Deciding that she's not seen all that Otari has to offer while simultaneously feeling a bit homesick, Elena decides to spend her evening at the Otari Fishery. She turns loquatious, chatting with strangers and buying food and drink. She doesn't have much in the way of coin, but decides that living can only be done a day at a time. Eventually she gets around to chatting properly with Tamily Tanderveil, the proprietor.

"My family are all sailors, y'know. Though they'd tell you their raiders. All talk. They haven't sailed their longships to steal brides for themselves in at least two generations," she says, raising her pint glass to one of the nearby fisherman as they walk by. Another group, currently playing a game of cards, call out to Elena to join them. She doesn't notice. "You've got a good place here. Honest folk come by to relax, and by day you're helping to feed the town. I respect that. Where you always planning to own a fishery?"

Spending 1gp to buy food and drink for the patrons. Given that a single beer is 1cp, I think it's more than enough? Let me know if I'm wrong

Elena buys 100 beers (well, 80 + tip). It's enough to make everyone within happy, but none moreso than Tamily Tanderveil herself. She immediately sets about making sure Elena has a resident mug. Henceforth hen she walks in, Elena is greeted with a rousing, "'Lena!"

The Fishery is now a Parlor. Checks to Gather Information or Earn Income with Performance gain a +1 circumstance bonus. Additionally the party is permitted to use the location’s resources to retrain more efficiently. Retraining that would normally require a week takes only 5 days at this location, retraining that would normally require a month takes only 3 weeks, and retraining is generally free.

Keeleno is known to be a hard man, at least as long as you've all known him. When Bibi approaches, he softens. His hands even tremble, "You... You brought me peace. You can't bring me happiness, but you bring me peace. So long as you shop here, you and your friends will receive a twenty percent discount."

He grabs Bibi by the shoulder and squeezes. "I'm going to take the afternoon off I think."

For the closure, you each earn 20 XP. Additionally you now receive 20% off anything purchased at the Otari Market.

The party takes some time to visit the ruins of the old inn. All the locals know the story. The Thirsty Alpaca was once the largest tavern in Otari, but in a recent disaster, maybe two years ago now, excavations by a small band of overeager kobolds attempting to expand some of the old Stonescale warrens below the building caused the structure’s dramatic collapse. Several employees and a few visitors from out of town perished in the accident, and the tavern’s owner has gone missing.

Today, the locals avoid the ruins, for strange lights and eerie sounds there have given the place a reputation of being haunted. The "haunting" seems to have stopped around the 22nd of Calistril this year.

At the ruins a Perception, Craft, Engineering Lore, or Kobold Lore can reveal more.

Yeah, folks did die, Noroc observes, which is tragic, but the ruins themselves are kinda neat, still.

    The voidglutton instill a deep primeval fear in Peldur, a dread that's hard to fathom. Thank fully, Carrufikus heals his physical wounds a fair bit.

    Noroc comes in with a quick spell REF: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (14) + 18 = 32, which the wisp completely ignores. It's not paying attention though, and Bibi scores a quick hit!
