A few notes for myself, that I don't mind sharing to you all.
Figuring out the challenge points for this group, we have:
- Castanamir (Level 1)
- Reinholdt (Level 1)
- Tybekk (Level 2)
- <insert PC for Matt> (Level 1)
The math for this is you take the Base Level (the minimum level allowed for the scenario) and set that value at 2. And PC who is at the Base Level counts as 2 Challenge Points. For every level above that they add a Challenge Point.
In this case, the math is 2+2+3+2=9 Challenge Points. We are well below the 16+ Challenge Points needed to play high sub-tier, so we play low. Since all the scaling up that occurs in the 1-2 sub-tier for this scenario happens at 10 Challenge Points, we're playing sans adjustments as well.

Performance (Earn Income): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23

Earn income -- Lore (undead): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
...no one wants much to hear about the Fall of Lastwall.
