Flexible Spell Preparation. It does lock you into a class feat choice at level 2 and is only an option for prepared casters (so sorcerer wouldn't qualify).

I guess I might save that for my iruxi wizard then.

Do remember however that Aleksandr and Imelia share a pool of hit points and Imelia does not have the negative healing ability. So if you were to link her, it would work normally.

I usually fight with a glaive, which is a two handed reach weapon.

That is correct. If you want to shield block you have to have a shield.

Also correct.

You can Raise a Shield with your buckler as long as you have that hand free or are holding a light object that’s not a weapon in that hand.

You could take a hand off your weapon as a free action and then raise your shield with an action. But you would need to use an interact action to regrip the weapon before you strike with it.

Oh, in the event that the game is still going on by next Tuesday, there will be a slight delay as, weather permitting, I am going fishing... Probably the first time in 6+ months... :)

Never been ice fishing. Wanted to try it but had no takers. My uncle told me he tried once, but because he didn't have a drill, he tried (and failed miserably) to break through the ice with a pick...

Ya depending on the ice thickness you need some specialized gear. Ours can get up to 3ft thick so gotta have an auger.

If it's thick enough that you can drive your car onto the ice, you're not getting through with a pick... :)

As I had pointed out to our GM in a game I am running for him, the Community Standards specify that you have to obtain the consent of a player before including them in any damaging effect.

Correct. I didn't realize this before since it hadn't come up. But now that it has, I need to inform everyone that you must give consent to be damaged by friendly fire. If you damage a player who does not give consent, it may produce infamy that could render your character unplayable.

Ah ok sorry. I figured splash was not a big deal. Certainly could make things dicey for builds that have lots of splash built in. Regardless, it missed so we don't have to worry about it.

Going forward, does anyone have an issue with getting hit with the 1 acid splash from Eddie's spell?

At this point, it's a non-issue since Selena cracked Green wide open... :)

I remember in the bounty of my first ever character that I almost chose to cast three-action Heal spell even there was a dhampir, just to ”heal” everyone. Fortunately, I chose to do the two-action Heal instead. That would have been bad for my favorite character.
