I'm considering one or both of the following options:

Taking the Blackjack role; I suspect Quinn will be dealing with a lot of barriers during the next scenario, so being able to reload rather than burying for a power-up would be advantageous!

Taking Salvator Scream; boosts to Knowledge (or Perception) could come in handy.

Quinn's pretty much only looking for level 4 upgrades at this point.
He has good options for Item or Weapon, and a reasonable one for Armor.

Unfortunately we didn't get any of them.
He could possibly use an Armor 3, but there isn't one of those, either.

Quinn will pass on upgrades.

He'll spend his Hero Point on a Skill feat to boost his Int to +4

And no one is interested in the Shoanti Barbarian Hide or Lyrune-quah Truthspeaker?

The Shoanti Barbarian Hide isn't great for Koren. And he has no Ally slots so can't take the Lyrune-quah Truthspeaker.

Quinn's already replacing one ally in his deck; while the truthspeaker has a nice 'heal two cards' option, I'm not sure what he'd replace. Quinn doesn't often run out of cards (especially if he's at the some location as Koren), the last scenario notwithstanding.

I'll think about it some more just in case nobody else takes it, but I'm making no promises.
