Sorry I started running Frostmaiden today so I was distracted :)
What Maud wants to do is pick up the mysterious horn Kamishah dropped and blow it at Chalissier. She is trying to figure out if she can reach him with it or not.
The cone is 30' and Chalissier is 30' up in the air, but I am 15' away, so if I move directly under him would it reach? Or no? And picking up the horn would also be a move action, yes?
If I can't do it this turn then I will scoop up the horn, step 5' south and elemental fist at the red elemental - I'll post in the morning

Did we succeed in peacefully resolving an encounter with a creature with the air, earth, fire, or water subtype? Maybe the Comozant Wyrds?(Concordance Faction Goal)
Also, I know the faction goals that require rolls are in lieu of the Day Job roll, but what about the other goals (that don't require a roll)?

I haven't really looked into faction goals, so don't know the exact rules on them.
@Maud, I'll say yes you peacefully resolved that encounter with the wyrds. They were likely to fight you, but you guys managed to resolve it without a combat.
Looks like a majority wants to give the horn to the Concordance, so will mark that on the reporting sheet. Will get your chronicles out in the morning!

My memory is a bit fuzzy but I *think* you can only check off one goal per adventure. Usually when I've GMed I've had players first inquire about any goals that don't require a dice roll and then if none of those conditions are met, they'll opt to try for a dice roll goal - if that makes sense.

Okay those goals are pretty interesting! I'd guess we did this?
Recover a valuable magic item that produces an effect that is strongly tied to air, earth, fire, or water during the course
of an adventure. To qualify, this item must be worth at least 400 gp plus 100 gp × your character level.
Yes? Otherwise I'll make a roll on making a map. This would be in place of a day job roll.
Knowl Planes DC 18: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (10) + 10 = 20

I actually can't find anything in the PfS RP guide that supports the faction goal replacing your day job check, I'd just assumed because I saw other people do it?
But yes, Liora, you are right. You can typically only check 1 per adventure. *Unless* it specifies that you can do another (I think I saw this on one of the old season goals for Liberty's Edge maybe?)

The Grand Lodge also has one goal to visit multiple different regions, which doesn't prevent you from checking a different goal as well. But the one faction goal per scenario generally doesn't interfere with your Day Job check unless the goal says it does.

That makes sense, and I do have 1 character in that faction so that may be what I was thinking of.
Anyway, this was my first time playing through an arc of related adventures! And with (mostly) the same group! Very exciting! I had much fun and love the PbP community here on the forums. <3
I may be stepping back from as many games for a bit though, because I just started GMing Rime of the Frostmaiden with my IRL group, and it takes.... just an insane amount of prep. OMG

Profession (Geologist) Day job check: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10

Also, I know the faction goals that require rolls are in lieu of the Day Job roll, but what about the other goals (that don't require a roll)?
A-ha! I figured it out! ONLY the faction goals that specify "spend/forgo your downtime" take the place of the day job roll.
"There are additional ways to spend Downtime, many of which are performed in place of a Day Job check."
"Day Job: Your PC may attempt Downtime in order to attempt a trained Craft, Perform, or Profession check—often referred to as a Day Job check—to earn additional gold pieces.
Downtime: A PC gains a unit of time called Downtime after each XP-granting adventure (an entire multipart quest counts as one adventure). You can spend this Downtime to perform one of several actions, such as attempting a Day Job check. See page 36 for more information on the Day Job check."

Also useful to note about faction goals:
"Some faction goals require a successful skill check commonly associated with that faction; however, every faction agent has a different skill set, and not all agents can accomplish those tasks unaided. In place of attempting a goal’s skill check, you can instead spend 1 Prestige Point to succeed through other channels (2 Prestige Points if the DC is 20 plus your character level or higher)."

Thank you so much! It great having the experience of running through a full story arc with the same people! Good luck in your future adventures! :)
