Gathering up your evidence, and the testimony of the Triad operative, you head to the Fraternal Order.

A trio of representatives from the Fraternal Order of the Anvil agrees to meet with you in short order and listen to your testimony. They rapidly come to the conclusion that Mekrem was framed, and promise to immediately reinstate his membership, going so far as to dispatch workers to help track down some of Mekrem’s goods and tools.

Mekrem is overjoyed!

"I-I don't know how to thank-you. Still, even though my reputation has been restored, my business is in tatters... I don't want to ask more of you, but if you could help get me back on my feet, I promise to put my skills at your disposal!"

This provides you with a special downtime activity: Getting Mekrem Back On His Feet: Crafting, Diplomacy, Intimidation, or Mercantile Lore check to track down the missing wares or help set up the shop again. It will take 2 successes to do so.

Ibis Fountain is the centerpiece of a small plaza associated with the League of Peshmongers, which sees just enough traffic for you not to attract notice and little enough to avoid a crowd.

Many of the buildings feature open storefronts and wholesale vendors selling pesh of varying quality.

As you are waiting for your appointment, two Zephyr Guards accompanied by a pair of spirit-bound aluums enter the plaza. The onlookers give the
procession a wide berth, but the guards show a charcoal illustration to various bystanders as though searching for a criminal.

Perception: 1d20 + 31 ⇒ (14) + 31 = 45.

Jean-Pierre sees the image of a middle-aged human woman, and spots that woman fetching water from the fountain. Moments later, the guards spot her as she tries to sneak away, presenting their aluum charms and commanding the aluums to detain her. At first, the constructs don’t respond. However, jean-Pierre notices two figures—one in the southeast alley and another in a third-story window—present their own aluum charms and issue quiet commands.

The aluums respond to these orders, each grabbing a Zephyr Guard and crushing them messily!

With that, the aluums begin rampaging around the plaza; it is clear that they will cause untold damage if not stopped!

Jean-Pierre's first arrow slams into the horrifically damaged construct, shattering the central crystal, which causes it to fall to the ground like the dead-weight it is.

Once Jean-Pierre defeats the Aluums, witnesses approach to assess the damage caused by the golems and to investigate the noise. Many complain that this isn’t the first time the Pactmasters’ pet golems have escaped control, and they question how the Zephyr Guard could have failed like this. Some of the surviving pesh merchants quietly accuse each other of inviting this disaster, citing the League of Peshmongers’ unpopular attempts to control the drug supply. Everyone observes Jean-Pierre, waiting to see if they can clarify the matter.

The assembled pesh-sellers grumble, but eventually accept Jean-Pierre's version of events... although it only services to convince them that, now more than ever, they need the Triad's 'protection'.

The following day morning, you receive a final letter from Whahar that notes Ghost is most intrigued by how the meeting went and will continue watching your actions with interest; it is accompanied by a letter from the Fleshmonger Federation, presenting their compliments, and noting that, as a result of services rendered, and advice given, they are ratifying their support for Jean-Pierre's endeavour.
