Having defeated Silvennius Tripe, the heretical alchemist, you have put an end to the source of the bodysnatching.
You have done enough now to claim your rewards - and conclude the module successfully. But there are still a few areas to explore if you wish.
Let me know here, or IC in gameplay, what you want to do next.

I'm fine either way. :)
Though if we press on and things get hairy, I'm more likely to call for a retreat knowing that we've completed the adventure.

I have no burning desire to climb over the pit to engage 3 undead, potentially alone. :)

Could not agree more. Leave them for the Pharasmins to give them the Cask of Amontillado treatment.

"For the love of God, Montresor Pathfinders!"
(Probably my favorite Poe story...)

He cannot jump across the gap with his armor so he will trust his companions that this will be dealt with later.
| GM supervillan |
Where to next? "Keep left" doesn't seem to apply now.
you have four options:
1. enter the secret catacomb you've just discovered
2. see where the spiral stair goes
3. go back to the outer corridor and head south
4. return to the room just south of you now
Options 3 and 4 would both lead to the room with the drapes.

I gathered the in character suggestion was #1, but I might have misunderstood.
| GM supervillan |
I think that was Felix's suggestion, yes. Just looking for the party's agreement. (2 or 3 in agreement will suffice).

Yes! 1

I'll try a couple of Disrupt Undeads at it. Otherwise, we still have the Chime of Opening. We have not used it at all yet as far as I can recall.
Onye Dawon
|
Is it down where I moved Onye's token? Then we could certainly try the Chime of Openeing.
| GM supervillan |
Djahan what did you move on the map? All the parties' tokens have moved and so has the obscuring block.
I have made a correction.
Djahan Ruuh
|
Ooops! Sorry!! My daughter must have started to play with my laptop when I wasn’t watching.
Can’t open the map right now.
| GM supervillan |
lol :)
I'll fix the map, don't worry.
I have to keep my daughter away from the laptop!
| GM supervillan |
There are relatively few areas left to explore now, so I propose to save a little time and move you around to those areas roughly clockwise from your present position.
Tsamara the Luminous
|
^That works for me, GM.
Djahan Ruuh
|
Totally works for me!
Demm tad-draguni

You can't see it, but I am holding my thumb up.
| GM supervillan |
All good :)
Moved you along a bit, but have paused to let you decide whether or not to use the Chime of Opening (or go the long way round).
| GM supervillan |
I'd like to complete this module before Gameday begins - it'll keep my GM tables to a manageable number :)
Still got about 4 weeks.
Tsamara the Luminous
|
I think we can manage that :)
| GM supervillan |
| 1 person marked this as a favorite. |
…but the statue apparently distracts the android’s circuitry…
Data's one of those anatomically correct androids, isn't he?
| GM supervillan |
If you don't want to try moving any of the statues, we'll return to a clockwise exploration of the remaining areas. I'll wait 24 hours or so in case someone does want to try a statue, then I'll move you on.
Demm tad-draguni
|
Well, it seems without a way to 'disarm' or 'disable', we either need to suck up the damage or move on. I'm okay moving on.
Hmm...we conceivably could try the Chime on one if Djahan's spirit can confirm there is a room, passage or stairs beneath a statue.
Tsamara the Luminous
|
I think that if we're not inclined to eat the damage then we should continue on, for now. If we don't encounter any other doors we'd need to use the Chime on then I'm game to try Demm's suggestion of using a charge on one of the statue-doors :)
Onye Dawon
|
Since found the doors, couldn't Angry Djahan take a look to see if they're worth figuring out?
Demm tad-draguni
|
I mean, if we are just going in circles, I'm good wrapping this one up and moving on.
Tsamara the Luminous
|
In the interests of wrapping up before we're on the brink of Gameday X per the GM's gentle request, I'm also happy to call it good and head back out if everyone else is!
| GM supervillan |
There are a couple of other encounters but nothing that would really threaten you; I'll do a narrative wrap post later today :)
| GM supervillan |
Conclusion posted.
You avoided a couple of dangerous encounters: there's a pair of ghouls hiding in Karzoug's crypt of greed, and a nasty swarm hidden in the Iridian Fold armour that only emerges if the armour is disturbed. Aside from them, the necrophidius and Tripe himself are probably the most challenging foes.
I should have chronicle sheets done by the weekend :)
Onye Dawon

Apologies for being so distracted by the Life here at the end.
I believe that Onye needs to be Slow Track on this.
| GM supervillan |
Game is reported, and your chronicles are here.
Otha I've written up your chronicle for your -12 but put the name Beleg on the sheet, as discussed.
(Otha intends to rebuild his character).
Btw, "Beleg" is Flemish-Dutch for "sandwich filling" and that's what I think of when I read the name! Sorry :)
I'll leave this campaign open for a few days in case there are any problems, and see you over in Among the Dead.

Thanks again GM!!

My chronicle looks good, thank you!
