Tulgram Coldforge |

According to the good old tradition, I assume that it will grab Hani .)

Hani's powered gauntlet slams into the shambler before it can blink away from the attack! Enraged, the creature turns on him!
Zharis tries to match the creature claw for claw, but it's too fast for her!
Hani's attack hit and did good damage despite DR.
The shambler does a full attack on Hani. Result: one hit does 21 S (the other was a nat 1).
Zharis' attack missed. (Zharis, you technically went out of Initiative order, but it doesn't affect anything--we just won't have you go in the round coming up.)
Attack # 1 (full attack) vs Hani KAC: 1d20 + 20 - 4 ⇒ (12) + 20 - 4 = 28
damage: 3d4 + 13 ⇒ (1, 4, 3) + 13 = 21
Attack # 2 (full attack) vs Hani KAC: 1d20 + 20 - 4 ⇒ (1) + 20 - 4 = 17
damage: 3d4 + 13 ⇒ (3, 1, 2) + 13 = 19

Tulgram Coldforge |

Merciful Capture Pole: 1d20 + 12 - 4 ⇒ (9) + 12 - 4 = 171d8 + 15 ⇒ (2) + 15 = 171d100 ⇒ 90 (piercing vs KAC; non-lethal dmg)
Merciful Capture Pole: 1d20 + 12 - 4 ⇒ (5) + 12 - 4 = 131d8 + 15 ⇒ (3) + 15 = 181d100 ⇒ 60 (piercing vs KAC; non-lethal dmg)
If something hits, I will inject an inhibitor into it, but I am tormented by vague doubts that even despite the high result of the percentage it's all a miss.

Jin Goei |

Jin starts full attacking:
Aurora Storm Doshko vs. EAC: 1d20 + 12 - 4 ⇒ (9) + 12 - 4 = 17
Electricity damage: 2d8 + 13 ⇒ (3, 5) + 13 = 21
Aurora Storm Doshko vs. EAC: 1d20 + 12 - 4 ⇒ (16) + 12 - 4 = 24
Electricity damage: 2d8 + 13 ⇒ (6, 5) + 13 = 24
Miss chance: 1d100 ⇒ 55

Xylian Xuuvats |

Xylian acts to save their turtly friend.
Pew pew!
Ice Cannon vs KAC (Coordinated Shot): 1d20 + 11 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 11 + 1 = 32
P + C Damage: 2d8 + 1d6 + 7 ⇒ (8, 7) + (1) + 7 = 23

GM Jhaeman |

The shambler shakes and shudders as Jin's doshko shocks it on contact! A half-second later, the monster is almost blasted with a direct hit from Xylian's ice cannon, but it blinks away just in time!
Jin's second attack hit, and for good damage.
Xylian's attack should be a crit, but the miss chance from displacement (rolled below) favors the monster. Phooey.
Miss chance: 1d100 ⇒ 8
Hani is up.

GM Jhaeman |

Hani swings again, hoping to replicate his previous success! Alas, a fault in his powered gauntlet turns it briefly into an impotent glove.
Botting Hani as attacking again. Result: Attack misses with a nat 1.
Attack (w flanking) vs Shambler KAC: 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 7 + 2 = 10
damage (B + So): 1d6 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12
miss chance: 1d100 ⇒ 3

GM Jhaeman |

Furious at being wounded by Jin's deadly doshko, the shambler turns its attention to him!
Guarded step and one attack vs Jin. Result: Attack hits. Jin, you take 23 S.
I don't think it's a spoiler at this point to share that it attacks whoever did the most damage to it in the previous round.
Claw vs Jin KAC: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (8) + 20 = 28
damage: 3d4 + 13 ⇒ (3, 4, 3) + 13 = 23

