What does it to take to get over or through this fence? I can't make the DC 30 Athletics to clear it with a high jump. If I take the normal 3-foot vertical Leap, will that be sufficient to grab hold of the top and pull myself over? Or a Climb check?
Athletics(Climb): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19
Action 1: Climb over the fence. Action 2: Stride. Does the door on the far side look open? If so, I will Stride in that direction, which is what I've done on the map.

1) Take Cover. 2 and 3) Magic Weapon for Kain. Your weapon is now a +1 striking weapon for the next minute, so add a +1 item bonus to your attacks and an extra damage die! Also, remember that you add your level to your proficiency bonus, so your regular attack should be at +7 before any buffs, rather than +6.

Bazerofan continues to try to gain control of the situation through spells.
1,2. Cast telekinetic maneuver to trip Barralbus Trip: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13 vs his Reflex DC.
3. Sustain the illusion, which then gets two actions of its own:
A. Attack Barralbus: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14 for 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7 nonlethal damage.
B. Attack Barralbus: 1d20 + 9 - 5 ⇒ (14) + 9 - 5 = 18 for 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7 nonlethal damage.
I apologize for the complexity involved with this spell.
Fortiva
|
I believe Tanaka has his retributive strike for the guard that hit me, and I take three less damage from it.
Tanaka Ryū
|
Fortiva is right, Ryū used his Retributive Strike reaction, both are in 15 feet and as the guard is within melee range, he also gets a Strike.
Seeing Fortiva targeted, Ryū shouts a word of warning and attacks the guard that is trying to get her.
Strike at the blue guard: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22 for Slashing: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
He then tries to get rid of the other guard.
If red guard goes down, Ryū takes a Step to take his space.
<1> Strike at the red guard, vs FF: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17 for Slashing: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
<1> Strike at the red guard, vs FF: 1d20 + 7 - 5 ⇒ (18) + 7 - 5 = 20 for Slashing: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13
<1>Strike at the red guard: 1d20 + 7 - 10 ⇒ (2) + 7 - 10 = -1
Use Retributive Strike reaction during any guard attack that hits as that would give an extra attack at them.
Fortiva

Fortiva gets ready to do a couple squat-thrusts (or maybe a squat-lunge) on her turn... :D
Highwire Sanja

Highwire tries to squeeze through the gap he has created.
Acrobatics(Squeeze): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
Assuming that wasn't a success, I'll try again ...
Acrobatics(Squeeze): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16
If I need to, I'll attempt a third time.
Acrobatics(Squeeze): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
Oh, bloody ... spending a hero point, if that 16 wasn't a success. BTW - Have we gotten any extra hero points yet?
Acrobatcis(Squeeze) re-roll w/ promotional bonus: 1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 7 + 1 = 24
So if I made it through on the 16, I will take a Stride action to move through the lower path around the crates. If it took all three actions to successfully Squeeze, then I guess that's all I do.

Bazorafan's trip attempt fails against Barralbus, as do both attacks from the illusion. However, this does seem to grab the attemtion of the man.
Tanaka strikes the red guard, hitting twice, and taking her down.
Interesting. Unlike previous versions, there is nothing to say when you can choose to reroll with a hero point. I hadn't noticed that before. In any case, if I roll a save for you (which has always been my PBP style, and noted in my profile), you can reroll if you have a hero point.
However, you should do that immediately upon seeing the post, so as not to slow the game down.
