Tessai |

Tessai frowned at the easiness with which the man simply sacrificed his life - she knew that made them more dangerous.
Shaking those thoughts away for now, she focused on the monstrous frog in front of her.

Lothorian Sativa |

Lefty stays on the gaseous priest, watching to see where the slow-moving cloud goes, ready to give chase if it tries to escape through a crack in a door.
perception: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (15) + 11 = 26

Wyran Zuranan |

Frowning at the gaseous priest across the room Wyran steps up beside Tessai. If Tessai's blade hadn't chopped the frog apart Wyran tries to strike it.
Attack: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (1) + 10 = 11
But misses badly....

Lothorian Sativa |

Lefty moves to the door and checks it for traps.
perception: 1d20 + 11 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 11 + 1 = 29
Not seeing any, he tries to open it. If it's locked, he tries to disable it.
disable device: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (19) + 14 = 33
If he unlocks the door, he keeps it closed. He wants the priest to burn a round going through it, and the spell to run out its duration, and his friends right there when the jerk materializes.

Dungeon Master of Graves |

One lone frog stands in the center of the room next to Garados.
Yellow frog attacks Garados

claw2: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 5 + 1 = 22(bless)
claw2 damage: 1d3 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
It bites and claws at him but can't penetrate his magic defenses.
The gaseous priest is next to a door in the wall and seems to be trying to make a escape. His form passes through the cracks between the boards in the door and between the wall and the edge of the door and he vanishes beyond.
Garados and Malinor are up.

Garados Angelidi |

Garados ignores the frog and pursues the priest. He tries to kick in the door.
Please move my token to the appropriate spot
Break Door: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27

Lothorian Sativa |

He only has a move of 10 in gaseous form. We can just follow him for a few minutes until the spell ends, but that's a long time.
He can still be hit with magical weapons, so do your worst, guys.
Lefty casts Dancing Lights, controlling it to illuminate the floating priest for easy viewing. And slashing.

Ting Ting Ting |
Not wanting to admit that his favorite blue sword wasn't magical, Ting tells the others as he steps up to the last frog. "You's blokes goes after tha floggin' monkey, I's'l deals wit tha toady, wroight." Lifting the voidglass blade he slashes at the frogs head on the first chop and at it's abdomen on the return.

Wyran Zuranan |

Wyran watches Ting finish off the last frog, then strolls along after the party.
I could cast Spiritual Weapon, but I think we can just follow the priest for now? Gust of wind might be fun if anyone had it....

Dungeon Master of Graves |

The chapel reeks of nasty incense, gunsmoke, and bloodshed.
It is suddenly much quieter though.
The misty priest seems to have fled further down the hallway, which takes a right turn and proceeds past 2 doors in the north side of the and 2 doors in the south side of the hallway before ending at a door to the outside.
Malinor and Garados are up.

Wyran Zuranan |

Once they get through the door following the priest Wyran starts carefully watching for traps or anything strange along the walls. He isn't a trained rogue, but he's pretty good at noticing strange things. +16 to Perception

Dungeon Master of Graves |

Garados moves down the hallway and opens the first door he comes to.
It is a dormitory with beds and chests where the temple priests sleep.
They aren't very good housekeepers and the smell of stale sweat and unwashed bedding makes the place reek.
Wyran Perception: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (6) + 16 = 22
Wyran doesn't notice anything unusual in the hallway.
Assume we're out of rounds for the moment.

Tessai |

"This is a foul, desecrated place" - Tessai comments to the others - "I could feel it weighing down on us as soon as we entered"
DMoG, to the south on the map - are those stairs?"
"Wyran, Ting is wounded - is there anything you can do to help?" - she comments, then moves further down the corridor - "Malinor, Garados, do not overextend" - she urges her companions.

Wyran Zuranan |

Wyran moves up to Ting and nods at the wounds. He speaks loudly, "Anyone wounded should get healed before we reach the next defensive post. We can catch up with the cloud once we get healed."
He calls on his Spirit for healing first, CMW: 2d8 + 6 ⇒ (4, 4) + 6 = 14 then pulls his wand to add to the healing energy with it.
CLW Wand: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
CLW Wand: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
Can we walk along behind the others while I'm healing you? 3 rounds total....

