Edit to Add Re: Phidoe's build - I wasn't aware any archetypes worked with unchained monk.
Some do Kenta, it depends on what class features they replace. If the UnMonk has those features then the archetype is good. I'm sad that Hungry Ghost doesn't work with it, but that's because some of the original monk class features were re-done as UnMonk ki powers. Scaled Fist works. Archives of Nethys has a list of compatible archetypes.

Edit to Add Re: Phidoe's build - I wasn't aware any archetypes worked with unchained monk.
The Scaled Fist archetype is from Legacy of Dragons, which came out after Pathfinder Unchained, and explicitly includes language about how to adjust the archetype for an unchained monk, e.g.:
Draconic Mettle (Su): At 3rd level, a scaled fist gains a +2 bonus on saving throws attempted against all fear, paralysis, and sleep effects.
This ability replaces the still mind ability. For the unchained monk from Pathfinder RPG Pathfinder Unchained, this ability is gained at 4th level.Draconic Fury (Su): At 3rd level, the scaled fist has gained some control over the draconic energies she studies. She must select one type of energy: acid, cold, electricity, or fire. Once this choice is made, it cannot be changed. The scaled fist can expend 1 point from her ki pool as a swift action to imbue her natural attacks with this energy, causing them to deal an extra 1d6 points of damage of the chosen energy type for a number of rounds equal to 1/2 her monk level.
This ability replaces maneuver training. For the unchained monk from Pathfinder Unchained, draconic fury is the elemental fury ki power, and is gained in place of the ki power normally gained at 4th level.Draconic Breath (Su): At 15th level, a scaled fist can spend 3 points from her ki pool to make a breath weapon attack as a standard action. This breath weapon deals 1d6 points of damage of her energy type per monk level in a 30-foot cone. Those caught in the area of the breath can attempt a Reflex save (DC = 10 + 1/2 the scaled fist’s monk level + her Charisma modifier) to halve the normal damage.
This ability replaces quivering palm. [b]For the unchained monk from Pathfinder Unchained, this ability is gained at 12th level and replaces the ki power gained at that level.
Interestingly, Archives of Nethys leaves out the language about the adjustments for the unchained monk, though they do have a list of archetypes for the unmonk. Scaled Fist is great because it gives you a way to build a Cha-based monk.
That said, since this is a GM blob and a bit complicated it'll probably be good for others to review to make sure the build is legit. It's a long time since I designed him (at least a couple of years) so I'll have to refresh my memory but as I recall there was a significant question about how his ability to climb on monsters would work. I'll have to review though to recall the details.

“Aeliah play Otto in TOZ’s Thralls of Shattered god VTT caper. Her also not know Giant druid’s quest, but if did, could confirm her not come across lost hound that think it fox on travels.”
“ALSO! Aeliah really like Otto companion Allison … coo coo ... but her allosaurus not fox so not relevant to conversation, so Aeliah show herself out.”

The climb on monsters ability looked amazing. I hope it functions properly for you once you get to test it out! The concept in general seems pretty cool and our group could certainly do with a few debuffs on the enemies. We hit pretty hard, but sometimes don't hit often.
I had thought there might be a couple workable unmonk archetypes and am glad to find that to be true.

As I recall, the climb on monsters ability had some questions that weren't really answered by the rules and would depend on individual GMs' rulings, but off-hand I can't remember what they were. I'll try to review my whole build plan this weekend and see if I can remember how it all fit together - I remember being very pleased with the build, but also there was some reason why it wouldn't work at all until level 4.

Btw, I don't know what scenarios you all have in mind, but I should have ample replays available if it's something I've already played.

Are you both on PFS Tracker, Phidoe and Utaru? We've been using it to identify scenarios.

Does it need an Agile Amulet of Mighty Fists? ;)

Yep, at least until I get to Rogue 3. But I think besides that I also needed enough Fame to be able to buy a Ring of Eloquence to be able to speak.

Yes, my info should be up to date: Abraham Z. (pfs # 100198).

I do have PFS Tracker, it should be up to date: RePete (PFS #126566)
Agile would be nice for my bite attack. Never even considered it before.

I've gone through my old notes and built Phidöe, made purchases, etc. He should be ready to go - feel free to have a look and I welcome any suggestions, questions, corrections, etc. He is 1 xp shy of level 5, at which point he'll take Swashbuckler (Mouser) and the build will really start to do its thing. The basic idea is to climb on things and flurry of blows with unarmed strikes, sneak attacks, and mixing in dirty tricks. He'll be pretty useless for certain kinds of fights (e.g. no way to fly and no hands to drink a potion of fly) but most of the time should be pretty fun.

I too will level to fifth after the next scenario. That will be a huge upgrade for the team. I plan to pick up Flagbearer. So with Inspire Courage up and running, everyone is +3 to hit & damage. At 6th, I'll dip into Freebooter ranger for another +1 (a single target at a time, but still). And it all stacks.

I've added our new foxes to a PFS Tracker. Looks like the only in-tier scenarios that none of us have played are 3-08 Among the Gods and 3-16 The Midnight Mauler. Of course, when you add in scenarios that each of us have played but not GM'd the pool will get bigger, but I think we each have to do that ourselves.
I'd be happy with Among the Gods in any event. I've got 3-16 The Midnight Mauler lined up in another group.

Phidöe joins the 7-int fox gang :)
How do you get the Vexing Defender trait? Is there a boon for it? I have a couple of mouser builds so I'm interested in what you do with this guy. Mine are both level 3 and have seen some play.
Lucky Lee is 'the last luckiest halfling' and intended to cram in as many fun halfling feats as possible. He'll use mouser's Underfoot Assault with Bodyguard and Helpful to protect allies in melee.
Boom Sticks is my "shoot-em-in-the-b@lls" leshy, who will use mouser to get in the enemy's space then unload with savage technologist sword-and-pistol style (actually "cestus and pepperbox").

Yep, Vexing Defender comes from a boon (choose one campaign trait from Giantslayer as a bonus trait).
Those are both great concepts - the whole mouser archetype lends itself to really fun builds.
Among the Gods works for me.

Looking forward to it as well. Should I dot in to this thread or will we be playing in a new one?
Also, I never knew that a group of foxes was called a skulk. I like it.

I'm full of Fox Knowledge. For example, did you know that skunks were named after fox pee? (On account of the smell, which is comparable.)
...Hey, I didn't say it was all good Fox Knowledge :D

We normally make a new thread for each scenario, and only close the old game down once everyone's dotted in to the new one. Yours is Mined is kindly letting us squat in this old thread :)
