With Paritosh
Paritosh agrees that the circling devices as intended to keep him and the tribe off-balance and shrugs again, "What can you do? You are here now to figure out the riddles. I go where my massive damage is needed." He shakes his lance in emphasis. "I also must tell you, the beast speaker makes excellent healing potions. They have sustained me.
Once you arrive at her house and she has the gist of your findings, Earth Speaker Mornam is focused on the initiation rituals of three potential new tribe members but it is obvious she is most excited by Terex, having never initiated any of the dragon-kind before. In laying out the ritual, she sometimes forgets Marella and Minna but Rollo and Arlo respective make sure they get all the details.
Minna picks a round rock and levitates it above her hand using a gnomish trick. Arlo coach her a bit in lighting a fire and while she stumbles a bit, she's able to get it. She joins with Marella in putting words to Terex' thought-song. Finally, she struggles with the dream for a while until finally getting it.
In the dream. Mornam again casts "mind to stone" to allow Lady Lyra to take part. Once in dream, as mentioned, the Oomsatta clan is able fully encompass the experience of the party in finding the Forge Of The Earth. In the dream world, the attention of the tribe is fixed on the different party members like a light, though the council of five; the Hetman, the Chief, The Beast Speaker, The Plant Speaker, and The Earth Speaker "stand" closest.
The Hetman and the Council of Five agree that sending an advance party is an excellent idea - they will send 30 of the best Oomsatta hunters. Three days is short notice - it may actually take four or five days to assemble the group. It would be appropriate if at least some of the party accompany them group. And the way underground sounds quite dangerous given the purple worm (in dream time, you'd have trouble hold back that detail if you wanted to). They are think the worm must be dealt with or the overland rout taken (it's only 2-3 days walk). And the things harassing groups outside Oomsatta territory also need to be dealt with.
Further, the laws of the Oomsatta dictate that tribespeople claiming to be refugees must be dealt with fairly. However, the Council of Five agrees that the party should thoroughly investigate the halfling refugees before they are allowed into the tribe. Still, these three also seem skilled and might help in these times so they can't simply be dismissed.
Thus it is agreed that in the morning, the party will set out for the village of Merva to talk to the halflings. And so after a few intense hours, the group sleeps, save for Lady Lyra who simply wakes from the dream.
Then in the morning, early, the group rises and goes North, passes the main village, Narmashan (D on the map) walks on the path over The Spine to the traveler village of Merva and head to Spider House where the halflings are reputed to be staying. However, Noko, who oversees the travelers' houses tell you that Oto, Tim and Barri, the three halflings left for Narmashan - taking the road you just came down! (and you no one).
At that point, you hear a familiar voice, "Friend, you have returned, you must tell me of your adventures. You see Armaund before you with one of his men. Both look newly arrive and must worse for the wear, perhaps even aged a bit and their multiply torn and sewn up clothes, guns scratched and dented, and both visibly tired. Still, Armaund has his voluble personality.
Lady Lyra Anna Fitzroy
Lady Lyra walks up to Armaund, looking him and his companion up and down.
Then point-blank to him.
"Drop the pretense Armaund I know what you are. And right now I want to know are you here fighting the Chanclers schemes or are you part of them?"
Her eyes lock in his,
"Because what happens next very much depends on what your answer is'
Terexaltherin, Pseudodragon
Lyra! Terex speaks only to the android with his telepathy. Don't jump straight to it like that! It's better to show only the tips of your fangs with your smile, you know.
Probably be Monday before I get the rest of his initiation done. XD
GM Hansj
Armaund tells his companion to wait for him by the side of Wolf House, where you encountered him, and takes Lyra and the rest of the party on a walk a short distance away.
"First let me say, I'm certainly not working for the Chancellor and the Free Lands now, let me tell you. " (said with a burst of anger).
He takes a deep breath and begins to tell his story. "I have been among humans for a long time now. Sometime I don't know if I'm dragon who dreams he's human or human who dreams he's a dragon... He tells of working as a trader for hundreds of year in the area, and needing to return to this land to find deposit of rare minerals as well as fire... How he considered his work honest and respectable and always paid his men well and stayed neutral in any battles for territory that humans, dragons, or Oomsatta might engage in.
Still, he paid an unknown source for information about mineral deposits in the mountains (Agate, Copper, Silver, gold, adamantum, occasionally orichalcum). He assumed that source was another dragon, more integrated into human society. Perhaps, probably, the present Chancellor. His informant went by "Chron" and always came hidden or left message. Still, the information paid off over many years - he would dig up deposits with his human companions, consume some of minerals, take some to Chron and keep the rest to spend as a human.
In the most recent expedition, his source described a source of much orichalcum, an unusually rich vein (a metal he knows is prized by mages as well as dragons). But this apparently meant trouble. "The expedition I invited you on was like many of the others ... at the start. The first ill-omen was the weather, then the body of the dragon Mythial. Then you deserted (which I can now understand). Finally when got to the site, Mythial's mate, mad with anger, nearly attacked my men but shewed her away. Then when we started digging, we found out that the location where we excavated didn't contain simply orichalcum but also some cosmic horror that my informant apparently wanted released (and I assume they expected it to slay me and my men and open the way for it). Osmand and Balboa were slain but they underestimated me. Perhaps they believed I was simply human. I reburied the horror and transported the rest of my men, effectively revealing myself, though some of them don't want to believe, which is fine. Further on the way back, we've been tormented by tricks and traps from agents of my informant, little mechanical devices appeared demanding we turn over our hard-won orichalcum. Thus died Mortimor. So if you too are here to demand orichalcum in the name of Free Land laws, you will still find some fight here, I think. " But he relaxes and smiles. "But something tells me you are not here for that and we might something in common. How can I help you?"

