Moving south to get a better angle, Nuktik mixes together a firey brew and tosses it at plant to the south west of his companion.

Hoping to shed some insight, he tries to recall what he can about the creatures.

Alchemist's Fire: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11 for Fire: 1d8 ⇒ 1 +1 Persistent and 1 splash

Nature?: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (9) + 0 = 9

Tolgy: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10

Vorak moves in and stabs out with his spear, but misses. His companion has a bit more luck, and Flenser slips in to bite and try to rip off some of the wooden form. However, the plant seems to resist the damage, and Flenser is unable to get a grip.

Nuktik hurls his fire and misses...but, the flames splash onto the creature, and it writhes about in pain - seemingly far more than one would usually react to the small bit of flame.

Jace's song is particularly strong and he sings it as Kuntaxl and Tolgy draw weapons and move into position.
