Further examination reveals the pyramid’s apex has exploded, creating a narrow gap between the *LIGHT BEAM* and the pyramid’s shaft wall. Perhaps the recent explosion blew out the pyramid’s point creating this gap?

If one could maneuver themselves into this tight passage, it would then be a simple, but TIGHT matter to fly-climb up beside the *BEAM* to the first level in the pyramid (assuming it exists).

Feel free to call down to the others. However, if for whatever reason you descend back through the open pyramid apex to the outer cavern, the light strikes you again doing similar damage.

Surprised by the heat of the light and by the way static electricity begins to build as he approaches it he dodges around and manages to avoid the damage from the light. Evasion. Unwilling to call down and give away his position he exits the top? of the pyramid and flies to the others to explain both what he found and the danger the light poses.

I think that might be Dolamite. But Dolamite has Evasion so I am good with Tess getting the extra minutes. Hmm - just a thought. The light damage is Lightning + Fire and we have already been attacked with lightning. So you could go lightning instead? Not sure if there will be more driders or not. Fire resistance is always good too though. I guess I am rambling. lol.

Lissa’s hydraulic hitter cannot get through Red’s SR defense, though the same cannot be said for Ingrge’s arrows.

The first three penetrate Blue’s chest in a horizontal line, effectively pinning the drow to the wall. As she stands on tip-toes, her ruined heart wastes its final beats filling her lungs with her own blood.

It’s hard to say whether she drowns before the lack of oxygen in her stagnant bloodstream causes her brain to fail.

Red’s fate is much simpler.

Ingrge’s final arrow enters her right eye, and blows through her frontal lobe killing her instantly.

Though their obvious foes have been despatched, Imago, Lissa and Ingrge hear angry shouting in an unknown language from behind the door set into the southern wall of the chamber.

Dolamite enters the room, seeing that the fight is done but he does not have the movement to both get to the door and open it. Also he chooses not to contest with the swarm of monkeys over the drow bodies. So instead he moves to the side of the doorway to be ready in case it opens.
