A large cast-iron sink stands next to a potbelly stove, and counters around the room contain racks of knives, stacks of mismatched dishes, and piles of pots. A large pile of firewood near the stove has been tipped over, spilling old, worm-ridden wood across the floor. Doors lead out of this room to the north and south. A boar-like beast infested with disgusting parasites is feasting on the worms.

Etgar heaves a deep breath and looks down at Agnimitra. Maybe we should bring her back into this room, just in case, you know - something explodes. He then helps pull Agni back into the previous...hopefully safer...room, before moving back into the other room. He kicks the boar creature lightly to make sure it's dead, and looks up at Don.

Well done, big fella....that hammer of yours saved all of us.

He'll then move into the room, carefully looking about for any new dangers as he searches the room.

Some of the knives here are remarkably large and sharp; one curved blade functions as a masterwork sickle and another as a masterwork kukri. One straight, gleaming knife is made of bright silver. It functions as a masterwork alchemical silver short sword.

Don sighs deeply, dropping the hammer back into it's loop and turns to look at Etgar, "Thank you friend, I could not have it with out all of you. We should look to Agni." he carefully moves around the Elf and fills his heart with faith in Grandmother Crow and sends healing into the Inquisitor.

Between the potion, and Donovan's divine administrations, Agnimitra coughs and sputters, then let's out a groan. "Did we win?"

She manages to gasp out a prayer to Saranrae and help to repair her wounds even further.

Etgar nods and tucks the knife in his belt. He heads over to the door, grinning at Agni as he passes. Sure did, Niu told it a joke so bad it died...shoulda seen it.

He checks out the door to the next room, looking for traps and to see if it's locked.

Detecting no traps, Etgar enters a pantry.

This small pantry has three doors, including one sturdy wooden door that leads outside the manor to the east. Sliding doors to the west and south have yellowed paper notices tacked to them. The shelves here contain a few bags and boxes. this pantry is stocked only with long-lasting rations, such as boxes of jerky and wax-sealed bags of rice. A small wine rack contains several old vintages with cryptic labels drawn from several different worlds. The notices are minutiae—reminders about place settings, inventories of food storage, and so on.

Niu giggles at Etgar's witticism. "If only that were possible. I could be the most feared comic the world has ever known!"

Looking around at the pantry, he nods appreciatively. "We should stock up here before we leave. Who knows how long we will be stuck on this Dead Road."

Casting Detect Magic, he scans the pantry and then goes back into the knife room to look for other magical auras.

"Where do you think he gets all of these provisions? I haven't seen any stores and I can't imagine that gmae is plentiful this close to the Boneyard."


There is no magic in the pantry.

Etgar waits for the others to get into the room, then checks the western door for traps.

If he sees no traps, he will look around and give the pantry a quick look through before moving on.

There is no magic in that room either. The western door is not trapped as far as you can tell. You do not locate anything further in the pantry.