Hani Makoa |

Earlier...
Just as the insidious beast steps away, much like a rabid Akitonian Red Bulldog, Hani follows.
Using the step up feat to follow the creature.
Hani squares up and strikes the violent beast.
to hit: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
I'm sure it's a miss. Hani will also use his move action to calibrate defenses (+1 AC against this creature)

Zharis |

Zharis steps forward to flank with Jin, and attacks again.
Claws: 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 8 + 2 = 18
Piercing Damage: 1d3 + 12 ⇒ (2) + 12 = 14
Miss Chance (displacement): 1d100 ⇒ 29

Jin Goei |

Jin tries to swat away the monster:
Aurora Storm Doshko vs. EAC: 1d20 + 12 - 4 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 12 - 4 + 2 = 19
Electricity damage: 2d8 + 13 ⇒ (5, 4) + 13 = 22
Miss chance: 1d100 ⇒ 53
Aurora Storm Doshko vs. EAC: 1d20 + 12 - 4 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 12 - 4 + 2 = 24
Electricity damage: 2d8 + 13 ⇒ (1, 3) + 13 = 17
Miss chance: 1d100 ⇒ 68
It's going poorly.

Xylian Xuuvats |

Clearly this enemy is an elite unit.
Pew pew!

P + C Damage: 2d8 + 1d6 + 7 ⇒ (3, 6) + (4) + 7 = 20
1d100 ⇒ 51

Tulgram Coldforge |

Die already... Tulgram is desperately trying to hit the monster.
Merciful Capture Pole: 1d100 ⇒ 711d20 + 12 - 4 ⇒ (10) + 12 - 4 = 181d8 + 15 ⇒ (1) + 15 = 16 (piercing vs KAC; non-lethal dmg)
Merciful Capture Pole: 1d100 ⇒ 471d20 + 12 - 4 ⇒ (4) + 12 - 4 = 121d8 + 15 ⇒ (4) + 15 = 19 (piercing vs KAC; non-lethal dmg)

GM Jhaeman |

Just as the dimensional shambler easily evades Xylian's and Tulgram's attacks, the situation turns from bad to worse for the crew of the Sun Diver! A pair of skeletal figures composed of ash, embers, and fire drift into the landing area from the archway. One is willowy and almost 7 feet tall while the other is closer to 6 feet; each has black orbs for eyes, like a verthani, that writhe in flames; the remains of cybernetics are apparent in one but constantly ablaze, while the other has a burning datajack.
Xylian's and Tulgram's attacks missed.
These two creatures are identifiable with Mysticism on your turn as a free action. They appear at the end of Round 3 (which we've just finished), so I'll roll Initiative to see when they act in Round 4.
Fiery Skeletal Figures (Initiative): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

GM Jhaeman |

The cunning shambler leaps to the side to avoid being surrounded and then lashes out at Jin with its vicious claws!
Guarded step and then one attack vs Jin. Result: That's a crit, unfortunately. Jin, you take 42 S.
Claws vs Jin KAC: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (20) + 20 = 40
damage: 3d4 + 13 ⇒ (3, 4, 1) + 13 = 21
crit damage: 3d4 + 13 ⇒ (3, 3, 2) + 13 = 21

Jin Goei |

Jin takes a guarded step as well, clearing the path for his colleagues, activates his frenzied fighting and strikes at the monster:
Frenzied rounds: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Aurora Storm Doshko vs. EAC: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (5) + 13 = 18
Electricity damage: 2d8 + 14 ⇒ (6, 5) + 14 = 25
Miss chance: 1d100 ⇒ 72
But it seems death is inevitable.
Round 1 of 6 of frenzy.

