Gazigaz points out exploits in the light strand's defenses and he and Dakoyo and Quonx both score hits on the festive strand of blinking lights, its lights barely flashing now!

Dakoyo will grab one of the knifes that is being passed around.
This is rather troublesome. Why are these strands so resiliant?

Grabbing the knife in the round robin stabbing session, Gaz shrugs his many shoulders, and resumes the stab-stab-pass routine.

Nako attempts to slash her way out of her ensnarement but cannot connect.

The light strand attempts to further slip around Nako...

...and is unable to hold onto the thrashing soldier!

The banner strikes out to grab a target...

... and grabs Nako just as she slipped free of the light strand!

Dakoyo tries to slash at the nanite infused strand but it slithers out of the way.

A nearby skittermander with untrained witchwarper capabilities accidentally makes odd adjustments to the local area of reality but as the effects of the last 6 seconds fade, the heroes of our story find Nako not wrapped up by the defeated banner and the string of light no longer moves. The witchwarper, named Gee-ehmm, sheepishly slinks away and silently vows to train harder at controlling his powers.

The nearby festival goers cheer!


The aquamarine furred skittermander that was saved in the attack hugs her heroes and gives them a credstick with 1000 credits as thanks for their timely intervention before rushing off to safety.

But chaos still reigns within Central Common and the crew of Nakonechkin Salvage are drawn to the nearby sounds of more festival-goers crying out for help. There is no time to rest as the pleas lead them to a wide area between two stalls...


Someone needs help! Must Hurry! Let's Go!

Dakoyo will run towards the direction of the crying.


"But my beautiful fur!" Gaz protests he tries to keep pace with the others, while his many hands furiously try to comb out the thoroughly tussled fur after all of that wrestling.

Event 2: Armor Clash

As the heroes approach the merchant area where they hear the loudest sounds of danger, a pahtra runs in the opposite direction shouting.

The armor! The armor just came to life! Run!!

Another surprised shout echoes from ahead where a merchant stall with the name "Steelclaw Armory" has a vesk laying on the ground under a pair of heavy mannequins. She sees the approaching skittermanders and weakly tries to wave them away for their own safety.

Just then, a suit of armor crafted in the malevolent style of the infamous Hellknights steps forward toward the prone vesk. Quonx's keen mechanic eye notes the slight sheen of infused nanites prompting its movements. The armor lifts its arm with a built in energy weapon towards the vesk!

Heroes? Help!

The armor aims its arm at the prone vesk and an integrated laser gun shoots the helpless target. Blood pools about while the body still occasionally twitches and heaves a ragged sigh.

Helpers now jump into action!

Inspiring Boost for +13 SP for the Vesk. If he's dead or doesn't have a stamina pool, then I'll leave the healing to the mystic and fire a shot instead. Either way, Get Em on the armor.

Armor Clash round 2

Gazigaz's combat prompting words and pistol shot hit home and Nako's charge pays off with a savage hit. The animated armor does shrug off a small amount of the doshko's energy but still wobbles from the heavy hit.

The bleeding vesk continues to have more of her inside liquids leak to the outside and her breathing becomes even slower. First aid or something like that might help.

Going to move over to the Vesk and cast Mystic Cure at 1st level.

Mystic Cure: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8


Waves of mystical energy wash over the vesk, the entry and exit wounds closing up and bloodflow stopping. Her eyes flicker open a bit then quickly close again as she sees the animated armor still nearby.

The hellknight armor turns its focus to Nako and winds up for a savage backhand...

slam attack vs KAC: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (18) + 15 = 33

bludgeoning damage: 1d6 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12

...delivering a crushing blow!

Quonx skillfully and brazenly fiddles with the settings on her gun battery, very much voiding the manufacturer's warranty but boosting its energy output exponentially and scores a sizzling direct hit. But the material of the armor resists a small amount of the shot.
