Mheenah finds the skeleton key fits perfectly in the lock…she turns it and hears a satisfying ‘click’ as the lock opens…
As Mheenah opens the door, she can see what appear to be prison cells down the hallway…Lorelei whimpers as her nose starts twitching, picking up a familiar smell…

The first cell you see a boy and girl who look up to you hopefully, the cell next to it, a prosperous looking man and a woman dressed poorly…
”Mama!” a boy in the last cell cries upon seeing Lorelei bound towards his cell…this is quickly followed by an exclamation of ”Mheenah!” by a bedraggled looking Elly. Spirit’s master looks on with hope as he sees his impulsive ferret skitter towards him, murmuring, ”My clever, clever, boy…” Pitch’s wizard cackles fondly to his raven…

Lorelei sticks her head through the bars and begins wildly licking her boy.
"Oh I knew it! I knew I'd find you! My poor, poor boy! You're safe now, you're safe!" she barks out in happy relief.

Mheenah flutters down the hallway into the cell block, and looks at her mistress with undisguised glee.
"There ya are, ya knucklehead! See, yer parents was right, all that misbehaving and traipsing down the primrose path led ya to no good!" teases the quasit. "Now, how much'll ya give me to let ya outta there?"

You find the skeleton key also fits the locks in the jail cells and you quickly unlock and free your masters and friends…
The boy and girls in the first cell look pleadingly at them, ”Will you please free us as well?” The prosperous man as well looks up with hope, saying, ”We’d be most grateful…and I’d make it worth your while…”

"Yeah, sure, why not?" says the quasit, who is very much basking in all the praise and hero-worship. She releases the other prisoners. She cocks a thumb at herself. "I ripped the naga lady's face off." she says proudly, sure that this will impress everyone.

Spirit the Ferret |

I know I had something in mind for Spirit's master, but I seem to have completely forgot it and not written it down... XD
Spirit joyfully leaps onto his master's head, and then starts excitedly (and rapidly) chattering about their adventures, how glad he is to have her back, and anything else that occurs to him.

As you revel in reuniting with your masters, the others you freed introduce themselves and express their gratitude.
The boy approaches Mheenah, in awe. ”I’m Griff and this is my sister Myrtle; we’re the son and daughter of Orlane's carpenter. Our father was charmed by the serpent queen. Did you really rip her face off?”
The prosperous man bows and smiles. ”I am Foldyr, merchant of Hookhill; I am grateful for your assistance and, if you will lead us out of here, I will reimburse you accordingly…”
The woman is somber but still tries to show her appreciation. ”I thank you for this…my husband was also charmed…we lived on a farm just west of Orlane…”
Assuming you leave the way you came, avoiding the undead room next door, you will make it out of this dungeon and back to Orlane. You can RP some more, if you wish, and I will wrap things up with the conclusion tomorrow…

Epilogue:
As you leave the naga’s lair, you see several guards wondering around as if they had just awoken; you surmise that all creatures who have been charmed by her have been freed from their enchantment due to the naga’s death. While they retain vague, dreamlike memories of cult activities, they do not remember the experience as being real. You assume this will include all humans and humanoids, no matter where they are.
As you make the long trek back to Orlane, upon arrival you see that things appear to be returning to normal…and the formerly strong militia of Orlane, led by the constable, is but a memory…
Any of you who wish to take up residence here will find that things are still pretty lively, however. The carpenter thanks you, gratefull for the rescue and return of his children; while not rich, he offers you anything within his skill to make…out of wood obviously. The Hookhill merchant makes good on his promise, awarding your party 1,000 gp to be split among you. The hermit takes his leave, inviting you to his shack sometime to share an ale, ”…or whatever it is you creatures drink,” with he and Whiskers.
Llywillan, along with the mayor, greets you heartily when you arrive and confirms the normalization of life within Orlane coincided with the naga's death. Of course, there will be a period of readjustment and guilt as the former cult members realize some of the things that they have done. Human nature is resilient, however, and after a month or so, the little village will have returned to its atmosphere of friendliness and optimism.
If you and your masters choose to remain in the village, you will be accorded the status of honored citizens, and live happily ever after…or perhaps not…
