Des posted something by mistake and edited it to ignore instead of deleting the post. I saw it before it was edited, lol.

The blue ghoul needs to confirm their critical hit still, I believe.

Atia Leroung |

Waiting to see the results on all that damage before I attack.

Mateo Nikas |

So I like looking at build guides for ideas and fun things to do with unfamiliar classes and decided to peek at the medium one. The name killed me.
"Leasing Your Body For Fun & Profit" is a brilliant encapsulation of a medium.

Terry of Quent |

@Terry: The blue dot one was killed by Joran. The red dot one is the only one left.
Well. Regardless of what he swung at, Terry missed, so . . ..

Seadreamer Stonebeard |

i suggest we take part of it and call it communal.
This will be the money that we draw upon to get diamonds for raise deads, or wands of cure light wounds.
Ive tried this before, and it does work well.
But it does require someone to do a lot of skull sweat to figure out what is going to whom.

Atia Leroung |

Communal wealth works for me for now. I'd say the only things that we ever really need to worry about truly divvying up are things like potions, etc. But I'm not set on it if others feel really strongly about it
I have plans for Atia to be able to craft magic stuff at some point so she can make wands.

Mateo Nikas |

If we want to, I am down for us doing shares and there being a "party share".
The party share gets three shares, we each get a share of money and goodies after it is sold. Magical items are used by whoever can use it the best. If two can use it and want it, we can roll a d100 for it. Keeps arguments minimal and such <3

Terry of Quent |

Gear to the hands that can best utilize it, absolutely! Hand-me-downs are basically mandatory with that rule, but productive.
Loot only really bothers me as a player when somebody starts doing the "Mine. Mine. Mine." thing. Even that doesn't bother me as long as it is kept light-hearted and doesn't prevent value from being produced when there's a need for it.

Seadreamer Stonebeard |

so with at least 3 for the communal, lets go that way.
now who wants the skull sweat of sorting it out.

Atia Leroung |

Oh yeah, I am totally down with doing hand-me-downs and all that. Shuffling gear around and all. That makes the most sense tactically/mechanically if nothing else.
I like Mateo's shares idea!
As for what we just got, I'd say just see if anyone needs the fancy dagger, find someone to hold the cure moderate wounds potion (whoever would be best suited for handling it), and then the rest is basically just us carrying things that are feasible to carry until we can get it all sold.

Seadreamer Stonebeard |

i agree with Mateo's layout.
cure moderate, i think we have 2 right now including the one just picked up.
i passed a bunch of potions to destinie on the wormwood

Terry of Quent |

The "really nice dagger", assuming MW, would improve my chance to hit without hurting my potential damage output very much. Especially not since I'm basically not-for-whatever in combat right now.
But nothing in this set seems important, really.

Atia Leroung |

Take it, imo!

Mateo Nikas |

I concur. A +1 at lower levels is totally worth it. Hitting that sneak attack just a bit more will be sweet.

I'm doing the group inventory tracking in two other games currently. Would be nice to have one where I am not, but I can take up the task if it is needed.
One thing that I have been doing that I think works rather well is to make the 'got from...' field be a url link to the post where the item was given to the party. That makes it very unambiguous what the item is and where we got it from. Especially if the item is unidentified initially and all we have to go on is its description to write down.

Not all heroes wear capes, my friend. <3

Seadreamer Stonebeard |

agreed. i did it in a couple of games and it was a pita.
btw Joran, are you accounting for the amulet of natural armour that i tossed you on the wormwood??

Atia Leroung |

It looks like he is - he has it in his sheet and his stats, AC just goes down when raging. >_> He needs better armor, lol

Atia Leroung |

I DID realize the other day that I can use mage armor on OTHER people in PF1e. I am tucking that under my cap for later in case we have another combat where it becomes necessary.
Atia is low on spell slots right now, though.

Seadreamer Stonebeard |

greatest strength and weakness or the barb. rage.
it was because of that that i tossed him the amulet.
i figured it would help him more than me, just wasnt sure if it was being accounted for.
i will trust in my armour so long as i dont go overboard.

Cassandra Tyche |

Also added the 200 gp each the crew got from the first loot dispersal, we can retroactively reduce that to 133 each to account for 3 shares to party loot giving it 400 gp or just put all 1200 in party loot to start it off with a boost

Seadreamer Stonebeard |

Cassandra, everyone was given 200 gold when we took the promise.
might have been missed.
Still i appreciate the fact that you stepped up to do the spreadsheet.
edit,
I had 1 silver remaining after character creation, and have 50 gold in misc trade goods from char creation.

Thanks, yeah forgot about that till I was going back through that post!

Seadreamer Stonebeard |

400 is still a good start for it.
if others want us to go with more, i am game. but i still would like to have more than 50 gold.

Javell DeLeon |

agreed. i did it in a couple of games and it was a pita.

Yes, sir.

What Atia said is spot on. Better armor would be huge. Eventually(hopefully). :P
Greatest strength and weakness of the barb. rage.
You ain't kidding. :P

My first impression when I read Fern's description was that he suddenly saw a decomposing head on a spike, NOT that the head literally said anything.
My second thought was that the solid description had to be an error, because there's no reason for the head to be where it is and STILL DECOMPOSING after the corn field had gone this wild and expanded across the road.
My third thought was that maybe it really had spoken, because an undead head would still appear to be decomposing . . ..
So, I've decided to sit back and wait for Fern to indicate what was meant. Makes a HUGE difference in what the appropriate response is to the PC confusion.

Atia Leroung |

I would be shocked if it were anything other than a simple decomposing head. The turn of phrase, "the sight of x greeted them" is so wildly common that it wouldn't make sense to use it in a way that meant the thing was literally talking without adding actual dialogue along with it.
It could have been placed there more recently than the cornfield to be that decomposed, so that's an easy explanation.

Terry of Quent |

Generally, heads are placed on spikes in EASILY visible locations as warnings. Hiding it in the cornfield is pretty much the opposite of easily visible, and eliminates almost every reason people had for putting heads on spikes in the first place.
On the other hand, we're following the road through the cornfield, so it would have been in an extremely obvious spot before the corn grew through here.
It is descriptive text in a game. I could easily be overthinking it.
