@GM Otha - Rokgurn has his eyes already shut. Does he still need to save vs the blinding light and if so does he get a bonus to his roll?

Rokgurn can navigate the battle field just fine with his Echolocation so I will have him take his actions and then see if I need to roll his save or not.

@GM Otha - As of your last post. I do not think that the damage was calculated properly for the Shinning Children. After my last spell and Jack's attack last round Red should be at -66 hit points (20+22+24) and Orange should be at -68 (20+48) hit points. This does not include the damage from Jack's last post (above).

Ah, that's a rare one, and Daathiel doesn't actually know that. Well, Ear-Piercing Scream pretty much only works if they fail the save (small chance) so I may as well keep that action, even if Discordant Voice is ineffective.

GM, a couple of questions: first, I think Yuri should have gotten a total of 4 AoO's (three from Come and Get Me, and one from Orange making a ranged attack within his reach. The first two, vs Red, would have used the posted Boulder Helmet attacks (i.e. 5' reach) which were a 33 and a 25, so presumably the first hit and the second didn't. The second two AoOs would have depended on whether Orange stepped 5' away (in your post you say that he stepped back, but he is still adjacent on the map). If he stepped 5' away in order to cast, then AoOs 3 & 4 would have used the first two posted Dorn-Dergar attacks (i.e. a 32 and a 39); on the other hand, if he remained adjacent then AoOs 3 & 4 would have used the last two Boulder Helmet attacks (i.e. 32 and 38).

Second, for all of these AoOs, any of them that hit will require the Shining Child to make a DC 24 Fort or be dazed for 1 round (and hence lose the rest of its attacks). Of course maybe they are immune to anything with a Fort save but it would be helpful if you can tell me if Yuri has any idea (i.e. can he tell if the ability is useless here, or are they simply rolling well on their saves) because if it's useless I'll turn it off (it imposes a -5 on my attacks, so no need to use it if it can't affect them).

Lastly, I think you didn't add the +4 dmg from CAGM to your attacks (or the +4 to hit?, not that you need it!). I think it applies to all attacks, not just melee ones, so if all three of those attacks went through (i.e. neither Shining Child was dazed before it could make its attack), then the total dmg would be +12 higher, for a total of 91 dmg. I don't think Yuri's DR 2/- applies to any of these attacks since they are all fire dmg.

I'll wait to hear from you before posting my attacks since I don't want to bother using Dazing Assault if I know they are immune.

GM, ranged attacks also provoke AoOs, just like spells, as one of my PCs discovered to my dismay when I made my concentration check to cast defensively but still cast a ray spell. Oops - that was a painful discovery!

I would rule that it gives Yuri two AoOs, one for making a ranged attack within reach, and one for CAGM, though I suppose I can see how a GM might rule otherwise. Moot now but an interesting rules question.
