I'm not too picky...just the potions would be fine for me...you can get more out of the items with your lower AC

Diazepane currently has a cloak of resistance +2 and a ring of protection +1, so either the cloak +3 or ring +2 would be an upgrade for him (none of the other stuff is an upgrade).

But I'm guessing it's an upgrade for everyone or almost everyone, so it should either go to the people with the lowest AC/saves or we can roll for it.

I would really like the martial characters with lower will save to get the cloak.

Valeros has the lowest will, so that's a good shout.

Crowe will take the ring then and lend his +1 ring of protection to anyone who lacks one.

Sorry for not posting much lately.

I am waiting for a new laptop and I broke a finger on Monday, so posting on the phone is difficult as well.

I will get back to proper frequency once the new laptop arrives.

yeah...i know the pain of breaking a finger and trying to get stuff done. broke one in high school and still had to play football(i was the center and my backup was trash) and had to write out essays...computers weren't cheap in '88...

I got my injury playing cricket and there is no way that I can keep playing with a bust finger. It would just get worse and worse.

yep...i was lucky i could tape my fingers together to still play....never did heal right...and that's the least of my football injuries...

This is why I never played sports.

Well...this and the fact that I'm terrible at sports...

opposite for me...i was good at almost every sport i did...recruited for university football up here in Canada, narrowly missed regionals for discus and was playing with men's softball teams as a teenager. only thing i sucked at was soccer...too much running...which is why i never played rugby...even though we were perennial provincial champs in our division

Playing Canadian football with a broken finger is 10% worse than playing American football with a broken finger and you only get 75% of the time to heal.

especially playing both defence and offence....

I had almost no injuries playing rugby from the ages of 7 to 27.

Now that I am old and out of shape, I keep on picking up injuries playing cricket.

Crowe could take the battleaxe as a back up weapon (mostly to have a one-handed weapon in cases of grappling or being swallowed whole), the cloak of resistance and either headband (he is a cha based caster but the boost to will saves is probably more valuable).

And, of course, we can share around the potions.

Kal is a little bigger than 5'3"...

Kal would be happy to use the wand of shield, instead of his personal one, for the duration of the adventure. Otherwise, there isn't much that is very useful to him

Okay, so despite being a level 8 alchemist :P, I don't immediately know the answer to this question: when I attack a large/huge/gargantuan creature, am I attacking the creature or a specific square?

I had actually assumed the creature, but 10 minutes ago realized that's a 2E thing (it had never come up for me in 1E before it came up in 2E!). I can't find any definitive answer on the forums or on Reddit, although people seem to suggest large creatures don't take additional splash.

Basically, Valeros is down, and I don't want to splash him, at almost any cost. If I can target the southwestern square (even with a penalty), I'm going to do that, just because there will be a 0% chance of splashing Valeros. If I can't, Diazepane may refrain from attacking altogether because bombs are really bad for this situation, and I'll figure something else to do.

You can decide which square you target on the creature. The splash goes from there but cannot affect the creature you're targeting.

So...you can target the southwestern square to avoid hitting Valeros but you won't deal splash damage to the guardian, again.

Yeah, that's what I meant. If I target the center of the creature, on a miss, I could roll 1-3 and splash Valeros, and I would be able to bump a 1 or 3, but not a 2. If I target the SW corner, then not even a miss plus a 2 would hit Valeros.

I have two questions for you, Geraint -

1.) Are all the Elberions related? I notices a one is an elf and one is a Samsaran so I'm curious how if they are.

2.) How the heck did you get a Samsaran as your 01 character?

The Elberion is just for me to mark them all as my characters, really.

Head-canon is that there's an old retired pathfinder who gives his name to his pet projects.

There are 8 Elberions in the society at the moment and they are a pretty diverse bunch. I will soon add and android who was crafted on another planet, so definitely not blood-relatives.

As for the Samsaran, I had some kind of screw-up where my 01 went unused (and had my name). It happened to a bunch of people and at some point it was fixed so that you could change the name of an unused 01. That's when I made her. My real first PFS character is Mylvwara. For years, she was my only PFS PC. I have only every played PFS on the boards.

Sounds like my Starfinder experience.

I made a bunch of PF1 characters that I never played and when PF2 came out I decided that I wasn't going to play any PF1 characters that didn't have at least one chronicle so I had 2 registered but never played.

Because it irked me to have unused slots, I requested Paizo to reassign those 2 from PF1 to Starfinder...which they did but didn't change the numbering.

So, my first and second Starfinder characters are actually my PF1 14 and 15's and my 7001 is actually my third Starfinder character.

I think I have a PF1 character called "Placeholder Noname" with a pregen or GM credit attached to it and nothing else. haha
