Rodalas' arrow sticks just under the eye, causing the monster's head to snap back, dropping Umikh into the snow... 15 piercing damage to the plesiosaur!
Almost simultaneously, the arrow burst in a gout of flame, inexplicably...
Baldrick charges up next to Umikh and his warhammer hits the creature's head with a crunch! It teeters, before falling into the snow, twitching in its final death throes... 3 hp fire & 7 bludgeoning to kill the plesiosaur!
Emerging from the darkness is a lesser giant, armed with a spear in one hand and a net in another! This must have been the source of the altercation in the nearby defenders!
He seems to be looking you over and begins moving toward Khitt and Rodalas...

With a low whistle, Khitt indicates to Khat that she is free to attack. The leopard races toward the Veebeeg and launches herself at the want-to-be giant. All the while, using her train as a tragectory, Khitt releases another arrow.

Bad kitty! the giant says as he thrusts his spear at Khat! Legendary Action!

Umikh rushes forward to the giant, and hears a yell behind him as Netzer hurls a javelin over his head, catching the giant in his shoulder, but the giant pays it little mind... 5 piercing damage to the giant!

The giant lumbers forward, a little unsteady because of the ball of fur and fang that he carries, striking first and Umikh and then slamming Khat upon the ground!
Spear @ Umikh: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14 Umikh, remembering his days in the Giantkillers, leaps out of the way of the incoming thrust!

In frustration, the giant tries to slam Khat to the ground, but she wriggles free!
Bah! he bellows, waving his arms as if beset by a swarm of bees! His intention clear, it looks like he intends to head off for easier prey!

On the off chance I have time to run up to him as he leaves, otherwise ignore this. -- Or now that I see the roll, looks like he just waves his axe menacingly at the giant's back.