To Terex
::"Normally I would Terex, but in this case your just going to have to trust me, I have a feeling about this one"::
She listened to him and takes it for the truth. She had suspected for a while he was not working for the Chancellor but she needed to know and know now. Time was getting critical.
"I believe you Armaund, and as you have been truthful with us so, we shall be with you. But only you, Terex mind link please, just us and Armaund"
My hope is Terex will to do this, if not she will just talk to him
"You guess right, I assessed that someone as intelligent as yourself would begin to suspect things about us and what is going on here. So, let me tell you the truth and let you decide. The thing you dug up and this being, this Chancellor, they are part of a war unimaginably big. A conflict scratching the multiverse itself. They stand on one side, a side that seeks destruction, Choas and obligation. We, we stand on the other, fighting to keep order, peace, and stability. We are here to save a race, and we are very close to doing that but as you can guess we have obstacles in our way.::
She stops a moment to let that sink in.
::"Right about now you're asking yourself why am I telling you all this. Well, it's simple, I have a feeling you want to help, that recent events have pushed you off that fence you were trying so hard to stay on. Could have been you had started to suspect this Chancellor, meeting us, or facing that doomsday weapon you dug up. It's why you came back here to find us, why your standing here and instead of heading off for a greener pasture. There is no profit here anymore that is unless profit no longer motivates you. If any of my fellows wish to add more, please feel free, and I suspect Armaund has a lot of questions you would be much better at answering."::
She stopped there, Arlo she hopped would know what she was doing, she had done it before and would no doubt if she lived through this, do it again. she was Recruiting. She walked off a little wase and talking out her rail gun, used its scope to see if they had company coming.
Rollo Qantas
Well done, Lady Lyra! I totally agree with you.
Rollo shakes his head once the information comes in that the halfling group has disappeared.
This is further conviction that our enemies are moving quickly. We have many paths laid out before us.
The dhampir informs Armaund of everything pertinent to the mission here.
Rollo places a hand on the mercenary's shoulder in friendship.
We believe that we can save the Oomsatta. The link between your people and Them is truly amazing; and, I believe is the lynchpin that will allow success.
He looks him in the eyes.
I would like to invite the Dragons to accompany the Exodus to greener pasture, as it were.
Rollo then steps back a bit.
If I may suggest. It seems that we will need to make a safe path for the Oomsatta to reach the Forge. We may need to split our forces a bit to better neutralize all these immediate threats at the same time.
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (9) + 16 = 25
Marella Galanis
That afternoon, Marella engages in the preparatory steps for the dream journey.
Finding a patch of the gosmin weed, she finds it no so odd to have to ask a plant for something. The elves she had fought alongside in the other world had had great respect for all Nature's forms.
I need to pluck you. I have no choice. It is for a greater mission.
Diplomacy:
1d20 - 1 ⇒ (2) - 1 = 1
Marella gets the feeling that her words are completely inappropriate but plucks the weed, anyway. I never was one for sweet talk,
she thinks.
She then decided to seek out a small round stone, flat on one side, like the ones she used to skip across the river when she was young.
Perception:
1d20 + 16 ⇒ (10) + 16 = 26
Marella finds a reasonably good stone after only a brief period of searching.
She then looks to gather small pieces of wood for a fire and takes out her flint and steel. Hunches over the little pile of twigs, she assays to kindle a fire.
Survival:
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 20
Years of self-sufficiency while taking solo scouting trips allow her to bring flame to life.
An appetizer for a dragon.
Unsure of exactly what words she should focus on, the first chant to come to mind is a dirge she has sung far too many times. But it seems appropriate: so many friends fallen live on in her.
Spring brings the victor to slay darkness,
Summer burns with unsheathed light,
Fall cuts the leaf in twain,
And undying frost covers the grave
Will save:
1d20 + 12 ⇒ (18) + 12 = 30
