Recruitment for this

This is for Game Day IX

Vigilant Seal

Id like to submit Dorian for this.

Dwarven Fighter

Verdant Wheel

Interested! Very!

Verdant Wheel

I'm considering this for Toadlicker, as well. :)

Goblin Barbarian

Not seeing this in the Game list yet. Only stumbled on the thread by chance.

Nevermind! I see it now. :)

RPG Superstar 2014 Top 16, RPG Superstar 2012 Top 16

Interested. I'm not quite sure what character yet, but I'll have one.

Envoy's Alliance

Interested for Autumn Savella, a level 1 half-elf Bard!

Radiant Oath

Grisaia could join in on this, level 2 cleric.

Dark Archive

Ok, so far we have:
1. Dorian
2. Brynn Bear-Talker
3. Toad Licker
4. <motteditor>
5. Autumn Savella
6. Grisaia Rose...

We'll call that a full game!

I'll get stuff in, like check in stuff, etc.

Verdant Wheel

This actually looks like a pretty good group. Motteditor could literally drop in just about anything without much issue. :)

Dark Archive

Just a heads up that Recruitment for the GD9 games doesn't open till the 12th.

Dark Archive

It has been discussed with Tyraneus

Vigilant Seal

most excellent.

Vigilant Seal

1. Dorian 1st Dwarf Fighter.
2. Brynn Bear-Talker 4th Half-Elf Druid with Leshy Familiar
3. Toad Licker 2nd Goblin Barbarian
4. <motteditor> ??
5. Autumn Savella 1st Half-Elf Bard
6. Grisaia Rose.. 2nd Half-Orc Cleric

Verdant Wheel

I have lower level options too. Specifically:
- Human Rogue/2
- Iruxi Fighter/2
- Human Bard/1
- Human Cleric/1

Given the group make-up I'll probably switch to the Rogue

Verdant Wheel

You play what works for you.

If you play your Druid, I suspect that we'll all wind up with a boost.

Verdant Wheel

Well, I try to play the nature-y scenarios with this PC. I guess this scenario fits that profile?

GM, care to tip the scale for me here?

Dark Archive

I am gonna say play what you think will be fun

However, I would also say that folks should be picking up their faction’s mentor boons

Verdant Wheel

Fair enough. And I will get the mentor boon for this game.

RPG Superstar 2014 Top 16, RPG Superstar 2012 Top 16

Trying to figure out what to play; I have a swashbuckler idea that I like but also kind of want to see if I can get a good witch concept (since that feels like a good class for the party, but also a fun choice for the adventure). I'll try to decide soon.

Vigilant Seal

waiting patiently for the next step

Verdant Wheel

It'll be a bit of a wait, as Gameday starts at the beginning of September.

Just what has?

Verdant Wheel

Having a bit more play time under me where 1 PC at 4th level has significantly impacted the challenge for a table of 1-2s, I will for sure switch to the Rogue.

Vigilant Seal

yeah realize it dost start til Sep 12th. figured wed move to a discussion thread or something though ;)

1. Dorian 1st Dwarf Fighter.
2. Brynn Bear-Talker 2nd Human Rogue
3. Toad Licker 2nd Goblin Barbarian
4. <motteditor> ??
5. Autumn Savella 1st Half-Elf Bard
6. Grisaia Rose.. 2nd Half-Orc Cleric

Horizon Hunters

This is my 2nd level rogue.

Radiant Oath

I'll be looking into the APG when it arrives this week, as Grisaia hasn't been played yet and is at 2nd due to pregen credit. Her 1E build was glaive and armor with a focus on buff spells. Any advice on translating to 2E is welcome.

Verdant Wheel

Not too many options, as a cleric, so I guess that it depends on how you wanted to do it.

At the most basic level, you'd probably go with the Warpriest Doctrine, for the armor, and martial weapons at second level. If you're a cleric of Shelyn, then you can take the Glaive right away.

Beyond that, it depends on what else you want to do.

Dark Archive

Discussion thread is open.

We start Sept 1

GM Silbeg:
Looks like your last player is level 1, by my calculations, this puts the group at 18 challenge points and therefore playing down with the latest adjustments. Just checking as not everyone saw that there were retroactive adjustments for the 16-18 point range with more than 4 players.

** spoiler omitted **

We’ve been moving up and down.... and 3 weeks is a long time

I don’t actually calculate until I actually start the game

That being said, it is my opinion that all characters should spend 2 fame for a mentor boon, and 4 fame for a wayfinder, at the minimum. Both show understanding of the campaign, and Cooperation.

We’ve been moving up and down.... when we had a potential level 4 it would have likely been high tier. 3 weeks is a long time, so I expect it to change at least once more
