Dang. I had hoped that the light would stop the bleed effect. In that case I'm not sure Cloudia should use her ability on Aurus yet anyway, unless he stays out of melee, and unless Cloudia can do this without being seen. Because if she is seen she is dead meat.

Well, it's a new round, so you could do it now. Also the devils are quite weakened already, so Aurus might be able to kill them off quickly if the rest helps.

He could kill them off without risk if he just keeps sniping them. The problem is, that is just not Aurus. Now that the books have been joined he would feel free to commit suicide. Ugh. What do the rest of you think? Let Aurus be Aurus, or have him actually do the wise thing? And Cloudia, being Cloudia, would rush out to help if Aurus engaged.

Aurus will use his bow one more time (on orange) before charging in, trying to eliminate at least one of them before the suicidal charge.

I think Aurus was still airborn when the devils moved and has to land this round. But I'll take it if you give it to me. Aurus in front of us is much better than Aurus airborn and having to get inside their reach weapons without dying! Say, did any of them move past Aurus and draw an AoO?

I assumed Aurus would land otherwise he would be a lousy human shield for the cleric and sorcerer. The devils have enough movement to avoid any AoO anyway (40 base move, so with the double move they could easily circle)

The smite evil only adds to damage, as the charisma modifier is negative.

Nemrok is still invisible and he's not likely to join in the melee

The eagle attacks the devil, but only 1 attack manages to pierce the DR for a tiny amount of damage.

Cloudia's magic missile manages to finish the devil.

If Aurus gets a flank he attacks the one flanked, otherwise he steps up and tries to take out the more injured red.

Don't forget yellow is Aurus' Smite Evil target, so it's easier to hit yellow (and deal more damage), so don't focus too much on damage dealt.

Cloudia refreshes the bless from her wand which must be running out soon and steps into a flank with Aurus on Yellow after dropping her wand and taking a two handed grip on her longspear and threatening the devil with it.

The eagle glides forward 5' into a flank with Riceak and unleashes another flurry of probably useless attacks.

Refreshing bless seems like a wasted action IMHO. Feel free to do something else

All the eagles attacks miss as Riceak doesn't threaten (otherwise it would have been 1 damage)

Riceak is currently on 2 hitpoints as he is taking a lot of damage through the shield other, so he will probably channel and take the ring off to break the shield other and not die himself.

I'm running way low on spells. I have 2 first level spells and one second level spell left and I think we have the main battle to go to. I'm really low on options unless I want to break out the haste scroll which I'd rather save with this battle nearing completion. Besides with the spell resistance they have I'm not feeling particularly optimistic about landing any spells on them anyway. I could do a heavenly fire and heal someone for a tad bit. But I'm trying to save that to stop the bleeding when the fight is over. Though I suppose that with enough charges, a wand of CLW would eventually work if he doesn't bleed out first and I make my activation rolls or Riceak is still up. Is Riceak really at 2 HP? I thought he was just healed by the channel.

The party already diplomized the actual endfight. Furthermore, the party has gained knowledge about how the devils are weakened by the resealing of the tome, but it seems you haven't read the spoilers. Heavenly fire can be used offensively (and doesn't have the one time per person restriction)

As the seal has been restored you don't actually need the books anymore (and you didb't have time to pick them up AFAIK), and you don't need Lady Zadrian. You only need to take care of this one last injured devil.

Also it's not Cloudia's turn and Riceak cured himself quite a bit already.

Aurus bleeding needs to be stopped as soon as possible, but Riceak should be able to make a DC15 heal check before Aurus bleeds out

Using bit of luck is a standard action and a heal check is a standard action and there's no consequences to failure, so it's strictly better to just try twice though (or even just taking 10). Anyway, Aurus' bleeding is stopped. :-)

The Venture-Captain listens to your story and concludes you have several options:

1. Bring the tomes to the Sea Witch as you promised and get back the 5000gp.
2. Break your promise and keep the books, but let the Sea Witch keep the 5000gp (so everyone will have to chip in 1250 to keep it fair to Aurus).
3. Return to the Sea Witch, but kill him like a true Murder Hobo and take his stuff. (or be killed)
