Ooh yeah, I totally forget about that! UK (Europe?) biscuits look more like some form of cookie or wafer, to me.

GM, the guard's ?colloquialism? in response to us entering felt so right! Not only did I chuckle, it just felt like something someone on Golarion would say, you know?
It was also excellently meta, damn!

^Agreed. I didn't comment at the time but I did favorite the post because it got a good belly laugh out of me :)

I think we could get costumes for both the Pathfinder League and Murder-Hobo Incorporated ;)

I've returned to work today! The first week back is always a doozy, apologies in advance if my posting is sub-par or I miss a day!

It'll cost you 375 gp for a speak with dead scroll. That's all the temple has: scrolls.

Nearly two thirds of our putative reward! Plus difficult to cast for any of us. Looks like we're doing this the old fashioned way, gumshoes!
Helvetica Boots

Haha, this one threw me through a loop. Zu, how the hell did you "bebop" down the stairs? Have you been keeping a saxophone from us this whole time?! :) ;)

He keeps it in his hammerspace pumpkin head :3
Oh wait no, that's PF2...

Ha! I could have SWORN there were more bodies. I've really been struggling with my reading comprehension lately, yikes!

No worries Helvetica! I actually had to go back and double-check to make sure that the sheriff really did say that only two people were spotted fleeing the shop and not three before I had Zu comment on the unaccounted-for 4th skulk.
Of course while it's occurred to Zu's player that Rogi may also be an unreliable narrator for at least two different reasons, it's not really occurred to Zu (yet) :)

Hey guys, I've been feeling a bit run-down lately and have spent a fair bit of my free time sleeping and catching up on sleep. This is my weekend to work though and so I'll aim to get a post done either before I head to work tonight or perhaps later in the evening if my shift isn't too busy; feel free to bot me though if necessary. Thanks for your patience!

All Aurora needed was a 3... or one of you to succeed at Aiding her...
I'll be back to describe the resultant mayhem.

We're just a hot mess. Floundering chaos, flailing away at anything and everything. Rebels without a cause, maybe? Probably not heroes though ;)

Long day with Open House (parents meet the teachers, so we have to put on a bit of a dog and pony show) after school today, so no posts. Please bot as needed!

Oh, I forgot to post here. I'm going for surgery tomorrow, so we'll be a bit delayed moving the round.

With a mighty uppercut, the leshy punches the townie squarely in the eggs.
Is it bad that I immediately thought of this?
Also amusing because the (joking) question of whether or not leshys have 'nards' came up in one of my recently-completed PFS2 games...

I know we are level one, but I'm not super feeling Helvetica's build here. I've another sorcerer who has basically gone through a similar type of build where their saving throws are the end all be all for their effectiveness.
I've been poking around at some stuff and think a summoner with a serpentine azata eidolon that uses a bow could be interesting. Related question: the serpentine base form has a climb speed. The azata subtype gives that base form arms. Since the base form could climb without arms to begin with, does that mean a serpentine azata can climb while shoot a bow? Or, at the least, climb with free hands, then draw the bow and shoot while clinging to something? It is a cool image and makes sense to me, but I figured I'd ask!
Aurora Arulius

Dunno about Hel's build, but I like her personality :) It's rubbing off on Aurora a little.
Plenty of creatures have a climb speed and no arms, and since snakes are one example I'd say a serpentine eidolon with arms keeps its hands free when climbing.
Calamitous Zu
|
I'd agree with Aurora's interpretation that a serpentine eidolon with arms could use its natural climb speed and keep its hands/arms free for other things.
I also like Hel's personality and encourage a build-switch (when/where appropriate) if that would make her more fun to play mechanically!
GM Blake
I still think you should look at the protean summoner. :)
On Climb, the ability directly references the skill and makes no exceptions to the skill's requirement of having "both" hands free, nor does the serpentine base form as far as I can tell. You're just not penalized for having less than 2 arms. However, if you have 4 arms, it makes sense that you can use 2 of them (or 3 if staying still).

^^^^^^ This is what gave me pause, should have mentioned that too! The constrictor snake has a climb speed and any of the serpentine eidolons who aren't granted limbs still have a climb speed.
I saw the climb skill rules too and it, as you mentioned GM Blake, very clearly says hands. But as mentioned above, I don't know how it is meant to work when hands are the add on feature to an already existent climb speed... I could also just burn the evolution points for extra arms if needed, nbd.
I like Hel's personality too, just the mechanics that are bugging me :) Glad y'all are enjoying her! I looked at the Protean subtype, but my concern is that it is clearly meant to grapple, yet only has a 12 Str -_- I love the flavor more (I think Keketars are really cool!), but I just don't see it working well in practice.
EDIT: I searched like three threads for what you said before about a protean summoning build GM Blake, but can't find anything... Am I imagining that you've said this before or just looking in the wrong place?

Remember you can use legal Summoner archetypes that still work with Unchained Summoner. :)

Oh my...
I went down a build rabbit hole (it was like an hour and a half) and have only just emerged! That's really fun. I had fun building out a Morphic Savant with the Protean subtype :) So much flexibility!
With three protean eidolons (only one out at a time), I have the bipedal one focusing on grappling/control, a small serpentine one focusing on scouting, but no idea what to do with the quadrupedal one... I was thinking a mount, but that doesn't really work until it can afford the large evolution. The "standard" build is for pounce, but I think the bipedal one already has combat done pretty well. Maybe something that focuses on one big attack instead of grappling/many attacks?
EDIT: Tanky with one "big" attack is what I settled on, unless someone has a crazy awesome idea that trounces it ;)

Hello,
I wanted to start off with an apology and an explanation for my absence. Last week we had a family emergency that mandated a rapid and unplanned road trip. I left without my laptop or tablet and didn't have any way to post. Sorry again, but I am back now.
Helvetica Boots

Ditto, sorry to hear that mate! You've been missed, but glad to hear you're back now :)

Not feeling well tonight (no COVID symptoms, just can't think and I'm exhausted). Please bot me as needed and thank you for your patience.

Ok! Any word from Tibitz?
Not on my end of things and he's been a player at one of my long-running tables, too.
GM Blake
His rapid and unplanned road trip may have lasted longer than he hoped?
Feel free, one of you, to self-nominate yourself as botter.
GM Blake
I had instinctively thought to give you a rogue pregen to fill in for Tibitz, but I you do have a choice in which pregen you'd prefer, so let me know if you'd like a different pregen.
GM Blake
I’ll warn you just to set expectations: the arrest is a fixed event that is actually written with the expectation that the PCs are busy investigating Braeton. I’ll write it out so you can read it, but you can’t really affect it.
Calamitous Zu

Alchemist pregen is fine with me!
Also thanks for the heads-up re: arrest, GM. I tend to think of those sorts of scenes as akin to a cutscene in a video game.

Seconded, thanks for the heads up! We can let off on the Sheriff for a bit then ;)

Merry Christmas and happy holidays to everyone.
I linked Damiel's sheet in the campaign header material.
Don't forget some of you are walking around with wounds *cough*.

Merry Christmas! :D

Thanks GM, is anyone eager to run him? I'm willing to bot Damiel in combat if nobody else wants to.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, or Happy Friday, if you prefer! I hope everyone has/is having a fantabulous day no matter what you're doing or what you celebrate :)

As this is a long-term group I want to give y'all the heads up that I've recently made the decision to stop PbPing for personal reasons. I'll be posting a proper goodbye when the time comes, but I've had to post this in other games so I figured I'd let y'all know too.
