Upon reaching the graveyard, Ajax casts Barkskin (+3 AC) on himself and Kevlor. He also asks Petra to use his wand of mage armor on Ara. Ajax then wands Longstrider on himself and Shield Companion on Ara. Ajax also cast Gravity Bow (9 minutes) and recalls the spells on his Pearl of Power.

shallow crater. Noxious fumes billow up from several vents at
the base of the crater.

You easily track the Kitrangian to its lair. . . as you approach the demon has what look to be five fiendish aurochs with it.

Enemy Insight is a minute/level, but I'm fine with casting it as my first action. I will have already cast GB and used a Pearl of Power lvl 1 to recall the spell. I'll put my min/lvl spells at 7 minutes left and my 1 hr spells at 45mn. I also cast Life Bubble on the party some time ago..

Against the demon, add +4 to all of these.

If they are Animals for Recall Knowledge, then that would be a 21 total. I want to know if aurochshave a trample or charge type of attack. Ajax has two bags of caltrops and wondering if I should throw them down.

"Mind that heard of aurochs, something tells me they are likey to charge us. A well placed grease spell might be our best defense."

Since Ajax will come up again before the demon, I'll move now.

Ajax advances with the rest of the party, and readies an arrow to fire at the demon if it attempts to cast another spell.

With the fiendish template added they become outsiders, but either way you'd know- they DO have special trample attack, but it only counts if 3 or more make the ordinary trample combat ability in the same round while adjacent so with this few of them they don't have enough to use it (called "stampede")

@Grel: if you move 5 feet less, you get a +4 bonus to AC from Juniper. Spike Stones has range of Medium anyway. PLUS, you get like EIGHT of those 20-ft squares, not just one.

With a smirk Petra balances the bead on a fingertip for a moment before sending it sailing towards the demon. The two Aurochs closest to the demon are also engulfed in the eruption of flame.

Petra sends the fireball, and watches as the second aurochs down incinerates in the blast.

The next aurochs, closest to the demon, however, fades away and the disguise is lifted! This wasn't an aurochs at all, but a second Demon hiding among the aurochs! The SR fails against the higher level of the demon

Reflex: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (7) + 11 = 18

The demon you could see, however, took the brunt of the spell!

As the first demon begins to cast a spell, Aajx fires, hitting him with an arrow.
Concentration check: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (5) + 17 = 22

Ajax- do your arrows overcome DR/good? It's relevant here as the concentration check passes if they do not and deals 3 damage and fails if the arrow does 13; casting greater teleport

The previously disguised demon likewise attempts to teleport to a more advantageous location.

@Petra, any way you can teleport Ajax out of here? Alternatively, I just go Total Defense. Next to Juniper, that would put my AC at like 36. I could get another +2 from Ara. A third option is Juniper can trigger all of the demons AoO's (going to assume it's got Combat Reflexes) and Ajax slips out..

EDIT:

You know, Ajax does have 10 planar arrows. I guess I only thought that worked against Elementals, but if those works against demons, I would use them for the spell disruption shots. GM's call. Not gong to be upset if you're wanting to keep things as is, since I didn't bother to ask until now..

Juniper is going to delay until after Kelvor. If @Kelvor steps 5 ft. north, then Juniper will likewise. @Kelvor: don't move. Regardless, Juniper is going to pretty much do the same thing as last round: total defense.

At the start of her turn, Juniper will assign her +1 bonus from her shield to @Grel. He will get a +1 untyped bonus to his AC until next turn, as long as he remains adjacent to me.

"More fiends, more fun for everyone!" Juniper giggles. "It was so kind of you to come to us so that we need not go to you. It is the last mistake you will ever make!"

She turns and points at the new demon standing in their midst. "Don't think you are getting away today either!"

Juniper continues her defensive posture.

She then moves behind Ara, then back to her original position. Which provokes from the white demon.

Emberkin took care of it.

Grel launches into attacks at the demon, but narrowly misses with his best aimed attacks.

Kelvor bashes the demon, and his final attack manages to do just enough when combined with the fire damage to put the first of them down!

Juniper activates her defensive abilities.

The demon avoids the worst of this attack, and thanks to its fire resistance takes slightly less.

From its skirmishes with Kellid warriors, the Kithangian has accumulated spoils of war that it stores under debris in the old house. This cache contains a gold torc, three intricately carved ivory bracelets, a minor ring of inner fortitude (Pathfinder RPG Ultimate Equipment 167), a suit of rhino hide, and a +2 cold iron courageous greatsword. There is also a lesser belt of mighty hurling (Ultimate Equipment 210).

This task done, with proof of slaying the Kithangian you begin heading back to the Kellid tribesmen.

Gigantic blackened bones protrude from the ground and break up the otherwise monotonous, barren landscape. Giant rib cages lie exposed to the stinging winds, forming strange avenues and tunnels, while enormous mammoth skulls, with tusks still intact, stare vacantly across the open steppe.
