Since this didn't get answered in the recruitment thread, I'll ask it here. How do you all like to handle maps in PBPs?
Most of the campaigns I've been in use Google Slides, that seems to work. I like grids personally, but I'll defer to the others.

I agree. Google slides seems a quick and inexpensive way to trait players and monsters.
I would say either write a new one up or use Ragathiel.

I apologize for my lack of posting over the long weekend. There was a bit more going on than I had anticipated.

I was thinking that perhaps the reason Jak is in the city is because he's re-enlisting. What if the elite scout unit requires a 10 year enlistment similar to the Roman legions.
Jak's actual end of enlistment was a week prior but his re-enlistment ceremony was moved back to coincide with the prince's birthday. Perhaps the prince planned to preside over the re-enlistment of several hundred (or dozen?) Veterans to add a little more gravitas to his birthday?
Thus technically speaking Jak is no longer in the Army. His first enlistment is over and he hasn't signed on the dotted line committing him to the next 10 years.
It looks like this campaign may have died before it finished beginning.
It happens more often than not here.

I suspect running a campaign online requires more time and effort than many people realise.
I have been in a lot of campaigns that fizzled, but only one other that did so so fast. Oh well, nice to meet you guys.
