yep, thanks for the clarification.

Garados takes down a zombie with a bite (yuck) and a talon.

Luckily he has no nose, so he can't smell the zombie goo on his face.

He then injures the green frog with a wing buffet.

While Wyran's touch didn't drop the zombie, one of his allies finished it. As he listens he hears other things approach through the fog, faster than the zombie and with a strange sound of movement. Another zombie steps up and slams Wyran, almost getting through the Mage Armor. AC23 He considers striking out at the zombie, but the strange movements resolve into giant frogs. They seem to be a better target, for now.

Lothorian can tell that the fog is causing problems for his friends, so he moves and casts Gust of Wind through the center of the fog cloud, using his ring. It should blow much of it out the door.

Gust of Wind for your convenience.

Since the spell is not an attack, he remains invisible for 2 more rounds.

@Wyran: you're correct. That frog remains undamaged.

Tessai and Ting each kill a frog.

Wyran punches at frog next to him, but misses due to the frog's tough skin and the effects of the fog cloud.

Lefty casts a spell and a Gust of Wind blows through the chapel, carrying incense, fog, and stench out the front door.

Monk Str Check: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12

The red monk remains tangled in place by Wyran's silk string.

The Zombies lurch forward to attack again.

The zombie surge forward again, even bolstered by the evil of this place they fail to do much damage. Garados is impervious to their strikes, Tessai's magic protects her from a mighty slam, but Ting takes another punch to the beak from a dead man.

The killer frogs swarm about the legs of the battle line, snapping away at you.

Wyran is bitten by a frog and Garados is scratched by one of the green frog's sharp claws. The frog hopping around to get Ting misses.

Two more frogs drop from the ceiling! (Purple and Blue recycled)

With the fog cloud blown out the door, the Underpriests change tactics.

The look at each other and nod in unison. They chant again briefly in that weird throat-singing voice and they raise their right hands as if wielding weapons.

Glow sickles appear in the air above Garados's monstrous form and strike down at him.

The press of the dead and hopping frogs continues to push forward, despite their losses.

Ting and Wyran and damaged further and one of the killer frogs proves the Popobala isn't invulnerable!

Nodding his beak approvingly as transformed Garados shreds zombie and giant frog alike. He flinches as the roar of Malinor's pistol fires not once but twice. The sound reverberating through the temple, as the two shots blow the things head off. Seeing the effect of the shots ting calls out over the ringing in his ears. "Bloody good shootin' wroight." Ting, Wyran, and Tessai are up.

That 25 was not a hit - Tessai's AC is 26 :P

"There is still a chance for surrender and parley" - Tessai nodded at the priest, moving forward - "Drop any weapons you are carrying, and put your arms up now. Else your life is forfeit" - she added, standing next to him, weapon at the ready.

Readied action. If he tries to cast a spell, attack, run, or in any way step away from her, Tessai swings.

Readied attack: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (15) + 10 = 25
Damage if it hits: 1d8 + 13 ⇒ (4) + 13 = 17

----------

AC: 26
HP: 51/51
Effects: Shield, Bless: Each ally gains a +1 morale bonus on attack rolls and on saving throws against fear effects.

With most of the enemy dealt with Wyran faces the last priest. He hears Tessai's words and shrugs, then waves in the direction of the man. (even though the action is not necessary....)

Targeting him with Silkstring Snare(SU). Reflex save DC17 or he is entangled and held in place for 8 rounds, or until he escapes the snare.(Escape Artist or Strength check, same DC)

He nods at Tessai, "Unless you'd like him gift wrapped?"

Rolling his eyes as another frog drops from the ceiling, ting, croaks, "Where's is 'ese bloody toad's comin' from?"

Hearing the priest yell 'flee' ting turns his beak, almost impossibly over his shoulder to see what's going on. As the explosion from the pistol echo's through te temple ting lulls his tongue in a tengu smile as Malinor puts a very large whole in another frog. Turning back towards the frog that dropped near him, Ting lifts the blue voidglass falchion and chops at the frog, then turns the blade as it arches, and chops at the giant frog again.

Hearing the conversation he asks, "So's is we's parleyin' again?"

Full attack: MW Voidglass Falchion bless PA, FF second attack drops PA

@Tessai you moved yourself adjacent to the flail wielding acolyte that wyran trapped in the first round, did you want to go all the way to the back of the room where the priest is located?.

Priest Reflex: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (6) + 0 = 6 Priest is snared.

Ting kills the purple frog with a slash from his glass falchion.

"Indeed we are my friend"

The one trapped in the first round will do - he is 'only' entangled right? She would then add:

"Where is the child?"

Lefty silently moves towards the priest, expecting his allies to dispatch the last 2 frogs, and waits invisibly beside him.

stealth: 1d20 + 12 + 20 ⇒ (1) + 12 + 20 = 33

@Lefty: I think you went twice. You acrobatics away from two frogs and cast vanish this round.

The flail wielding acolyte begins to swing at Tessai, but her readied attack interrupts him and he dies before fully raising his weapon.

In the future I will remember that bad guys can just cut the webs.

With Lefty Vanishing the Orange frog hops across the room in a full move.

Likewise, the Green frog hops across the room and tries to bite Garados.

4 more frogs drop from the ceiling! Is there no end to these frogs!!!

Yellow frog hops down and tries to bite Garados.

Purple frog hops down and tries to bite Ting.
bite: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 5 + 1 = 26 (bless) hit!

Blue frog hops down and tries to bite Malinor.
bite: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 5 + 1 = 10 miss
bite damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

The Red priest takes a potion out of his belt and drinks it.

Those of you not busy stomping Killer Frogs notice he becomes insubstantial, misty, and translucent.

Then he slowly steps away from the entangling webs.

Spellcraft DC18:
He priest apparently drank a potion of Gaseous Form.

Malinor and Garados are up!

Lefty sees what the priest did, but can't affect him.

He's getting away, guys! Gaseous Form spell!

He watches to see where the misty priest goes.

Dark Archive

Malinor puts two bullets into the frogs.

Start with Blue. If the first somehow kills him shoot the red next. Ricochet the bullet off the ground to avoid cover. 9 bullets Fired.

Malinor's first shot hits, wounding the frog.

His second shot misses.

The frog stares at Malinor with deep, cold, accusing amphibian eyes....

Dark Archive

It was a touch attack, although that might still miss.

That does hit!

The accusing light fades from the eyes of the blue frog....

I want to check. It feels like these pillars are producing a never-ending stream of frogs. Am I wrong about that?

The croaking from above seems to have died down.

Garados bites the head off the orange frog, spitting it out while frog gore drips down his chest.

He claws up the green frog with his first talon, but then misses his next two attacks.

He pummels the life from the green frog with his final wing buffet.

Three frogs form a sparse skirmish line across the room, protecting the remaining priest who has assumed Gaseous Form in an attempt to evade.

Ting, Wyran, Tessai, and Lefty are up.

Rolling his eyes, as more frogs drop from the ceiling, ting begins to sound like he's whining. "Why's is it rainin' floggin' toadies?" Quickly shifting his feet, he is unable to block the frogs assault. "Squawk!" Giving a loud squawk, he lifts his falchion high, slashing left then right at the frog that bit him.