Marella quickly falls into a trance and is swept into the dreaming.
Gonna try to finish this tomorrow. On the subject of plans, Marella thinks that with preparation, and attacking from hiding, slaying the purple worm might not be out of the question.
GM Hansj
Not too much action, hopefully people will all catch up on the plot...
Armaund is usually thoughtful for a minute as Lady Lyra and Rollo explain the situation to him.
"You may not aware of it but to the dragons who defend these hills, I am an outlander, one who has surrendered their territory forever. I would not be one to make a pact with the others ... but if new territory were in offing, hot and dry. Hmm... This plan is audacious, perhaps insane but dragons are creatures of fire, driven by unpredictable urges. So this plan might be exactly what is needed and I might be able to aid it. I have never been a man for joining organizations but I will align with you for now... I know of Math, he is a clever even for our kind and would one to negotiate this. But I may be to help too" stops again... "But these halflings and who left just before our appearance... tell me of them and the gnomes. I feel we should move quickly and find them but where are they headed? What do you think. You still have the radio. I can fly invisibly by air while you scan the ground but we still need a direction."
You could guess that if these are the gnomes (and it seems a reasonable guess) then they are headed to the main village by some alternate rout since they are aiming for initiation. If you wish start tracking them. Survival rolls
Terexaltherin, Pseudodragon
I can't link you directly, but I can repeat what one of you says to the other, Terex replies to Lyra's request, then proceeds to do so. Though not without first adding a comment, You're lucky he's not working with the wrong side with that approach.
Once he's no longer needed as a repeater, the little dragon adds, It is awfully suspicious that those 'halflings' disappeared right before we arrived. They must have a way of observing us. We'll need to move fast once we have a direction.
Survival: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 He's not much help with tracking, I'm afraid. XD
Lady Lyra Anna Fitzroy
"Luck, I don't believe in luck, only 'adds' and the adds where he wants to do what is right."
She winks at him.
======
She wanks now up to Armaund, her railgun slung over her shoulder.
Unhooking the coms unit from her belt she hands it to him.
"The Gnomes are using an encrypted code on Channel 17.
A fellow dragon is on 8, you can triangulate with his unit to get a bearing."
GM Hansj
The question of the location of the "halflings" seems critical and the party asks the various Oomsatta around the area and checks carefully for footprints going in the direct of "The Spine", the steep hill between the Narmashan and Merva (where you are). Arlo easily picks up a winding trail where someone bushwhacked their way in approximate parallel to the trail to Narmashan. Maintaining contact with Armaund and his men by radio, you start following the group approximately half-an hour behind them and double time to catch up to the group in about 45 minutes, going up the spine and halfway down. At the point you see three halflings, pushing a path before them with fairly stiff movements.
Armaund has moved in parallel to you along the path, and so he it is actually close to Narmashan at this point. During this time, he discussed the situation with the dragon Math by radio and they seem very interested in Lady Lyra's plan.
Even if you don't make the roll, you characters have a right to be suspicious.
Arlo Brighthammer
Perception: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (5) + 15 = 20
"Lady Lyra," Arlo began, "I found some halflings, but they don't look right. Maybe under a spell or curse."
Marella Galanis
Marella sinks more deeply into the dreaming.
She is in deep woods. She spies a tall elf with long blond hair dressed in brown pants and black cuirass: his hand rests on the pommel of his sword.
Part of Marella knows that this is not her dead lover, Ethelas. For all, that, she is overjoyed to see him.
"What took you so long?" he says, turning to face her, his green eyes meeting her brown ones.
She hurries forward that swats him on the shoulder. He feels real enough. Maybe he is in a way, always with me.
She swears at him. "You a@*@%! That arrow wouldn't have killed me anyway."
"We'll never know." His voice is somber; his face holds a grin. "This up here, around that tree, is where you're supposed to go."