Hani Makoa |

Hani follows the shambler, then prepares to strike.
Using step up once again.
to hit: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14
damage: 1d6 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11
[ooc]Will use move action to calibrate defenses for +1 AC.[/dice]

GM Jhaeman |

Finding a gap in the crush of bodies, Tulgram ties to clamp the dimensional shambler with his capture pole! But again, the shambler is too fast.
Botting Tulgram as doing an attack. Result: Attack misses.
Attack vs KAC: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (3) + 12 = 15
damage: 1d8 + 15 ⇒ (6) + 15 = 21
Miss chance: 1d100 ⇒ 29

GM Jhaeman |

The skeletal figures composed of ash and embers barrel toward Xylian as full speed!
White and Gray are doing charge attacks against Xylian. This gives them a -2 on the attacks and a -2 on AC for one round. Result: Both hit.
Xylian, you take a total of 23 B&F. In addition, please attempt two DC 13 Fortitude saves vs a curse effect. If you fail either one, you gain the Burn 1d4 condition from a ghostly fire that consumes your body and spirit alike!
White (charging) vs Xylian KAC: 1d20 + 12 - 2 ⇒ (14) + 12 - 2 = 24
damage: 1d6 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13
Gray (charging) vs Xylian KAC: 1d20 + 12 - 2 ⇒ (14) + 12 - 2 = 24
damage: 1d6 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10

~~ Two more hostiles. I can handle them. ~~ The claws of the skellingtons cannot penetrate Xylian's armor. He diverts power from the the fire-control system (since it's not working anyways...) and routes the power into his armor's servomotors and clobbers one of the skeletons with a steel fist.
Move Action to use Miracle Worker on Xylian's Armor's melee attack. Standard Action to Punch White. Scrappy to reroll the attack. As usual, the Scrappy ability does not survive our first combat encounter of the day :P
Fort 1: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23
Fort 2: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23
Fist vs KAC: 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 8 + 2 = 17
Scrappy Reroll: 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 8 + 2 = 25
P Damage: 1d10 + 10 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 10 + 2 = 19

Zharis |

Zharis flanks with Jin once again, and attacks.
Claws: 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 8 + 2 = 20 (flanking)
Piercing Damage: 1d3 + 12 ⇒ (1) + 12 = 13
Miss Chance (displacement): 1d100 ⇒ 96

Tulgram Coldforge |

Bloody blasted freaks, who are you? - the duergar is distracted by new foes and misses again.
I'm sorry I missed my turn. Since the attack is the standard action, I would also like to spend the move action of my previous turn on identifying new foes. As usual: Lifesince 38 or Physical Science 39 (if non-living creature) instead of Mysticism. I want to know: immunities, resistances, DRs, weakness, one most dangerous ability, something interesting on according to the GM (in this order, depending on how many questions I have).

GM Jhaeman |

Xylian's steel-bracketed fist slams into one of the flaming monsters!
Nearby, however, Zharis can't quite land a solid blow on the fast-moving shambler, and it spins around to form a deadly a carousel of claws!
Xylian's Scrappy attack hit.
Zharis missed.
The shambler is doing a full attack: one attack on Jin and one on Zharis. Result: Both attacks hit. Jin, you take 22 S. Zharis, you take 21 S.
Claw (full attack) vs Jin KAC: 1d20 + 20 - 4 ⇒ (12) + 20 - 4 = 28
damage: 3d4 + 13 ⇒ (1, 4, 4) + 13 = 22
Claw (full attack) vs Zharis KAC: 1d20 + 20 - 4 ⇒ (13) + 20 - 4 = 29
damage: 3d4 + 13 ⇒ (3, 3, 2) + 13 = 21

GM Jhaeman |

The strange ability of the shambler to blink in and out of existence seems to have ended--at least for now!
The duration of the displacement spell ended on the shambler's turn.
Initiative (Round # 5)
Dimensional Shambler
Hani
Jin
Tulgram
Fiery Skeletal Figures (charged)
Xylian (two Fort saves needed)
Zharis
Bold should go!

