I have a hero point to give to one of the group.
To one of the players with a 1st level character that hasn't played this quest before.

![]() |

Illnore qualifies. I don't know if anyone else does.
It's all yours as far as I'm concerned.

![]() |

not I. I've played this before.

![]() |

As I've never played with Warah before, I'm hand it in Illnore's direction. After all it's a halflings luck.

Regarding the perception check results:

Question to the GM:
Regarding the perception check results
The permit is written in Osiriani, but the name and date can be translated readily. There is no signature of the VC or PFS seal on either permit, but one would not expect it on either (assuming each is legit) as each is an official document issued by Osirion's permit office.

Mimi speaks Taldane (ie. Common) with a strong Galtan accent and throws in the occasional (common) Galtan (ie. French) exclamation as required (eg. "En Garde!"). Just imagine Poirot or Inspector Clouseau reading the lines in a faux French accent and you'll get the idea. If this becomes too annoying, please let me know and I'll tone it down or eliminate it altogether.
The thought of the David Suchet Poirot pulling a sword is enough to get me to spit my coffee laughing, since he wouldn't quite know what to do with it. But the Poirot in the Orient Express movie is totally badass. He's the one I can imagine holding a rapier and using it :)

I understand from other games I've played that certain players are using their smart phones to post and that moving their icons around on the map is a challenge on those devices. I tend to stick pretty close to my laptop during most of the day and would be happy to move people's icons around for them if they give me OOC instructions as to where they would like to be placed.

Thanks. I'm also connected via a laptop so I can move my token (and others if needed). Nosaj will tend to closely follow Mimi in any case.

GM Valen |

@GM Valen: Could Nosaj use 'Undead lore' instead of 'Society' from now on for the recall knowledge checks about the complex?
I don't anticipate any further such checks being applicable in this quest, but if you think the occasion may be appropriate, feel free to post a roll.

![]() |

Hahaha! The very idea of a goblin telling someone--in all seriousness--not to burn things! Hilarious!
He's too awed by the exploration bit to remember his heritage... :)

![]() |

We are close to wrapping up. Please provide the information requested here, which should help get chronicles to you all more quickly.
Done!
Scouting Lore: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20 Caitlin learns about desert conditions and teaches some of what she knows about forests in return.

![]() |

Lokoloko uses his talents and crafts some potions to hand out to the public.
Crafting: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23

![]() |

Illnore and Chiselnits team up with a library to lead a plant identifying tour in a local park.
Plant Lore: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18

![]() |

Between adventures, Mimi can usually be found at the grandfather's fencing academy in Gralton giving lessons on the proper use of a rapier.
Performance (Earn Income) vs DC 14: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27
Apparently she's very good at what she does. According to this table a crit success on a Quest is good for 4sp.

![]() |

During his downtime, Nosaj is going to do what he does best: crafting and repairing shields!
Crafting, earn income: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16

![]() |

I only just noticed that I apparently posted my earn income roll to both Gameplay and Discussion earlier. Not sure how that happened. Good thing both were similar rolls and it doesn’t matter which one I use.

@GM
As we enter another combat, Nosaj should be at -1HP instead of -5HP (his shield hardness is 7).
Also if it's the continuation of the same initiative, Nosaj is still in Everstand stance, right?

Corrected and correct. Same combat (I had forgotten to apply the adjustment for 6 players).

Thanks. At the same time, Nosaj also took 2 splash damage from Lokoloko's bombs (can't recall if anyone else was there too, like Mimi).
So -3HP for Nosaj

Nah. Mimi cleared out when she saw Lokoloko reaching for his first fire bomb, and according to the GM, the statue was down by the time Lokoloko pulled out his second acid and second fire bombs, so they didn't get used.
It means that Nosaj didn't take any damage either from them either.

ah yeah, that's true. Sorry, I lost track of the chain of events.

At the risk of earning Mimi's ire, "Get the mummy, mimi!" or "Mimi! It's a Mummy!!"

I'm away this weekend visiting my daughter and won't be taking my laptop, so I'll be posting next on Monday.

GM Valen |

Chronicle sheets can be found here.
Please note that Downtime Activities, such as earning income, has been left up to the players to complete per the most recent version of the Organized Play Guide.
Thank you all again for playing and making this a fun run!
I'd be happy to keep this table together for another short quest, Quest #4, Port Peril Pub Crawl, if there is interest. If so, please note in this thread. Once I have four interested, then I will go ahead and post the introductory briefing in Gameplay.
If you are not interested, please let me know and I will remove your PC from the campaign.

![]() |

Chronicles -- same here. I get "File Type not supported".
For Q4 -- I'd like to play with a different character.

![]() |

Crafting, Downtime: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
argh...

![]() |

Chronicle looks good. I'll dot in with the other character I'm planning to use (not a squishy goblin)

argh again. I totally forgot! :)

![]() |

Chronicle looks good.
I too had fun. Thank you GM Valen and all the other players for an enjoyable romp through an old favorite.
Unfortunately, Mimi has already gone through Port Peril Pub Crawl, so she will not be joining you, but I heartily recommend the quest.

![]() |

Thanks a lot for the game, would have liked to have continued with this group, but Znobe has already played in Port Peril Pub Crawl.
Good luck and enjoy the ale and rum ...
Znobe will be on the lookout for another of of these quests/bounties...

GM Valen |

Mimi and Znobe will be missed. I look forward to sharing tables with each of you in the future!
Looks like we have a legal table, so I will post a briefing shortly:
Caitlin Berrigan (or an alternate)
Not Lokoloko (but an alternate)
Illnore Thornbriar
Nosaj Morsheeba

![]() |

I've dotted in. I'm Lokoloko's substitute. :)

![]() |

Just for full disclosure I've played this twice and GM'ed it twice (or thrice if you want to include my latest table filling). So I'll let those who have played this take the lead.

![]() |

I've played it once, and read through it in an effort to work myself up to start learning how to GM. I'll also take a back seat, unless all of us have played or GM'd it.

That's supposed to have read "...those who haven't played it..."