"In short order." If time has any meaning here. Marella stays to exchange the small talk that had always held greater meaning for them. She finally turns to go and calls over her shoulder, "Until the last time."
"Until the last time," he replies.
Marella walks to the tall tree and turns. The landscape around her changes, and she finds herself in that huge space of the dreaming where the Oomsatta go. She says nothing but strides forward.
Lady Lyra Anna Fitzroy
When Armaund tells them about how the Dragons like the idea, she says.
"Rollo and Terexal I'm tasking you with getting whatever Dragons what to come with us on board with Armaund, Rollo I feel you are right, the Oomsatta and Dragons are linked."
When Arlo comes and tells her he has found the halflings.
"Alright, we best get a closer look, Who wants to get close and see just what they are?"
Terexaltherin, Pseudodragon
Perception: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (15) + 13 = 28
Terex pops up into the air and takes a brief look ahead before diving back down to the party.
I think this is another decoy, he announces. These are constructs, not living beings. Likely they've gone by another way. They have an airship, don't they?
Lady Lyra Anna Fitzroy
"Thanks Terexal, Well they show their hand, they know they have to join the tribe, its why they just keep trying to pull us away from the Village, so, everyone back, we head back there, that's where they will hit,"
Terexaltherin, Pseudodragon
Going back to the dream
Will: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14
Terexaltherin finds the whole dream experience… difficult. He had thought his experience with telepathy would help him, but instead the fact that it’s just similar enough to be entirely different trips him up.
Rather than the memory he’d been hoping to revisit, he found himself in the memory of his last day with Usim, the wizard to whom he’d served as a familiar. It had been an argument, one that had as much to do with him leaving little claw marks on all their books as it did with his increasing desire for independence.
He saw, this time, how… he hadn’t exactly been at his best. In fact, Terex felt rather ashamed of how he’d reacted to the whole situation. Maybe… maybe he should apologize the next time he saw Usim.
As the scene drew to a close, he found himself in the shared dream of the Oomsata.
Lady Lyra Anna Fitzroy
Her circuitry glows for a second and then she starts to run at a steady 20' a second or 13.6364mph and she does not slow or stop until she is back at the village.
GM Hansj
Lady Lyra takes off... and Rollo hails Armaund, who had circled invisibly head of the party. You have never seen Armaund in dragon form ... and you don't now (unless you see invisible) but you here the flapping of wings and party member is gently grasped by a hand-like-claw (and Minna cling to Arlo and the elbow of the best). Armaund is invisible but personal invisibility so you are not (unless you've got your own invisibility).
Then, the party flies literally or metaphorically back to Merva while a strange sight awaits you... a largish group of Oomsatta are standing in group looking at the central ceremonial octogon where a globe, like a giant soap bubble has appeared (about 20' in diameter). The inside of the globe is half filled by the form of a giant metal scorpion but inside you the figure of an Oomsatta, possibly the hetman, attempting to dodge the scorpion as it leaps around the globe with surprising speed.
On top of the globe, you see the figure of ... a gnome, you're not sure if it's Quizzel, shouting and jumping up and down.
Approaching within 200' feet, you here "and if you do not immediately grant me and my companion tribal membership by aclimation, I shall unleash the furry of my toy, first on your hetman and then on the entire Oomsatta tribe... the choice is yours." (unless do invisible or stealth) " What? Some interlopers!" The other gnomes are not immediately visible though you guess they're nearby.
See battle map of Merva. Note each 15' so I can cover a large area.
Arlo Brighthammer
"You piece of fu<king $hit!" Arlo rants. "Let me guess. As a child who never got invited to birthday parties, you would create mechanical critters to threaten the entire party, if the birthday boy or girl didn't let you into their precious party," the dwarf began to belittle the gnome. "Boo-FU<KING-Hoo! I swear to the gods if that barrier goes down, I'm gonna ram my longsword straight through your a$$hole, and dance you around like a FU<KING PUPPET!!!"

