"I think this place now warrants more of an investigation. I think its time for a tour." Malinor says as he prepares to put bullets into zombies and then tells the man, "Open the door and lead on."

Time for the Inquisition!

"I repeat myself .... there's nothing for you here. Leave this place in peace or face the wrath of our lord!" the robed man says.

He removes the flail from his belt and lets it hang loosely from his right hand.

The other two figures do not move at all.

Seeing the man ready a weapon Wyran shakes his head sadly. "We'll face the wrath of your lord. But you might want to start counting before you lift that flail. You're sadly outnumbered.... Stay your weapon and take us to your lord."

so are we, as a group, moving closer as we speak? Or staying back where were at on the map?

Nodding in agreement with Malinor, ting prepares to say something witty and brilliant. As the doorman draws a weapon all thoughts go out the proverbial window, Ting lulls his tongue in a tengu smile drawing the blue Voidglass Falchion out of his quiver. Resting the blade on his shoulder, he nods in agreement with Wyran, "What he said." Ting looks at him intently, "You'll bloody-well die foist, en you's can be loikes yer pals, 'ear, wroight." He turns and studies the zombie on the left.

so two studied targets, the speaker and the zombie on the left.

”One moment friends” - Tessai tries to calm her companions before everything escalates out of control.

”We know a child has been... Traded here...” - she snarls - ”For some sort of crystals. I do not care. But you can be sure we will not leave without the child” - she adds.

”Are you sure this is the path you will stay on?”

Tessai is clearly surprised by Garados’ transformation into some sort of fiendish bat from the pits of Hell, but also by the brutality of her companion’s approach to the whole situation.

Knowing the time in his combat form is limited Garados growls "We need to find the girl. And the necromancer."

He heads into the largest building, bursting through the nearest door.

Here's your distraction, Lefty.

His beak agape, ting watches as Wyran touches the zombie and it falls. Telling Wyran as he wipes the blood off his blade on the dead mans robes. "Nice floggin' trick."

Realizing that Garados had turned into some kind of bat winged thing and was heading into the building. Ting grips his falchion in both talons and prepares to follow the altered Garados.

Door is locked, heavy, and looks strong.

The Peekaboo bounces off when it flies into them.

Looks like a job for Lefty or the Bird-man

Chuckling at the sight of the large bat winged Garados bouncing off the doors, ting approaches, "Why don't you's let me's takes a look's see, wroight." Crouching down in front of the door, ting lays his falchion beside his leg, drawing out his lock picks, he attempts to tease the lock open.

DMoG, can Tessai now pinpoint exact auras beyond the door? If yes, how many?

@Tessai: When you cast Shield you interrupted further concentration on Detect Evil. You had detected 12 sources and a total aura of strong evil behind the door.

Fair enough, thx for the info DMoG.

”I could sense several different evil auras on the other side of the doors - be prepared” - Tessai warns the others.

The one-eyed flying monster throws its shoulder against the massive doors and bounces off, rubbing a growing bruise.

Ting kneels down in front of the lock and finds that, even though the doors are massive and strong, the lock is fairly primitive.

He easily triggers the lock and opens the door.

The double doors swing outward, showing a large temple chamber.

The room is dark, illuminated by a pair of greenish fires flanking an altar at the far end of the room, 6 torches attached to columns that support the roof, and the daylight that passes through the doors.

The columns are carved with frog motifs and an idol in the shape of a frog on the altar.

A stench of incense and unwashed bodies flows out the doors.

A row of monks stands across the center of the chamber, flails drawn and at the ready.

Further back in the chamber, clusters of zombies are entering the room through doors.

A shadowy robed figure accompanies each of the groups of zombies.