Dungeon Master of Graves |

Malinor opens another door and finds another room full of beds and living accommodations. The stink in these unventilated rooms is pretty ripe.
I am assuming you're just doing cursory searches right now and not wasting a lot of time.
@Tessai: No stairs so far. There is still two mores door off the long hallway you haven't opened and one at the end of the hall that lines up with the outside.
Back in the chapel, there are two doors to the east and one to the south.

Garados Angelidi |

Garados keeps throwing open doors. Realizing he is looking for a little girl, he ends his polymorph spell and returns to his natural form. "Ella! Where are you, Ella?"

Ting Ting Ting |
Pausing long enough for Wyran to heal him, ting lulls his tongue in a tengu smile. "T'anks!"
Healing Garados calling out for the little girls, he asks, "So's 'as we's not found tha little Girl?" See's Tessai heading the other way, ting catches up with her. 'So's Wait's fer me, I's'l checks tha doors wroight." ting quickly heads back to the 'temple' seeing the door on the east side of the pillared room where he fought the frogs he quickly checks it.
Moving slow, Taking 10 (22/25) on perception

Dungeon Master of Graves |

Between Malinor and Garados, all of the doors on the hallway are opened.
Two of them open to bedrooms, similar to the others you've seen.
At the end of the hall the door opens into the walled garden.
There's no sign of the priest or of a little girl.
Tessai heads back to the chapel, where there are two doors to the east and one to the south that remain unopened.

Dungeon Master of Graves |

Ting and Lefty find no traps on the door in the eastern wall (although you do have to get close to the Toad Idol at the head of the chapel which creeps you out.)
Opening the door you find a barren room with long wooden table and sixteen wooden stools where Acolytes and pilgrims consume their meals in silent contemplation.
A passage exits around a corner in the north wall and a door in the back wall probably opens up into the garden.

Ting Ting Ting |
While they inspect the door, ting nods his beak at the frog statue. Asking 'Left' "So's what do's you's t'ink is wit' 'e's monkies an' tha bloody toadies?"
Moving behind 'Lefty' Ting keeps his falchion at the ready to protect his friend in case any of the frogs begin to fall from he ceiling again. "I's is wroight behind ya's 'Lefty'."
Taking 10 (22) on perception as we go

Lothorian Sativa |

It's their god. I can tell ya more about it later, but they're nasty. That's all we need to know, now. Watch out.
Lefty peeks around the opening with his elven vision, keeping still.

Tessai |

Ting and Lefty find no traps on the door in the eastern wall (although you do have to get close to the Toad Idol at the head of the chapel which creeps you out.)
"Remind me not to leave that thing standing" - Tessai commented about the Toad Idol. She stood closeby and on watch, as Lothorian and Ting investigated the room.
Map position updated.

Lothorian Sativa |

Let's check every room up here first, then we'll all go down together. I can watch this entrance until then.
Lothorian casts Dancing Lights, keeping it at the top of the stairs for now.

Dungeon Master of Graves |

Tessai opens the door in the south wall of the chapel. Cold air and stale dust fills this short corridor, cobwebs hang from the ceiling. The southern door is closed. To the east, an old wooden carving of a hooded priest, mostly worm-eaten, stares at visitors.
Seeing nothing of real interest, she opens the door in the south wall of the corridor.
Not at all like the cold and damp dormitories, this bedroom hints at a level of luxury. Rich carpets cover the floor and precious tapestries hang on the walls. To the south, by the sole window, is a small reading stand. A brazier filled with hot coals stands by the north wall, next to two bookshelves full of folios, codices and scroll cases. A lantern with colorful glass panes sheds a soft light on the room.

Ting Ting Ting |
Nodding his beak to 'Lefty' ting adds, "I's'l be wroight's back."
Turning from the steps he follows Tessai into the luxurious bedroom, helping Tessai look around he asks, "So's who's do you's supposes 'is room belongs ta?" Jesturing back way they came, "Oh's 'Lefty' an' I's found some bloody stairs 'eaded ta tha basement."
