Is the gate open? I'll assume not.

Pietro scowls and curses the stubbornness of idiots. He spits a bit of of magic that sound like more curses, and then he sticks his free hand's thumb in his mouth and blows.

He casts enlarge person (that spell he almost never casts) on himself.

His face gets redder and redder as he strains and blows into his thumb, and as he does so he grows larger and larger, swelling like a monstrously angry red balloon.

At this point he activates a round-worth of his Might of the Gods dominion class ability which puts his Str score at 27.

Giant black morningstar in hand he runs straight for the door. If he needs to he will pick up one of the scared little men and set them to the side. ;)

Oh the scared little men are nowhere near the door by now.

A massive boom echoes through the now totally deserted streets. But the doors hold. A quick assessment by Pietro is that he won't be able to burst them, even with his enhanced size.

Yeah, a strength check against the doors. Sorry I was at work and my phone suddenly wanted to update a dozen apps. But yeah Peitro has about 9 chances at possibly breaking the doors down--something that might come in handy later if say 50 or 100-odd slaves want to escape with us. Anyhow, the idea is that if he figures he was close the last time he tries to go for it again at least once more, but then since I ended up rolling a 20 I figure that's about as good as it gets.

Pietro steps back, because he has reach and assets his authority once more up the doors. See above.

Looking through the shattered gates you see the first courtyard.

Finely cut flagstones tile the floor of this courtyard. At one end stands a stone statue of a Garundi man bearing a set of manacles in one hand and raising his other hand to the sky. A single door permits access to a tall structure to the southeast, and another door to the north appears to grant access to another open area

He decides not to waste his spells on a poor pathetic guard and steps back and plinks at him with a TK fist, attempting to make it non-lethal.

Pietro gets a hefty whack from a halberd as he tries to grab the guard. But its not enough to distract him. The guard, tied up in a giant hand wimpers once as Pietro roars at him.

He doesn't look very much like he has a lot of bluster left in him, but it sounds like there may be reinforcements for him on the way.

The guard is on the ramparts. Pietro, enlared, still has to reach up, how is Irizati getting up there? There is a bashed in door he could go through but he recalls no exterior staircases to the ramparts, just doors into the ajacent buildings.

A couple of other guards emerge onto the ramptarts to see what is going on. They show no immediate inclination to come down.

Okay so what part of I am the law do these people not get? Pietro is seriously tempted to just start killing them all by ripping them apart with his bare hands and call it justifiable homicide. At this point half of the police departments in the U.S. would have opened fire. I have only asked for the person in charge twice now.

"WHAT PART OF 'COME DOWN HERE' DID YOU NOT UNDERSTAND?" Pietro says in a dangerously quiet growl (for him). "AND DROP THOSE WEAPONS TOO. I DON'T TRUST YOU ANY FURTHER THAN I COULD KICK A KEEP."

"I say we kill them all for interfering with an investigation, aiding and abetting, resisting arrest, square dancing in a roundhouse, gross stupidity, and anything else we can think of if they give us anymore guff. At the very least I think it will make me feel better." he says in a loud whisper to his fellow officers but right in front of red.

And when they offered to get them... you said no. They are thoroughly confused. Not to mention worried. The local police don't normally grow to 10' tall.

The others, who are not in reach, show no signs of wanting to get within the reach of Pietro, but they are not actually firing crossbows at the moment, which has to be a good thing, right?

You will recall there is stone statue of a Garundi man bearing a set of manacles in one hand and raising his other hand to the sky in the courtyard.

One of the other guards (green) heads through a door into the building in front of you.

"Was there, ahh... anywhere in particular... you wanted to search?"

He asks, trying to be helpful. "And ahh... anything in particular you were searching for?"

Two other guards vanish into the other adjacent buildings.

The guard leads the way to the inner courtyard.

This courtyard is a broad, flat plaza of charcoal-colored slate with a wooden sale platform set up near the north wall. A barn-like structure to the east has several doors to facilitate the movement of cargo. To the northwest stands a plain rectangular structure with a single door, and to the south is a much larger building with numerous windows along its upper story. A well with a stone railing is positioned near the center of the courtyard.

The guard gestures to the building to the right. "Most of the stock is in there. But we are not allowed in. Something about a previous guard 'damaging the merchandise."
