Lokaloka and Fran both easily hit the swarm, but the swarm dodges most of that bludgeoning damage.

Nicole crit succeeds on her reflex, darting completely out of the way of the flying treasure. She then crits with her crossbow and pins the purple bat to a wall.

"Squeeeeeak!"

Bella gets clipped by some of the treasure, and Khiari gets hit full in the face!

And it wasn't me, you have no evidence of that.” Purepurin clears her throat. “So, how about we talk rewards and get you out of here before the boss shows up? She's not a fan of uninvited guests; I've got some nice frying pans, or this composer staff if you want—we can whip up some cooperative waffles with some whipped cream and strawberries...” She pauses, finally realizing something is amiss. “Wait a minute. How did you even get in this far? Why'd you come all the way down here if you're just here to adventure?”

Lokaloka basks in the adoration of the party, even offering to autograph pickles for her adoring fans...

She refocuses and eats a pickle :)

“We are here to meet Valashinaz’s assistant Purepurin on the part of the Pathfinder Society. Our contact wasn’t at the agreed location so we came in to find them.”.

Bella slaps the final bat silly. "You should be more respectful with the host's property."

She finally gets a moment to introduce herself. "My apologies, but time was of the essence. I am Sidare, first name Bella. This is my sister, Khiari." Khiari simply waves hello.

"We were dispatched by the Pathfinder Society to meet your Boss. Valashinaz. We wish to have an exchange of knowledge, and have brought with us a gift. Chronicles that describe the history of a few of the treasures within these vaults."

“Oh! Wait... I'm Purepurin, and you're... Oh dear.” When you offer her the bundle, Purepurin grimaces, accepting the silken bundle and setting it down after a quick peek at its contents. “Oh, the meeting. I mean yes, the meeting! The meeting in a little over an hour, which the boss definitely knows about, and I didn't forget to inform her of while taking care of rats... and she's certainly not out investigating an artifact...”

Purepurin looks up, embarrassed and determined. “Okay, so the boss might be out right now. But don't worry, her schedule is very flexible, and I can summon her back, easy! All I need is a jug of fond remembrance, a ghost courier fulu, and a hippogriff in a jar. You all get the fulu and the jar, they're back in the vaults you came from.” She scrambles down a pile of gold, sending coins flying into the air. “Quick, let's get to it!”

You must collect the required artifacts to summon Valashinaz in time for the meeting, but face obstacles that slow you down. Each obstacle requires a certain number of successes before the party can bypass it.

Obstacle 1: TRAFFIC JAM

Kobold attendants have gathered from deeper within the vaults to clean up the waste left by the vermin, blocking the hallway. Purepurin says, "Ahem! We need to get through!" but none of the other kobolds appear to being paying any attention to her today.

Diplomacy or Intimidation to redirect the kobolds, Acrobatics or Athletics to weave around them or push through.

Vardarel quickly brushes off his clothing, making sure none of the coins were caught on his boot or in the folds of his clothing before leaving the chambers. I guess everyone has trouble getting good assistants.

When he sees the crowd ahead, he attempts to weave his way through them without a word.

Khiari can't help but giggle. "Don't worry, we'll gather the goods to summon her. Be right back!"

So she tries for a triple backflip. "Yahoo!" She lands on the other side of the kobolds. "Hey sis! If I land like this and squat with my ankles I can land without flopping all over the place. Cool, huh?"

Not sure how much time we want to spend on healing up at 10mins per medicine check. Stitch will at least heal himself, and add another 10mins for each other person that would like to be topped off.

After a quick check on Meat Wagon's systems Stitch patches himself up. He really enjoys using that scalpel, even when its not really needed. "We got a gusher!"

Stitch looks back and forth between the fast talking kobold and the others, kind of annoyed but not really. Pretty sure some of this loot is coming home in our trunk, let's just hope this dragon is the generous type!

He heads up to the mass of kobolds and honks Meat Wagon's horn "Outta the way, we got places to be!" He tries to run over the group.

Vardarel weaves through the crowd of kobolds, and Khiari does triple back flips around them (CRIT!), while Stitch and Meatwagon shove their way through.

Panicking vermin from deeper within the vaults start to make their great escape, making the hallways difficult terrain as they push against anything (and anyone!) in their path. Purepurin yells, "Ewwwww! Not this again!"

"Now now, everyone and everything has its place. Father made sure to remind me of that."

Purepurin says, "Why would we want to do that? You know how the boss feels about verm--" Then Purepurin looks at the babies and her stern expression melts. "Oh, but those are so cute! Look at those twitching noses and itty bitty whiskers! I'm sure these competent adventurers can help such cute babies!"
