
Apologies given, Alina then turns to Ceru.
"Good morning and well met, I am indeed Alina. It is a pleasure to meet you."
"I think everything is fine now," Talienda assures the gnome. "Do you mind if we join you? That is looking delicious." She gestures to the magnificent fruit salad being constructed while she and Alina were getting off to a rocky start with Ionatan.

Ceru |

Ceru looks puzzled. "Punishment? For arguing? Did she break a law?" She's not dumb, our Ceru, and she knows offense has been taken more than legal violation, but she seems genuinely bemused nonetheless.
As all express interest in the fruit, she brightens. "Yes, yes, please have some!" She also reaches for a small bowl and pours in some cream and hands it to Tali. "For Echo."

Talienda and her cat quickly dart behind a stack of rough looking crats, sending a few nearby rats scurrying under the stack. Talienda’s maid, Alina, grabs a sharp double-edged dagger from Talienda’s belt and takes up a defensive position in front of the crats.
A short, dark-haired elf (Purple) quickly moves over next to Ionatan with a crude looking rapier. Ionatan, seizing an opportunity, springs forward from his prepared stance and drives his Dark-iron rapier into the elf’s chest. With a grunt, the elf slides off the blade and topples limply to the ground. Immediately after the elf falls, a swashbuckling guy (Yellow) moves out from around the building and over next to Ionatan and Dario. His floppy hat bounces in the rain as he lunges towards Ionatan with a rapier. The other man (Turquoise), who you have seen at the inn, quickly moves forward while swinging a scimitar at Ionatan. “He said alive, not uninjured. I have a bandage for you when we are done.” He growls as he puts his weight into the blade, bringing it into an overextended downward swing. Fortunately, the swashbuckler is agile and manages to duck both attacks. Finally, The elf's companion, a tall long bearded man (Lt. Blue), dashes around the nearby pill of crates and barrels towards Bryndis. After eyeing the long reach of her spear, he stops just shy of its deadly tip.

If Ceru at 3 feet tall can take a 5 foot step to stand under the table next to her, she will (not sure if it's like a writing desk or a standing desk a harbor worker would use to keep a ledger). If not she'll just stay put.
Ceru pulls out her shortbow and aims at the sailor in Dark Blue.

Small correction. I didn’t realize that Ionatan’s Opportune Perry goes off before the results of the attack are known. That being the case, the panache was used and Turquise was parried and skewered.
After a close look, I think the table resembles a pick-nick table. Ceru would fit. After retrieving her small bow, Ceru takes aim and plinks the rough looking guy (Blue) standing towards the back of the group in the knee with a small arrow. The arrow lodges itself deep in the man’s right knee, sending him into a fit of curses. He looks angrily at the gnome as she ducks under a nearby table.
With rage in his watery eyes, the rough-looking man. (Blue) carefully move up to Bryndis, trying not to catch the deadly point of her spear. He then lunges his rapier forward in an attempt to jab Bryndis in the face, which she quickly ducks. Meanwhile, a much better dressed fellow (Black) moves up over the small, rickety wooden fence and jabs at Dario with a clean looking rapier. Dario quickly shifts his weight and manages to avoid the strike.

Dario begins moving back and forth to a rhythm that only he can imagine. The swaying movement becomes so fluid that it literally weaves into his combat style. In one fluid motion, he sways to his right while bringing his blade forward into a powerful thrust. The blade distinctly finds its mark, as it slides through the man’s (Pink) throat. Without interrupting his rhythm, Dario withdraws his blade, allowing the man’s limp body to slump to the ground. After making an offer to end the fight, Ionatan makes a short jab with his rapier at the swashbuckler with the floppy hat. (Yellow) Being slightly distracted by Dario’s unusual combat style, he manages to nick the man’s hat, but nothing more. After recovering from the attack, Ionatan snaps back into form, and then prepares for an incoming attack. Slightly behind the frontline, the Cadydenite Wayilant, draws his blade and joins the fight. After making eye contact with the long-bearded man, (Lt. Blue) he steps forward and then thrusts his rapier through the man’s right shoulder, just missing his throat by inches. On the opposite side of the group, Bryndis, showing no mercy, thrusts her giant spear through the rough looking man’s (Blue) midsection. Much like the other sailor, he slides off the spear and onto the ground.

Round 2
Talienda
- Standard: Cast Mage Hand, Trying to aid Wayilant's next attack against Lt. Blue with it.
Alina
- Standard: Ready action to attack anyone that threaten's Talienda or herself
Echo
- Full: Hide!
As the fight continues, Talienda looks from her hand to where the others are fighting. She sighs, frustrated as she can't bring herself to attack them with lethal intent. She holds out her hand as if she were holding a paintbrush and traces a rune in the air. It glows blue-white in the shade for a moment as the young sorceress sings a note. A ghostly hand appears behind the bandit facing Wayilant and goes to grab his hair and yank him off balance.

After summoning forth a hand of pure blue-white energy, Talienda sends the slow-moving hand towards the long-bearded man, (Lt.Blue) who observes the effect and simply avoids it. (Aid Another fails, no bonus granted.) While Talienda continues to concentrate on the hand, Alina holds her position, ready to attack. Echo, the fluffy good-natured cat, continues to hide in the nearby crates.
The swashbuckler with the floppy hat, (Yellow) performs a series of quick slashes in the air before lunging in for a thrust at Ionatan, which ends up being a fatal mistake. In response, Ionatan catches the man’s rapier with his sword and then quickly spins the blade helplessly out of control. In that moment, Ionatan seizes the moment, thrusting his blade deep into the man’s left eye. The long narrow blade slides all the way through the man’s head, bursting out the other side. After sliding off the blade, he crumples to the ground in a series of convulsions. After observing the gory death of his friend, the well-dressed man (Black) gets a look of shear tear on his face. (If this detail is to graphic, let me know and I'll back it down. I wanted to embellish the seriousness of the critical in the description.)

No, not an out of turn intimidate. An offer for him to walk away.
Did you skip Lt Blue's attack? I think you focused on the Mage Hand.

Sorry about the bless mistake, I think I accidentally clicked on the wrong edition reference. So that's 3 damage instead of 4.
Ceru shoots at the one engaging Wayilant.

From under the table, Ceru attempts to work her small arrow between the scuffle of boots that is unfolding between Wayilant and the long-bearded man. (Lt. Blue) Their ducks, dodges, and counter movements makes the shot increasingly difficult. Trying to time it correctly, Ceru finally commits to the attack and sends the small arrow whistling through the air. In the last moment, the Long-bearded man juts to his right, causing the arrow to miss its mark, sending it far into the bay.
The well-dressed man, who seems terror stricken due to the fate of his companion, makes eye contact with Ionatan. In a last-ditch effort to save his own life, he drops his sword, withdraws, and moves as fare from the fight as he can.

The swashbuckler turns to check on the rest of the group in time to see the holy man drop the last opponent (I think).
"Grab anything worth keeping and let's move on. Bind wounds on them if it isn't too late, and you want to give them a chance to repent."
On the other hand, if I'm wrong about Way finishing the last of them.
On seeing the one enemy still standing, and fighting, Ionatan walks over to him, sword point held low as he approaches, before lashing out in an attack.
Rapier w/ Bless: 1d20 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 6 + 1 = 25

I think this is over before it gets to Talienda. If not...
Alaina keeps guard over Talienda while the sorceress tries to distract the last man with her magic. The hand floats in front of the man's face and tries to obscure his vision.