Marella assesses the situation then lets go of the dragon.
Where the party's X is

Then she walks thirty feet west to near the base of the octagon, looking all around for the remaining gnomes.

Perception:

Terexaltherin, Pseudodragon
Terex is not too happy to be carried by a big dragon, but he has to admit that it's faster than he could do by a large degree. And when he sees what the gnome has gotten up to, he can't help but broadcast a sense of disgust mingled with anger.
He himself vanishes from sight and spreads his wings shortly before Armaund touches down, invisibly circling around to prepare himself to attack from a different direction.
He cast vanish, so it'll only last for 9 rounds.

Arlo draws his holy longsword and advances on the tech-gnome and his barrier.

Rollo nods in gratitude--and respect--to Armaund. The dhampir enjoys the ride immensely!
Once the the group arrives at the chaotic scene, Rollo does indeed cast Invisibility on himself.
The Sage then studies the Force field with a keen eye for such things.

The field is made of Force. Not easy to penetrate.
Rollo also jumps off of their ride; only to float easily down next to Marella.
You got anything that can get us by that?
The Sage joins her on the ground.
GM Hansj
Marella takes in the area with keen eyes, each detail sharp and focused. And by this sharp scan, she realizes there are three gnome shaped distortions in the area around near the dome - magically invisible figures (red circles in updated map - odd, you thought there were only three remaining gnomes total...). Marella also notes Armaund in dragon form flies behind a nearby building. The building nearest the green circle.
Taken a bit aback by Arlo's rant, gnome on the top of the bubble softens his tirade, slightly "We only wish the Orichalcum that has been promised us. We can take it from the Forge of the Earth or you can find that rascal Armaund. With that, we can leave your world. I think it would take ten of your together to initiate my companions. And new rascals showing up won't help. We are the Tricksters Of The Gods" And with that, he gestures and a net springs in the direction of Rollo and Lady Lyra (Dex save 22 or be entangled, whoever is in the green circle area).
Arlo advances to the edge of the dome, sword in hand. The dome is smooth and 15' high (a 20' dome partly embedded in the earth) so it's kind of a challenge how to get up. The gray sword is buzzing though you sense the construct in front of you is ... supernaturally chaotic, swirling with the energy of Pandemonium.
The scorpion inside the dome stops moving the hetman raise his club slightly.
A couple Oomsatta raise their arms, as if to try to placate the gnomes.
Marella Galanis
Marella calls out, "Three invisible gnomes! Two north, one northwest!
As she shouts the warning, Marella flies over to Arlo, picks him up--with a bit of difficulty--and flies him to the top of the dome.
She calls to her unworldly patron for judgement against her foes.
Floating in the air behind Arlo, she quickly casts a spell. Immediately, Marella feels a surge like lightning through her veins.

Arlo is only slightly surprised by being pickup. Feeling the buff spell after being set down on the dome, Arlo shouts, "The minute you threaten the Oomsatta, was the minute you became my enemy!"
Little confused like always. We want to bring down the barrier to destroy the Pandemonium construct? Or keep the barrier up?
Terexaltherin, Pseudodragon
We do want to bring the barrier down and save the Hetman
Oh, I have something for that! Terex mentally informed his allies.
He angles his flight to be near where Marella had indicated the gnomes were. As he does he slips a scroll out of his scroll case. Once the little dragon is in position, he casts a simple spell to help him read his scroll.
Casting read magic this round--next round he'll read his scroll of invisibility purge, unless someone else has easy access to something that would make the gnomes visible.

Linked to map above and here
When Arlo slices at the dome, it shakes and cascade of rainbows goes through it. It hold but it's clearly a bit weaker than it appear.
When Rollo's glitterdust explodes on the other side of dome, you see three gnomes in gaudy leather regalia, something like the Hell's Angels meets neon green and orange exercise wear. Two look fairly young and one seems maybe middle-aged. All three look insane, their faces alternate between glee and anger. But their mirth seems to dominate, the middle-aged shouts "I think we've flushed out the real problem, probably some miserable minions of Zorlander or Ari Shadowfire, get-um fido and you too." (by voice, this is Quizzel) And at the point, the "gnome" on the rainbow dome grows to approximately 10' in height and leaps to attack Arlo, now looking like metal, mechanical troll - clawing Arlo for 11 point of Damage and biting him for 15 pt damange.
Then with a gesture from the second gnomes, the dome vanishes and the metal scorpion rushes at Rollo, stinging him for 14 points of damage (plus fort save 20 or lose 2 dex). Also, the hetman takes a swipe at the metal Scorpio as it rushes away, and Arlo and the metal troll come crashing back down from where the dome used to be - Arlo take 4 pt falling damage plus reflex save to avoid falling prone (the metal troll does fall flat on it's face, prone).
The third gnome removes an umbrella and tiny propeller from somewhere and starting up the contraption, begins flying away at 40' as the other two gnomes grab a hold (they wind-up 10' up and 30' away this round).
As the gnome are skirting along the ground, Minna, who has been creeping forward during this, take a swing at the arm of one the younger gnomes, who let screams and falls off the contraption as the other two gnomes go hurdling off.
The Oomsatta now are moving also, a couple jab spears at the metal scorpion but can't seem to affect it.
So Arlo has prone metal troll in front of him, prone and Rollo has metal scorpion in front of him with crowd trying to the thing two. Two gnomes, probably including Quizzel are flying away from the opposite direction the party came from and another gnome is fighting Minna.
Marella Galanis
Upon Lyra's warning, Marella just manages to shut her eyes before the concussive blast hits.
As the metal troll reveals himself and the dome fails, Marella looks around to quickly appraise the situation. She thinks, Lyra has range and can handle those ridiculous gnomes flying away. Terex is near enough to help Rollo. That leaves...
Marella spirals down like a spinning dancer through the air to come at the metal troll from the side opposite Arlo. She slices at the prone, hideous construct with her scimitar Silkshadow, even as she imbues it with power.