Hani Makoa |

Hani strikes out at the shambler.
to hit vs. KAC: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22
damage: 1d6 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13

Tulgram Coldforge |

Sick fiery bastards! I figured out who it is! Listen up... Everyone can open the spoiler.
Merciful Capture Pole: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (5) + 12 = 171d8 + 15 ⇒ (3) + 15 = 18 (piercing vs KAC; non-lethal dmg)
Having once again missed the shambler, Tulgram switches his weapon to lethal damage mode (swift or move... can do it anyway). Someone will kill shambler now, but then duergar will have to fight with the undead.

Jin Goei |

Jin tries to do what he does best:
Aurora Storm Doshko vs. EAC: 1d20 + 13 - 4 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 13 - 4 + 2 = 12
Electricity damage: 2d8 + 14 + 3 ⇒ (2, 1) + 14 + 3 = 20
Miss chance: 1d100 ⇒ 21
Aurora Storm Doshko vs. EAC: 1d20 + 13 - 4 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 13 - 4 + 2 = 30
Electricity damage: 2d8 + 14 + 3 ⇒ (1, 2) + 14 + 3 = 20
Miss chance: 1d100 ⇒ 42
But it's below average results.
Another fumble, amazing. Same damage on both rolls, even more amazing

Zharis |

No miss chance needed. Displacement wore off, so that second one should hit. :)

GM Jhaeman |

The scent of charred flesh fills the area as the burning skeletal figures continue flailing their fists at Xylian's power armor!
White and Gray each do a slam attack on Xylian. Result: One of the attack hits for 14 B&F. Xylian, please attempt a DC 13 Fort save vs a curse effect to avoid getting the Burning 1d4 condition.
White Slam vs Xylian KAC: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (4) + 12 = 16

Gray Slam vs Xylian KAC: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (15) + 12 = 27

Xylian Xuuvats |

Xylians powered armor continues to defy the burny claws of the skellingtons, and he responds with another power fist!
Full Attack.
Fort 1: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19
Fist 1 vs KAC: 1d20 + 8 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (17) + 8 + 2 - 4 = 23

Fist 2 vs KAC: 1d20 + 8 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (4) + 8 + 2 - 4 = 10
P Damage 2: 1d10 + 10 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 10 + 2 = 21

Zharis |

Zharis rips her claws through the now-obvious creature.
Claws: 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 8 + 2 = 29 (flanking)
Piercing Damage: 1d3 + 12 ⇒ (2) + 12 = 14

GM Jhaeman |

One of the flame-shrouded skeletons is almost knocked down by another powerful blow from Xylian's powered armor, while at the same moment the dimensional shambler screeches in agony as Zharis' claws rip through its back!
Xylian's first swing hits White. Another swing like that, and it'll be down.
Zharis' claws hit.

Jin Goei |

Jin moves adjacent to where the creature was last seen and strikes at the empty space, hoping it's still there:
Aurora Storm Doshko vs. EAC: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (5) + 13 = 18
Electricity damage: 2d8 + 14 + 3 ⇒ (7, 6) + 14 + 3 = 30
Miss chance: 1d100 ⇒ 86
Round 3 of 6 of frenzy.
It's completely useless again.

GM Jhaeman |

Jin swings at where the shambler used to be, but doesn't connect with anything. Meanwhile, Tulgram spins in place and tries his capture pole on one of the creatures that Xylian is tussling with!
Jin's attack missed.
Botting Tulgram as doing an attack with his capture pole vs White. Result: Attack misses.
Hani is up.
Capture Pole vs White KAC: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (3) + 12 = 15
damage: 1d8 + 15 ⇒ (2) + 15 = 17

GM Jhaeman |

One of the burning monsters turns its attention to Hani, while the other keeps flailing away at Xylian!
White attacks Hani and Gray attacks Xylian. Results: White misses, but Gray hits. Xylian, you take 12 B&F and need to attempt the DC 13 Fort save vs a curse effect or gain Burning 1d4.
White vs Hani KAC: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (3) + 12 = 15
damage: 1d6 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11
Gray vs Xylian KAC: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (18) + 12 = 30
