Spirit squeaks angrily at the monk. "If your god is about kidnapping people and stuff, then I'm glad you think we're blasphemous!"
He then hurls the prayer mat at the monk.

Reminds me of the old kung fu movies…Mheenah, You’re kung fu is weak!
The monk sneers at Mheenah’s & Spirit’s words, preparing a witty comeback, but as Mheenah’s claws rake across his face and Spirit’s mat smacks him hard in the head, he just gurgles in obvious pain…and drops…

"Hey, I was using that!" Spirit exclaims when Mheenah attacks the prayer mat.
The ferret looks around the cells, and after finding nothing more of interest, bounds into the dining hall and takes a look around.

Spirit combs over the dining room…but other than the harvest items and the bottle of local wine he first noticed upon entry, the ferret doesn’t find anything of significance…

Mheenah picks up some of the feathers on the ground and tries to press them back onto the wounded part of Mr. Pitch.
"Hold still, I'm pretty sure this'll work."
After administering her first aid to the raven, Mheenah hops into the dining hall.
"I bet that door over there prob'ly leads to a kitchen. Never saw a dining hall yet that wasn't right next to a kitchen. I wonder what evil cultists eat?"
Mheenah heads for the southern door and opens it.

Mheenah opens the door and finds her instincts to be correct; it is indeed a kitchen…
Three medium-sized ovens occupy the south wall, while cupboards take up most of the storage space. A small table is in the center of the room. A search of the cupboards find they contain grains, flour, beans, carrots, and dried meat; as well as pots, pans, platters, cups, and utensils enough to serve large and elaborate meals.
But you don’t find anything of significance here either…
To save time, I’ll streamline to the only other unexplored room on the first floor as you’ve already found everything of significance on this floor…
You move on to the only door you haven’t explored on the first floor as yet (#4 on the map)…upon opening it you see…
…a larger room, divided by a rich blue drapery just west of the door. The area that you see is empty except for three plain wooden benches. Behind the drapery is a softly carpeted room with three comfortable chairs placed around a low table. A small shelf to the side holds several unopened bottles of Orlanian Special wine, and a half dozen glasses.

In the kitchen, Mheenah grabs a carrot and munches on it noisily as she hops along with the group.
On discovering the room behind the drapes, Mheenah makes a sneering sound. "So this is where they hatch their evil plans! And drink their hoity toity wines! Oh, if there's one thing I hate more than evil snake cultists, its the bourgeoisie! I bet they're all FREEMASONS."
"Ooooo, if I had time, the things I'd do in this room! But we're on the clock. Let's go check upstairs." She tosses away her carrot top.

You go up the stairs you found earlier; it bends back around and yo find yourselves in a small hallway with a single door to the east…

"Wow. How'd they get 'em to stand up like that? Neat."
"Anybody else think those skeletons will attack us?" Spirit asks.
This thought hadn't occurred to Mheenah. "They can do that? I underestimated humans, they're a lot more fun when they're dead than I realized." She turns invisible and flies into the room and knocks on the nearest skeleton's head in a friendly manner.
"Hello? Is there anybody in there? Just nod if you can hear me. Is there anyone home?"

"Woop. Howdy mistah. Where'd they dig YOU up?" says Mheenah as the skeleton begins moving. Giggling with delight, she starts bashing the skeleton to bits.

As the skeletons around her splinter with satisfying little pops of bone dust, Mheenah lifts a claw to shield her eyes and looks back wonderingly at the raven.
"Well that was a neat trick. How'd you do that?"

"Through an act of faith, I was able to channel a minut amount of energy from my goddess, Mystra", Mr. Pitch said in a humble yet still condescending manner.
"No kiddin'? Maybe there's somethin' to this god racket after all."
Mheenah moves to open the western door on the south wall.

Spirit searches but finds nothing amidst the bones and benches other than the broken swords the skeletons carried…
Mheenah opens the SW door to reveal…
…a chamber containing a small table and two comfortable chairs, with an unopened wine bottle and two clean glasses on a shelf in the corner.

The quasit glances about the room and for a moment she pauses and her little eyes narrow as she peers about, but in the end she shrugs and looks away and moves to the other door.
"These guys wasn't hurtin' for wine, that's for sure." she says.

Spirit takes a quick look around. "It's like one of those waiting rooms!" he says. "I like those, except when my master would insist that I didn't touch anything."
Not being particularly interested in wine, he quickly gets bored with the little room and follows Mheenah.

Most of the volumes deal with mundane aspects of agriculture or religion. The most ornate book in the room is on one of the tables, entitled: A MOST WORSHIPFUL GUIDE TO BENIGN MERIKKA. The huge and richly embossed volume will not fit on any of the shelves. It contains many colorful paintings and was formerly very valuable, but all of the illustrations have been crudely defaced. Some of the pages have rusty brown spots on them.
She finds nothing else of interest in the room…

"Hmm. Merikka! Heck yah!" says Mheenah as she thumbs through the sacred text. As a devout defacer of books, game recognizes game, and she makes a few mental notes on some particularly gross smears.
She then heads back to the other room to check the door in the western wall.

Mheenah presses on through the western door…
A rack and a table with heavy straps attached to it occupy the center of the room, and an iron maiden stands in the corner. Several empty pine boxes, about 6' x 2' x 3', are stacked against the west wall.

Mheenah flutters into the room and settles on the rack.
"A torture chamber..." she whispers as she looks around the place. "And pine boxes for puttin' the bodies in once they're... done with 'em. But if they're charmin' everyone, why would they need to torture people?"
She begins to pace back and forth on the wrack, wringing her claws. "They wouldn't have hurt Elly in here, would they? They wouldn't have stretched my beautiful mistress, would they?" She holds her head and begins to sniffle again.