Good killer pings it's charged again.
Putting the pistols away, she runs over to the weapon, linking herself again she starts to target the Gnome.
Arlo Brighthammer
Reflex: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16
Despite the damage Arlo took, the dwarf still held his weapon and his footing as he fell. Advancing on the prone techno-troll, Arlo selects it for smite evil ability and attacks the prone opponent.

Terexaltherin, Pseudodragon
Terex narrowly avoids getting caught in the glitterdust himself, having already positioned himself over the gnomes. This, of course, means he's in a good position to do something about them fleeing.
He quickly debates his course of action. He has a number of wands he could use to hurt the gnomes or possibly their construct, but... they seem like the type that stay back and let their constructs be in melee, and they're not as much bigger than him as most.
So maybe his poison will work on them!
Terexaltherin catches up to the flying contraption His fly speed is 60', and he was overhead and grabs onto it right next to maybe-Quizzel. Still invisible, he lashes at the gnome with his stinger-tipped tail.
Sneak attack sting: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (7) + 16 = 23 +2 if they can't see through his invisibility
Damage: 1d2 + 7 + 4d6 ⇒ (1) + 7 + (3, 1, 4, 6) = 22 Ignore the 4d6 if this isn't a sneak attack
If he hits, Quizzel needs to make a DC 17 Fortitude save or fall asleep for one minute. This attack does break Terex's invisibility.
Rollo Qantas
Fort DC 20: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 9 = 21
Rollo winces a bit at the sting; but the dhampir's constitution keeps the poison at bay. He watches the fleeing gnomes. He is about to cast a spell, when he suddenly sees Terex come into view right on top of the gnomes!
Crap!
The Sage then thinks for a mere moment, before deciding on his course on action!
Rollo takes certain measures to avoid any reprisal from the deadly scorpion as he begins to cast Slow at the fleeing gnomes!
Will DC 20
Concentration DC 23: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (2) + 21 = 23
He then winks at the Scorpion.

It would help if you let me know the saving throws of your spells.
Lady Lyra connects with two of her shots on quizzel and Terex connects, barely, with his sting. Quizzel looks only somewhat injured - he's tough and maybe supernaturally enhanced. However, he seems to be slowed by Rollo's spell.
Arlo's sword cuts remarkably effectively through the troll's metal hide and does considerable damage, though it's clearly quite tough.
Minna knocks down the gnome she's fighting and skewers him again as he hobbles to his feet, shouting "This is for the weeks you tormented me!" (24 pts of damage from two attacks). Minna seems suddenly in her element.
The Hetman draws a revolver, and takes a bead at the metal scorpion, putting a bullet hole in it's back (6 pts of damage). Three Oomsatta with spears are now also poking at it but futilely.
Quizzel is visibly slowed but the umbrella thing continues it's progress at 40'. Quizzel take scroll from a compartment - no attack of opportunity but that's all he can do. The other, not-slowed, gnome shouts curses and tosses a strange metal ball at lady Lyra, which bounces once and then expands to 10' diameter as it approaches (reflex save 20 or take 24 points of damage and be knocked prone, 12 points otherwise).
The scorpion again jumps at Rollo, with both it's claws and sting, hitting with a claw and sting for 8 and 20 points (plus fort save 20 again or lose 1 dex).
The Metal Troll stands (oo) and takes a swipe at Arlo, missing.
Rollo is furthest back, trying to dodge the scorpion, Lady Lyra is a bit closer to the square. Arlo is in square, right in front of the 10' metal troll-thing, Arlos you get a second attack on it - remember full round. AND you get an attack of opportunity. Minna is a few feet further towards the gnomes, fighting one with her telescoping rapier. Terex is now visible, next to the fleeing gnomes.
