With them moving on, Bella decides to Scout ahead. This mud made subtlety impossible. Maybe she could blend in with the commonfolk if she also looked filthy.

All of a sudden a pink face with a mouth of bristling teeth pokes its head out from under some tree branches a handful of paces head of Bella! Its nose sniffing and hungry drool gobbing down its jowls, eyes starting to glow with light.

The small, pink froggy looking creature hops its way out of the brush towards Bella, opening its eyes wide. As it does a blinding beam of light envelops the whole group for a few moments before it closes it.
Each creature in the bright light when the REDACTED uses this action, or who enters it while the light continues, must attempt a DC 20 Fortitude save. It is then temporarily immune for 1 hour. The light remains until the REDACTED dims its eyes by using this action again.
Critical Success: The creature is unaffected.

Roark wonders just how pink frog must taste... man those teeth are big and that light IS bright.
Bella catches the bright light clear in the face, revealing just how dirty her glasses are, its going to take her 2 rounds to clean them off. She strikes up a defensive pose as she runs through the options of just what this creature is... a frog from heaven, sent here to blind us and prey on hapless donkey's. Performance fell short, no panache.
Fran looks away at the right moment, sunspots cloud her vision for a few seconds. She can't seem to place just what this little pink creature is. Apparently you can now ID beasts with nature or arcana, I rolled using arcana since it was your better bonus. Regardless, Fran flings a tree branch at it, but misses.
Nicole also avoids the worst of the bright light, sunspots clouding her vision for a few seconds. She's pretty sure this devil frog was sent to punish all those who may have dined on frog legs or eggs in the past. She connects with her bomb, a pity the blast wasn't more potent. Two fire damage on the board!
Finn since arcana is also an option I'll let you decide if you'd like have me roll a secret arcana or keep the assurance nature recall A mighty strange frog indeed is the best he can come up with at this point. His crossbow bolt strikes true but he isn't able to pinpoint a weakspot.

Roark isn't about to let some overgrown murderous frog escape, he hustles after it and tries to tumble through and cut off its escape. The beast though is far too quick for such a move, blocking the route with superior reflexes. Fate thinks about intervening but its just too much. Lucky for Roark though his bold beaking IS fate-worthy. With a flash the magic is expended and the razor bill slices off another charred bit of frog.
Finn moves closer to get a view, sending a bolt in to clip pink.
Franny sprints towards the action, you can hear the swampy ground beneath everyone's feet as they run.
Roark: So your tumble through failed, putting you back on the left side of Pink, with the higher DC though kept the nudge fate from firing off on the panache attempt, and instead it fired off on the melee attack. So in the end you got an extra 2 damage this way.
Performance Panache is DC17. Tumble Through is higher, being based on reflex DC. Creature's AC is now revealed as 20.
