Muzouka |
Green was careless and came too close to Kiyoko allowing the samurai to dispatch the yeti in a single strike. It falls to the ground in two separate pieces.
With a masterful stroke Sakura deals Blue a grievous blow and it stares in confusion as a large wound appears on its body.

Elemenar |
Coming around the corner, Elemenar steps aside as the yeti Kiyoko killed falls to the ground. He sees the two Yeti at the other end of the platform. Sakura seems to be dealing with one just fine. He focuses on the other one and holds his staff forward. A second later two force missiles race across the open space and hit the yeti's chest with a thud.

To-to-obika |
To-to continues dragging himself toward remaining enemy. "Hang on, Sakura, I'm coming there." double move, I'm on a vacation this weekend and couldn't use Slides on my tablet.
Sakura Kian Fane |
GM, i think you only attacked once instead of twice? Sakura strikes with her greatsword.

Kiyoko Tamahi |
Seeing that Sakura has the one yeti engaged, Kiyoko dashes up the stairs in pursuit of the one that fled.
Double move.
AC is 17 again.
Kiyoko Tamahi |
I believe Elemenar's question about 'red' is actually about 'blue' (who has a red outline on his circle). Does he have line-of-sight on to the ten-foot-high porch and the yeti there?
Elemenar |
"We need to stop the fleeing one." Elemenar focuses on the yeti running up the stairs and a moment later casts a spell on the creature.
Cast sleep on the yeti. DC 15 Will. Only affects 4 HD or lower so maybe it is wasted. Spell resistance applies.
Sakura Kian Fane |
Elemenar, sleep has 1 round casting time so it will be gone before you are finished with the spell.
Elemenar |
I'll assume I can choose a different action. If not, then just disregard this.
"This just goes from bad to worse. We need to stop the fleeing one or it'll bring a whole flood on us." Elemenar raises a palm towards the creature for only a second before realizing that it is well beyond the range of his useful magics. He grumbles and stumbles forward.
Double move. Exhausted.
Kiyoko Tamahi |
Kiyoko takes a moment to center herself and then moves to the door that the surviving yeti fled through.
Using one use of resolve to go Determined and remove her Fatigued condition.
Sakura Kian Fane |
Sakura wordlessly mounts her steed and rides forward.
Double move on Asb.
Kiyoko Tamahi |
Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 13
No longer fatigued, Kiyoko moves through the doors in pursuit of the fleeing yeti.
Moving 20' into the courtyard. Will decide the remainder of the move (and my turn) after I see what’s in the courtyard.

Asb also tries to find something.

Muzouka |
Elemenar and To-to continue their run to catch up with the others as Sakura and Kiyoko pass through the door to be greeted by an empty exercise yard. No yeti in sight.
As Sakura and Kiyoko look around Asb's ears swivel around before the unicorn turns to look towards the bushes to the southeast.

Kiyoko Tamahi |
Seeing the yeti fall, Kiyoko hardly seems to relax her guard at all. Still, she retrieves a cloth to clean her katana of blood. After cleaning it, she resheathes it and moves to one of the doors into the monastery's interior. "The Braid of a Hundred Masters must be here somewhere," she says as she begins her search.
Sakura Kian Fane |
Sakura nods towards Kiyoko.
“Let us start the search!“
Hi GM, Can we just take 20 on perception? We’ve got all the time?
Muzouka |
You have the time but it will take you an hour and you'll need to make a fort save. Here's teh description of the Exercise yard.
The remains of four wooden training dummies stand in the northeast corner of this wide courtyard, while a few scraggly plants struggle to grow in the southeast corner. A cracked mosaic lies half-buried beneath years of dirt in the training ground’s center.
Elemenar |
Elemenar climbs the stairs. He takes a few moments to gather his breath and scan the grounds.
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
"We've come all the way here just to see this rundown and decrepit place?" He nods to Sakura. "Yes, let's search. The sooner we find that thing, the sooner we can leave."
The map shows a few doors heading off the main area but the description doesn't mention them. Are they there?
Sakura Kian Fane |
Sakura investigates the cracked mosaic that lies half-buried beneath years of dirt in the training ground’s center.
Kiyoko Tamahi |
Opening the door into one of the rooms off of the courtyard, Kiyoko steps inside and looks around.
Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 8
To-to-obika |
After few minutes To-to finally stumbles to training ground and looks around, but is too tired to concentrate. Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
Muzouka |
Yes, the rooms are there.
Elemenar and Toto finally join the others in the exercise yard and join in looking around. Sakura decides to take a closer look at the mosaic. Aside from being a fairly interesting mosaic it is nothing special.
Kiyoko opens the door to one of the rooms and find a room with a pile of filth covering the once fine mats laid upon the floor. Nothing pops up as interesting in her eyes.
Suddenly the doors from the southern room bursts open with a terrifying roar.
Will (To-to-obika): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26
Will (Kiyoko Tamahi): 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14
Will (Sakura): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
Will (Elemenar): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
Toto, Sakura and Kiyoko are able to ignore the mind numbing fear but Elemenar is frozen in fear(for 1 round).
Ini(To-to-obika): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18
Init(Kiyoko Tamahi): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24

Sakura Kian Fane |
GM, if the creature charged then it usually can only make one attack unless of course it has pounce. Just asking. ;-) Waiting with my standard action and Asb’s action until I know of I’m at 3/33 or at 15/33. :-D
Sakura is severely wounded.
”Arghhh!!!“ she shouts out.
She concentrates and suddenly she manifests a haze of crystalline dust that forms into indistinct runes and glyphs surrounding her body.
2/3 rounds of 20% concealment.
