Tyrant scowls at the grotesque chandeliers. "What is the point of such decorations? I will never understand softskins and their strange taste in, what was it? Interior decoration, I believe a human called it?" Walking into the entrance hall, Tyrant listened to see if he could hear the screams or any sounds of activity.

When they stumbled onto Mithuth having torn down the front door an argument ensued. Vinexa rolled her eyes and said, "If he's just now breaking down the door he isn't the one in there making people scream."

"The screaming is coming from upstairs! Onward, then." he says, then begins shuffling towards the source of the disturbance.

Guiscard du Montierre: Perception:

Guiscard can't help but notice that the environs appear to have been ransacked -- as if the premises were the site of a robbery -- the drawers of desks have been opened, their contents rifled through and spilled on the floor, items on surfaces have been similarly moved around as if whoever performed this action were looking for something. Additionally, the doorways and windows show signs of forced entry -- broken glass, busted locks, etc.

The main stairway of the manor house ascends on the right of the entry hall and curves dramatically as it rises to the second floor. The treads are exceptionally broad, quickly inducing weariness in those who undertake to climb them. The steps are covered by the same plush red rug as the entry hall, and the vaulting above is decorated with elaborate paintings of disturbing vistas -- undead, blood red skies, dark fortresses, etc.

At the summit of the stairs, Tyrant and the other travelers are confronted by at least part of the source of the disturbance. What must be one member of the Metivier clan, a raven-haired female with violet eyes and long lashes, and wearing a dress the color of midnight ornamented with tiny garnets that make the garment resemble the night sky, is bound and gagged by a group of what appear to be the demons of the Khyber that Aria did not believe actually rose during the Night of Hopeful Judgment? Several of the spine-laden monstrosities surround the stricken captive, goading her with long, cruelly-twisted prods and weapons.

As the travelers reach the top of the stairs, the group of some dozen Khyber spawn turn sharply to regard the newcomers, their gaping maws hissing with anger as they realize their predations have been interrupted.

Fists of Lightning and Thunder with Lightning being his pick.

As soon as Tyrant has been hit, Tyrant lets out a primal roar. Immediate action to enter his Dragon Form.

Dragon Form:
Dragon Form (Su): At 1st level, a dragoner can assume a dragon form. A dragoner can assume a dragon form for a number of rounds per day equal to 4 + his Constitution modifier. At each level after 1st, he can assume dragon form for 2 additional rounds. Temporary increases to Constitution, such as those gained from dragon form and spells like dwarf’s endurance, do not increase the total number of rounds that a dragoner can assume dragon form per day. A dragoner can assume a dragon form as a full-round action. Using a full-round action to assume a dragon form does not count towards the number of rounds a dragoner can stay in his dragon form in a day. The dragoner can also assume a dragon form as an immediate action after taking damage from an attack. The total number of rounds of dragon form per day is renewed after resting for 8 hours, although these hours do not need to be consecutive.

When in dragon form, the dragoner becomes a Medium dragon (gaining the dragon type). He gains a +4 size bonus to Strength, a +2 size bonus to Constitution, a +4 natural armor bonus, fly 60 feet (poor), darkvision 60 feet, a breath weapon, and resistance to one element. He also gains one bite (1d8), two claws (1d6), and two wing attacks (1d4). His breath weapon and resistance depend on the type of dragon. He can only use the breath weapon once per day, plus additional times per day when gaining the breath weapon class feature (see below). All breath weapons deal 1d8 points of damage per berserker level and allow a Reflex save (DC 10 + half of the berserker’s level + his Constitution modifier) for half damage. In addition, some of the dragon types grant additional abilities, as noted below. He does not gain any spellcasting, extraordinary, or supernatural abilities from this dragon form. All equipment are melded with his dragon form.

Blue Dragon: 60-foot line of water, resist water 20, swim 60 feet, vulnerability to lightning.

A dragoner can end his dragon form as a free action and is fatigued after assuming a dragon form for a number of rounds equal to 2 times the number of rounds spent in the dragon form. This fatigue cannot be reduced or mitigated in any way and applies even to normally fatigue-immune characters, but can be cured as normal. A dragoner cannot start a new dragon form while fatigued or exhausted but can otherwise assume a dragon form multiple times during a single encounter or combat. If a dragoner falls unconscious, his dragon form immediately ends, placing him in peril of death. In addition, rage powers or class features work with dragon form. Dragon form does not stack with any other rage effect (such as defensive stance).

Which, in addition to changing Tyrant's stats, triggers this.

Basically Dazzling Display:
Intimidating Transformation (Ex): When entering into a rage, a berserker may roar or brandish his weapons. As a free action as part of entering the rage, he may make an Intimidate check to demoralize all foes within 30 feet who can see or hear his display.

Intimidating Transformation: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (10) + 19 = 29

Tyrant's bones twist and scales stretch and, in a split second easily missed simply by blinking, the kobold changes. Where once stood a proud Kobold now stood a true Blue Dragon, staring down at the orcs that dared to strike it with the look of a predator eying its next meal.

Stats changed in bar to accommodate the new form.

Guiscard has no patience for this nonsense.

"Banditry is a most despicable act. Begone." he says, and makes a dismissive gesture with his fingers.

A cascade of lightning bolts begins pouring from the air above the orcs, impacting them with their searing radiance.

Casting Thundara (20 ft. radius so almost assuredly catches everything), and we're going for flashy, extreme overkill, so a point spent from my Arcane Pool to boost the caster level by 2, and Empowered (spending a Move to reduce the increased cost by 1). Mage Accuracy used to exclude all allies from the effect.

Damage (DC 19 Ref half): 12d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 5, 4, 2, 6, 5, 6, 5, 3, 2, 3) = 48 Times 1.5 for a total of 72 Electricity damage.

Tyrant takes 81 damage from the five orcs.

If that really does mean he's down an out, then Tyrant, for now at least, is going to be shortly resurrected as a ectoplasmic creature. Let me know how you'd like to handle that -- template/switch out an archetype, etc. I saw that this In The Company of Spirits (PFRPG) exists. The idea is not really to make the character undead, but more like a creature made out of some kind of transitive plane substance like shadow, astral material, or ether, mirrors etc..

I'm here. I thought there was still a baddy ahead of me. I must've misread.

Sieghart's aurora flares as he revs the engine on Fenrir hard.

"Fenrir, charge in!" Sieghart shouts. The bike roars down the hall towards the nearest (and, hopefully, least-damaged) orc as Sieghart winds up a powerful swing with his gunblade, finger preparing to pull the trigger at the moment of impact. Activate aurora for +2 AC and Fast Healing 2. Knight's Charge, Power Attack, Trigger Attack. Knight's Charge neutralizes the attack penalties from PA and TA. No AC penalty.

Attack: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (6) + 11 = 17
Slashing damage: 1d8 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13
Fire damage: 1d6 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9

If this doesn't hit, I'm spending a Hero Point to reroll.

You'll have to reroll. I'm going to go ahead and get the next round started while you do that to move things along.

ROUND 2:

Vinexa (you're up)

Vinexa danced her way around to the orc furthest from the other orcs, one she could put between her and the rest, and gave him a flirty smile before lunging in to touch him.

Doing the standard action for a touch attack. Since I'm dancing I have a speed of 45 instead of 30.
